hello friends, i had installed tinyvista (ultimate) and it was working fine.
Then i tried to change the system sounds by adding another sound package.
It had asked me that my registry would change.
i accepted it.

Now the problem is,
i am unable to play any system sounds.
My win media player and other multimedia programs runs with a good music but only my system sounds are not playing.

Any treatment for this.
In hope of help.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your sound drivers... Also make sure thats the speakers are Vista compatable etc

Goto control panel sound & audio devices, sounds, then on sound scheme choose default.

Click apply then choose any of the sound events (with icon) then click play to test it.

Post your results.

i could restore some of my sounds.
but had to face some pain, that i had to manually set a sound for each activity.

anyway with your help i am able to make my vista live.
