Introduction:
Deals with SMS and Phone Lock using the Accelerometers technology,
to make you use the phone in an easier way!

Main Functionality(V1.00 Beta):
SensorTimerout : 30, 60, 90, 120 (seconds) ---- To save Battery
Sensitivity: Very, Less, Normal, Not so, Not Sensitive ---- how hard you have to shake
ShakeNewSMS: View&Unlock, ViewOnly ---- When New SMS is In
ShakeAgain: HomeScreen&Lock, OnlyLock, OnlyHomeScreen ---- Shake a Second Time
AutoStart: No, Yes, Yes&Hide ---- Start the Application automatically

Scenario: when you receive a short message.

Normally without ShakeSMS:
you need to unlock the phone first, then read the message, after replying, lock the phone again.

With ShakeSMS:
just shake your phone, you can read the sms;
shake it again, it goes back and phone locked!

watz dis app is actually 4??? didnt get it..

when you get new sms shake your phone and it will open up the messaging application and unlock your phone so you can view it... shake it again and it will close the messaging application and return to home screen

The N73 hasn't got an accelerometer and there4 won't work mate!

Why not working on my N95??
i have accel installed in my phone.....

In my N95 classic it unlocks but gives a error when opening the sms...
So, it doesn´t work very well...

Is there some advice that i need to know??

I get the same problem like sncrespo

I do have other program that uses accelerometer in my phone like flip silent.
But there are not running when i tried shake sms

it says on symbiansigned.com that you need a publisher ID now to get a cert... how does one go about that..?

Does it work on your phones in the same way like on mine? I mean.. If I receive a sms and shake my phone immediately, the sms will open. But.. If I receive a sms, and shake my phone about 30 minutes later, the sms won't open..

seems useful but too bad its unsigned :(

Work at first time

I have the accelerometer plug in and this ap does not work correctly for me: 1. The text is outside of its text box in the menu, and 2: When i have it running and i shake my phone it says press unlock to activate keypad. I have an n95 8gb, any suggestions?

So, there's no way for me to have this software installed, right? I have no Publisher ID and there are not SIGNED versions..

i have trouble with the sensitivity... when i set it to normal it stop responding no matter how hard i shake...

You must shake it like this, ill try to explain in my very best, phone must be horizontal, for example, imagine phone on a table, now you shake it up and down, screen must be horizontal and shaked up/down...

Unless you have a publisher cer (or developer, i always get them mixed up) then there is no way

Buy a N95. It only works on phones with an accelometer

does al the phone with Symbian OS-9.1/9.2 support this features? great work!!

Only Nokia N95/8Gb and N82 works with this...

even better then perfect, i can open the message before opening the phone :P and if i open the flip afterwards i see an open message, that`s pretty cool, isn`t it?

for thos who hv trouble opening it, set the sensitivity to 'less sensitive' which is higher than 'normal', works better that way.

- this is what the sensor timeout is for, from a minimum of 30 secs aftr the sms comes in to 2 mins later. after tht the app will be in 'sleep' mode. good way to save battery power

Signing apps is not possible as symbian signed not allowing creation of new certificate...
If you have cert for you phone IMEI than only this app can be signed for you...

I have found an alternative application for shakesms.
Works fine for my N95 !
