Sametime is the inter-company messaging application by IBM.

Reps, employees use Sametime on the desktop to communicate with one another. Certain plugins (its also available publicly) are available for MSN/AIM/Yahoo messagin (just like the old NotesBuddy on teh desktop).

However. SameTime will NOT work if you are solely on a BIS usuage. You MUST be on a BES that is connected to a Domino/SameTime Server in which you're username is already active (for desktop usuage) and also been enabled for mobile usuage (you may have to set this up on the desktop Options menu) as SameTime offers incredible presence information to your colleagues. Oh yeah it also offers file transfers as well.

I used to have a screenshot long ago of me on BIS that showed it not working.
You will ALSO need to configure the messaging port (many company's or support desks will have different ports in use; this is where I mentioned that enabling for mobile use may also come into play here).

Ebuddy does not work on the 8703e. Most messengers dont work on older blackberries. That is why we need IM+ cracked.

Nice try. Not compatible with my device. 8703e. I force loaded it with javaloader.exe. Error--> "ERROR starting IM_2_BES:Class 'net.rim.device.api.system.WLANConnectionListener' not found."

Lets keep trying. I know we can get it. Thank You!
