hello there pips... i have a bit of a problem with my pc and i dont know whats causing it, hope anyone here knows he answer.

heres the problem.
i love playing movies in my pc but recently it becomes so sluggish and it would pause, hangs a bit and the sounds is skipping, "just Like you are watching a pirated Movie". i haven't encountered it before. i even tried playing it in many media player but still the same. both DVD video and the videos i have in my pc(Xvid format)... one thing i have noticed though when looked at in the task manager is that my CPU usage fluctuates from about 70 - 100% usage even when the only program i use is the media player classic or the winamp... same with playing the music also... seems that i am using too much cpu usage to cause this problem, but before i used to play movies and music without any problem even when there are other programs running at the background.
