1) Mapking is not suppported for BB. But you can install Google Maps and there is also a default Map application for BB.
2) WM program cannot be used. BB uses a Java OS platform.
3) BB does not have touch screen. All you need is a trackball to navigate around.

2> BB's are BASED on Java CLDC/J2ME MIDP 2.1 platform - uses combination of the 2 but MOSTLY based on J2ME MIDP 2.1. The reason I saw BASED is although .jar/.jad files can be installed the native applications are in .alx/.cod (apps & db's of those apps), or RIMlets instead of "applets". The reason for this is the secure nature of Blackberry's. The thread op will be hard pressed to find "hacked" applications for the Blackberry. Plenty are free, or cheap, but high end corporate applications; for the most part will cost you - although a few messaging apps like SameTime for IBM Domino/BES servers is free (I have it).
3) Trackball for newer OS 4.1/2 based devices (save for upgraded 87xx series), older models have TrackWheel. (you were showing BB newbness isolating only the trackball units ;) just kidding).
