Sure.

Just run the setup within your PC then copy the cracked file to your device and run it. After that your app. will be registered.

I presume that you have Activesync or Vista Sync Center installed.

Honestly I don't know chinese writing, but I don't think the pinyin input is acting abnormally after applying the crack. Maybe try a full clean of the existing version before installing the new one.

Can you advise me how to install the crack? I copied all the 6 files in the .RAR to the phone and run the "_setup.xml". However, the editor open the xml file and show me all the text in the file instead.

Am I doing it correctly ?

Just got the HTC Touch, my first WM phone. The OS is English which isn't easy to get in my part of Asia (neither is a HTC phone full stop lol).

Now you'd think the app disc which has this app on would definitely be included in the box - no chance.

Went back to the store and all they can give me is active synch 4.5.

So I'm so glad I've found this post as I really need to be able to see any Chinese sms etc I receive. Please can you confirm that this app allows not just writing in Chinese/Japanese but also reading?

Secondly, if I mess this install up through never doing it before, there's basically no chance of the shop being able to put it right. So can I please confirm with you from your above directions that:

a) I actually install the app on my desktop, not my HTC ?
b) then I unpack and put the cracked files somewhere on my phone? Where? Does active synch make this easy? Or do I need to create a folder to hold the app files on the sd card along with the crack?

Any 1,2,3 step guide would really be of help as I'm getting stuff sent to me that's all squares.

I install the main program on the phone(2.8 R3c). When i run the crack, the program prompt me to remove previous version, i click yes to continue, later program prompt cannot previous version and ask to continue. I click yes again nad ask to install in device or storage? I tried both but the program prompt installation of Crack_R3c.cab was unsucessful. Any advise?

using htc touch cruise was actually using wm6 original rom when change to htc wm6.1 rom for touch cruise i cant install ce star! it is shown in the picture attachment!

Warning for anyone installing the crack, after installing the crack you can no longer use pinyin input and im not sure if this next probem is because of the crack but after uninstalling you can not re-install, atleast, I cant. It gives me an error stating that I need to uninstall CE-Star before installing.

is this crack for PDA only? I am on a smartphone, and even before the crack (after installing the smartphone version of CE-Star) I do not know how to input pinyin, its nowhere in the manual either.

I have solve the solution to why u are not able to type chinese in your mobile. when u install it u have to check all the boxes and everything is fine.

but hey. i read somemore that for this software on HTC DIAMOND, the chinese input will have to use ce-star's qwerty onscreen keyboard. can't use HTC's keypad right?

i used it on my Hermes and now TyTN II with no problem. I used it for Japanese though... just to display japanese character on filename... sometime i do use cestar keyboard and hand recognition... all other time, i just use normal keyboard...

X1 user here. How do u install this thing?

I downloaded the "part1" file and run the .exe file on my PC
My phone restarts, after that I run the cab file on my x1
But for some how my phone will hang when im trying to use CE-Star in the SMS.

Is it something that I did wrong??
"part2" couldnt extract.. bad lock..

i tried installing it and it did install in the phone memory ram or rom i forgot. but i want to install it in the 4gb internal memory of the htc diamond. how to do it?

Thanks. Just installed on Dopod S1 (HTC Touch), WM 6.1 Pro, 201 Mhz, 110 Mb Mem, 8 Gb Expansion. No problems, PinYin works fine, English works fine, Clock works fine, SMS works fine. :-D

doesnt work for htc diamond 2 1.39 rom.. installation is fine but nothing happens after .. doesnt seem to have any effect.. i dunno if its my finger keyboard that is interfering with it but i tried to disabling my finger keyboard still nothing happens.. anyone have any success with it.. on D2 ..?

It's kinda weird here that when you type, the list of characters will appear for you to select from it, but it shows boxes after you've selected it. Why is this happening? Maybe U can try out my steps to see if it's only me or a bug in CE-star

1) Start CE-Star
2) Write and send a chinese SMS
3) Close "Messaging"
4) Locate the CE-Star icon on the Start Page and 'click' it to fully exit CE-Star.

Now, try start a new SMS and see if you have a blank screen.:afraid:
