now, could anyone get me a serial or a crack for ilog?

and perhaps tell me how i can visualise the code of a unix executable? so i can look for a code myself and or analyse the code of any app in general.

hmm, can't seem to get it to work, not even after putting everything as 0777 permission, i checked the unix file, it looks like the original, although it is altered as ilog crashes back to springboard after starting up.

just my fast thoughts

right click on the info.plist file then properties, then change xyz values till 0755.

(info.plist file located inside the ilog.app folder.change after overwriting the original folder.)

reboot the iphone to effect..it works on 1.1.4 perfectly.

hmm, there is no applications folder in /private/var so i ended up putting it in /applications could that be the reason i failed?

It works with 1.1.3, but buggy. If I start the app, it looks fine. But as soon as I select Log, the Recents doe not show up anymore (remains on Log, the Recents tab is highlighted, but the content does not change).

Hi there! I happened to find this thread about iLog while i am stuck with cracking the pop up message in it. However, my iLog seems to crash back to the spring board after i have copied the crack files to the folder as mentioned i.e. /private/var/Applications. and have also set the permission for all the files in the app folder. What have i done wrong? Please help

Uploading/downloading/modding iphone files can be done in many ways but there are 2 major cases 1) You have wifi access 2) No wifi access

Case 1 (You have wifi access)

Requirements:
1. Jailbroken iphone
2. OS must be windows only (XP,Vista)

Steps:
1) First of all download WinSCP from here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).

2) Install the app like you normally do with other apps.

3) Make sure you install BSDSUBSYSTEM and OpenSSH from your installer in the category SYSTEM.

4) Activate your wireless and find out what’s your ip.

5) Start WinSCP or FUGU

6) Fill in your ip address (you found it at step 4), fill in username : root, and password: alpine (this is for everybody the same, except if you have changed it)

7) After you have pressed the login button, a popup window will appear. Just click ok.

In this screen, your iPhone/iPod touch is the directory on the right.
Now you can start copying files from your iPhone to your desktop and vice-versa.

Taking the ROMs directory as an example.
To navigate to it. Go to your root and navigate to /private/var/mobile/Media/ROMs
(For Applications navigate to /private/var/Applications or /var/root/Applications)

9) Now you can create directory, upload and download files from your iPhone/iPod Touch.

Note: To change permissions right click the file & click on the properties & change the permissions as per the requirements.

Case 2 (No wifi access)

Requirements:
1. Jailbroken iphone

Note: This can be easily done by "iphonebrowser ([Only registered and activated users can see links])" but since it does not have the capability to change permissions so I am giving you the tutorial of "iphone pc suite".

Steps:
1) Download iphone pc suite from here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) or here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).

2) Extract the files in a folder & double click on "iphone pc suite.exe"

3) iphone pc suite GUI will be launched.

4) Connect your iPod Touch/iPhone into your computer via the Apple given USB cable and set it up with iPhonePCSuite.

5) iPhone PC Suite will install a Daemon Tool in the iphone so that windows recognizes iphone as a disk device is mounted, before it can read onto iphone pc suite.

6) Once connected, to enter the File Manager mode (which we'll need to set permissions), click on the bottom right icon of the iPod Touch/iPhone computer GUI named Finder.

Works perfect in OSX use cyberduc and mark all permisions in the info window, you'll get a 777

The application works just fine on start-up. Everything is separated properly, too. The only problem is that you can't go back to Recents.

A make-shift solution is to hold down the home button for eight seconds and then relaunch iLog. You'll gain access to that info then.

Not the nicest solution, but it works.

I copied iLog in my iPhone 1.1.4 as per instructions... but no luck.... program screen appears with all buttons but without text over it and after few sec. it quits.....!!!

any other guide line.....?

Currently the phone is giving a blank screen with an apple in the middle (as as iacdxb's problem) and fail to turn it on. How to fix this issue? How to turn the phone on if one should install the iLog crack and finally from where do we install this crack??

I got the same problem, but just after I used bosstool to free disk space.
Maybe the crack is not compatibile with boostool

ok only on 1.1.4 go to root/Application/ in there u will see the iLog.app just replace tha app if the one i replyed in previous post
if u dont have ilog download it form installer
how crack it when u go to open the iLog.app go to register on the right side corner enter what ever serial u want like (45455) (00000) what ever and hit enter
And This Crack Work On iLog 1.1.0 the new version all u need is this
Go to root/Application/iLog.app and replace respring restart what ever and register it

can you post your crashlog? (are you able to ssh into it?)

black screen with the apple in the middle means your iphone is open, connect it to computer use iphone browser go to applications, and delete the ilog folder, then restart iphone it will open now. and your new problem is to install ilog, im going to search the sources of the cracked ilog

what do you see when you are in /Applications and type:
ls -la|wc -l

if the number is above 80, then you can sure that you have installed more then allow count of apps. you need to move them by using mv to your home directory (~/)

i am connecting with winscp for a while..... for few seconds.

when I gave that command.... it shows....

command ls -la|wc -l
failed with return code 139 and error message


i think.... you are right.... i should move all application to root. actually there was some space problem so through other forum... i moved all applications to to other partition. I think I have to move back all application... but how... pls. any guide line.

ok, looks like you dont have command "wc" you can try "ls -la" and count manually the apps.

when you are connected with scp, just copy over some useless apps and remove them from your phone. hope this help

ok, please type exactly following, you can also do copy and paste (after loggin in via putty):

cd /Applications
ls -la


ALTERNATIVELY:
connect to your phone with winscp
check to applications dir
count the apps or delete them there (the useless onces)

Well, guys, another patch for this prog is here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). It is more stable (i think), and you won't need to enter any serial. Just replace the executable file iLog in /Applications/iLog.app and enjoy!
