I'm going to buy a PC with configuration:

Processor: Intel E6850 (3GHz, 4MB L2)
Motherboard: Asus P5E-VM HDMI
Ram: 2GB
VGA: Built in 384MB shared
Audio: Built in 7.1
HD: 160 GB Sata
Optical drive: Asus LightScribe DVD Writer # DRW-2014L1T (SATA)

OS: Vista32

This PC will be used for:
#Personal apache server(for php development)
#Visual C# programming
#Graphics (ph cs3)
#Mathcad 14
#Autocad Electrical 2008

In near future I'm willing to go with video editing(Premier cs3).

Some information about my place:

Average temp: 30C
Max temp: 42
Min temp: 8C

There is no AC in the room.

Running time per day: 16hrs average

Plz comment and rate and tell if you have any alternate configuration, any thermal solution(specify plz) needed etc.

No. 1 - In using AutoCAD you need to have a VGA card especially if you use 3D. Aside from that you will use it for CS3 and most important, video editing.
No. 2 - You are using it as server. Better to double the memory and hard disk.
No. 3 - Use DVD writer with a specification of "Dual Layer" to double its capacity (8.5GB)
No. 4 - Much better if you have aircon or an aluminum casing because your PC will run in 26 hours.
No. 5 - Dont use builtin.

I would consider more than 3ghz if you are thinking of videoediting in the near future.

i would buy more RAM
vista uses it alot and if you video-editing ; the more the better

agreed...should go something like 1TB hard disk or 500GB, VGA card like 8600/8800 is enough...:exactly:
