Aftr some time, I finally found some Games wich can be played by the touchscreen.

Installation:
In The Phone: Connection==>USB as Data Storage
Connect Phone with the included USB Cable
In teh Internet Explorer, you see the Phone and Card Storage
Go to one of them (better to the Card )
Go to the Folder"Others"
Copy your Games to this direction
Disconnect the Phone
In the Phone gi to Your Files ==>Others
Choose or Game Installation File, Left Button & install
Follow the Screen
Youll' Find your Games in "Games" "Downloaded"

Handling
Gae Menues: In teh Game Menues, just Click on the poit you want. In some games, you go up/down a point by clicking the top or bottom of the Screen.
Normally you don't need the virtual keys

Games:
Age of Empires 2
Sudoku Platinum
Maha Touch
Asphalt 2
Cake Mania
FIFA Manager 08
PubMania
SWAT Force
Teddy Factory
Theme Park Tycoon
Yeti Sports 8

All the Games shuld run with touchscreen support, but not all of them are tested...

so please say what is exactly the problem?
-extract the files in a folder
-choose your game, f.e. maha.jar
copy the jar/jad file into the phone (on the card...)into the folder "others"
-in the phone, go to my files==>others and chosse the file
on the left button choose install

i have just the lg prada but i think normally it should be the same...?!

Very good input, were tested in a motorola a1200, worked all but fifa manger, got that most games are touchscreen? Are for my brother and we all know that scarcity of games of this type. Sorry for my bad English

As I know, Java 2 ME technology doesn't support touchscreen.

No no Prada has 240x320 screen resolution and Viewty has 240x400. These games will not fit the Prada's screen I think. I am collecting LG Prada games now, when will have enough games to share, I will do it

i installed 8 of them until now and they work fine, I had no problems with the resolution.

I deleted by mistake all four preinstalled games from my lg Prada ( Halloween Fever, Photo Puzzle, Virus and Pipe)!

is there any games available for the lg kf700 as i know the resolution is different from the viewty on the viewty its 240x400 and on the kf700 its 240x480

Any idea why the new Samsung SGH-F480 doesn't support the .jar filetype? it's been preventing me from putting on anything, games, applications etc...

Tried putting them on via USB mass storage, through studio programe that comes with the phone, and tried uploading them to a website and downloading them directly onto the phone.

Any help is much appriciated!

Samsung supports only downloading Java from WAP being just bought. Some programs let you to install Java from PC but it is not so easy.

These games I've shared designed for Viewty phone only. Maybe they can work on other devices, I can't guarantee this. Use Pocket PC/Palm Games section on this forum to search games for KS20, I've shared some there...

These games don't have 240x400 resolution, usually they run in 240x294 or 240x300. The same thing with original Samsung i900 Java games, they are 240x348

games suitable for Omnia are full 240x400 and cover the entire surface of the touchscreen. I thought that these games for viewty would be the same. It doesn't matter. Do you know if there is a trick, the same as for Nokia adding a resize line in the MANIFEST.MF in order to make them full screen? I tried writing Samsung instead of Nokia in the resize raw but it doesn't work.

I have two of them and when they open are full screen. I don't think the cell resize them because figures in the screen are proportional.
I'm sure they are full resolution

Rename the file name to any other name and then try to install the game cuz i think this error is occuring due to bad file name..so this may help.

Hi guys, I would like to say thank you soo much Митяй for uploading all these games. But i would like to ask you for one more favor, can someone upload Assassins Creed or any RPG game for the LG Viewty?

i dont hav the LG Viewty but i have the Samsung F480 and so far all the games work fine. The only problem is that the games were designed to be played with a stylis and its a little clumsy with the fingers. But thats not a problem and im very content.

anyway in return ill teach all you F480 owners how to download these games.

basically, first, download these games onto ur computers,
then go to www.euploader.com which has a very easy to use wap uploading system.
on the first page, select the language u would like to view the website in,
then they will take you onto the main page where u can upload your games.
click on browse, upload the .jar file. And go on the wap website (provided after u upload the game) on your phone. Enter the codes and ID they gave you on ur phone web page and begin the download.

also to remove the bar on the F480, download winrar from www.rarlabs.com (i think) and open the .jar file with winrar, look around and find the file MANIFEST. Open it with notepad and add the line

MIDlet-Touch-Support: True

finally close the notepad window and save it, and a pop up will appear asking bout making changes to the whole jar file, click save or yes (i forgot which are the choices) and u're done!

i kno not many F480 users go on this thread but its the only thread i could find with games for my F480 so if u F480 users find this thread, i hope this will be helpful. So sorry if this is meaningless to some of you. Its the least i could do to help....

You will find that not many touch screen games are available for 240 x 400 screen size phones and lots of the games posted here are from other sites that have been posted wrongly like these games(most are for 240 x 320), if you want to get games that fit your phone i am sorry but it will have to be trial and error and i do agree with you if you are going to post someone elses games then at least say you havnt tried them or if you have tried them then give some feedback and give some respect to the original poster please.

You will find that this site will be updated when the other site is updated and the games are taken and then posted here.

Why do you quote that they are for 240 x 320 screen sizes when you must know that the Viewty and the Prada are 240 x 400 pixel screen size. and not 240 x 320 pixels.

Also you state you are posting the retail versions of these games so you should know if they work and what phone model you are downloading them for.

You have to understand that a lot of people take games from other sites and then say they are their's to take some GLORY (you know who you are out there) so when people say they are there games then they will be able to post them straight away, but i know that when these games come on the other games sites they will appear here as your games or other peoples games.

This is a fact, why do you think no one has posted any good games lately.

i have a viewty and i downloaded the stuff on the first page and there r only a few games that have a jar/jad file. what do u do with the others? they have like 30+ things? and i do not have the net on my phone. is there a way to get them without having the net on my phone?

You can generate jad from a jar with a prog called JAD Maker

You don't need to extract JAR files. You have to install them

hi i was just wondering if theres a walkthrough to show how to install viewty games on samsung pixon.

I can send them to my Pixon via bluetooth and they install (apart from the odd few which give a java error) no problems heres how i do it

1. download files onto pc
2. send .jar file via bluetooth
3. navigate to folder called "My Files" and open, then open folder called "Other FIles", there you will see the jar file, tap the file to install, it will say it is not signed just click "Cont" and it will go to another screen giving all the details of the file, just tap "install", and it will install if a valid jar file. If installed correctly another box will pop up asking if you want to "PLay" or "Go BAck"(I think) tap play and the game will play (maybe)
4. Navigate to "Applications" then to "Games and more" and just tap the file you want.

Most Gameloft games will install and play but may not be touchscreen

I had problems installing games on my Samsung Pixon that was on o2, the java installation lock was activated by o2 which stopped me from installing java apps and games, i searched for the Samsung java unlock code but after trying several old ones i decided to sell the phone and buy another on T-Mobile, this has the lock removed and i drop java and jad files onto my memory card in a folder i renamed other(i dont think it matters) and then i put the memory card into my phone and clicked on either the jar or jad file and they worked a treat, i did state earlier that this phone was unable to install java apps and gmes and i apologise as it appear that some carriers have locked the java application installer on their handsets, i have now tried loads of games and they all seem to work, if you try any java game that are 240 x 320 pixels, it doesnt have to be touch screen version as the bottom of the Pixon screen has a virtual keypad to work with any game, it has direction and ok(fire) buttons and left and right option buttons that all phones have, try some games as i mention but only try 240 x 320 pixel size as that allows for the virtual keypad to be shown or get the full size ones that are fully touch screen and you will see that they do work, i will add some games for you to try, and i have included a jad. maker.

I have tried the same version I had on my w850, it installs, then resets every time I try to play it. I have tried to find a different version, but I assume they're all the same as non will work.
