you dont need the pc side software if you have an SD card, just backup to SD card and then if you wanna make a backup of the backup, just copy that file to the PC.
I used to use the PC side of the software but i quit, realizing that its a lot easier to backup onto an SD card, you can do it anywhere, anytime, and if you feel that you might loose that backup, u can just copy it over to your PC

But i WANT to use the PC part of the software :)
