Before you start, here are the requirements:

:arrow: You should have Quickoffice v3.x or v4.x installed. (For those who have v5.x installed, I will post the solution to remove it shortly)

:arrow: X-plore file manager is preferred. You can use any file manager of your choice but I have used X-plore in this tutorial.

:arrow: Your phone should have good internet connectivity (LAN, 3G, etc). You need to download approx 3.3 MB of data.

:arrow: On your phone make a folder E:\Quickoffice\ and copy the supplied quickofficePU_5016.sis file to it. We will install it later.

Lets do it

Start Quickoffice and scroll to Quickmanager tab by pressing joystick right. Then select "Updates & upgrades" by clicking it.

Confirm when prompted to connect to internet and select the access point. Now the catalog will get updated and presented to you. Select Quickoffice 5.0 by clicking on it.

When this page appears select Purchase (left softkey). You will then get prompted for Full license. Press OK (left softkey)

Now the following screen will be shown and downloading will start. When the download completes, you will be prompted to press 'Continue'. BUT DO NOT PRESS IT

Now without closing Quickoffice switch to X-Plore and browse to C:\private\200002c0\. This folder will contain a file named install.zip. Copy this file to the E:\Quickoffice\ folder. Now switch back to Quickoffice, cancel the purchase and close it.

If you want to get your copy of Adobe Reader LE 2.5 Retail absolutely free then proceed to this thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) now before you continue any further (You won't be able to do it later, we will continue from here once you are done installing Adobe Reader LE 2.5).
Now install the E:\Quickoffice\quickofficePU_5016.sis. After installation do not start Quickoffice.

:arrow: Step 3
Create the following folders & sub folders if they don't already exist:
c:\system\data\Quickoffice\license_install\W910003 \

Open up E:\Quickoffice\install.zip in X-plore and extract data.xml & key files to the folder we just now created above (Mark those files & press 4 to extract).

If your phone is N95 8GB then you need to restart your phone before starting Quickoffice.

All done! :D Now you have your very own full retail version of Quickoffice Premier v5.0. In case you ever format your phone or upgrade firmware just perform Steps 2 & 3. Preserve the E:\Quickoffice\ folder and its contents for future installations.

I have personally followed this procedure on my N73 & N95 successfully. On N73 for internet connectivity I used bluetooth (GnuBox) :D

at the begining I was tying to downoad upgrade from web as most tutorials said. no way. neither could find any method how to do it. hear on some forums install.zip is IMEI dependand ....
so tried installing qo 5.0.32 over qo 4.5.25.0. but unfortunatly all thos magic steps dod not worked. QO was asking for unlock code or purchase - so annoying...
ofcourse could not uninstall it - but.....

as I got those two magic hacks on board secman+hellocarbide started to install older version in hope it will finally overwrite 5.0.32.
at the begining installed 5.0.16 - installed - but still I could notget install.zip - v5 gives no upgrade iwth download option :(
tried different 4.5.25.0 versions...few days no luck and suddenly! gotya! everything worked!

get to the piont:
1. you have both hacks running. (used patch and menu 1 from hellocarbide and sec off from secman)
2. download quickoffice.premier.upgrade.v4.5.25.0.s60v3.symbia nos9.1.unsigned_whit_crack-binpda.zip from [Only registered and activated users can see links]
if you have 5.0.32. try to simply install v4.5.25.0 over it. if it will not work try to install 5.0.16 and then install v4.5.25.0 again. should work - worked for me:)
3. follow strictly steps from [Only registered and activated users can see links] - especially use directory name W760003 !!!

M8 as swanky posted you were supposed to install quickoffice along with adobe . If you finish the procedure before installing quickoffice you won't be able to install it . Swanky has warned about this in his post too . Anyway try this reversal technique by spaced above and then try to repeat the whole process . Next time read the whole content first before proceeding and be careful and think beforehand what would you do if something went wrong . Enjoy .

739952 please check your internet connection while you use the catalogue . It should be gprs as wap has failed for me too . Gprs works fine .

oh sorry but i forgot to inform that i already got a hacked fon.. i have installed quickoffice 5, and my problem is that when i try to do it with the adobe reader it would ask for my card.. so my question is.. what do i do now?

^^^ 7399052, Check that some firewall like that of KMS 7 isn't preventing you from using your gprs or wlan . It used to affect me a lot back when i used it (I've uninstalled it now as i had a fallout with it's cracker ;)).

well my method was born in pain:( as I had problms with getting the catalogue from QO. so as I stuck in the middle with trial version I had to do deeper research...and myway was to play with installation of other version.
target was to get this f****** catalogue as of v4 not v5 - cause v5 was not giving any update!

I used both hacks to be sure there is nothing to stop me with installation.

well m8 have you set x-plore to display hidden files and folders . If you haven't open x-plore and press 0 key and tick all the four boxes you see . That's it ooh now you've all the required folders right . Have fun m8 ;)

When I go to the Quickmanager I do not get QuickOffice in the updates list. Is this trick still possible to do?

But i don't blame you for this thanks to questions being repeated all the time it's now almost impossible to go through such a vast thread . So , i'll repeat what i had discovered previously(already posted)
Several pages ago , i had a problem(i was the noob back then when this thread wasn't really this big) that things weren't the same for me .
I couldn't get the archive in the mentioned c:/private/200002c0 folder . So i tried to search everywhere for where the file had gone . After lot's of difficulty i found it was present in C:\Data\system\quickoffice\licences\quickofficepre mier(or adobeReaderLE)
Check it out . You'll see the "data.xml" and "key" file in that folder ;)

when i go to Upgrades page..it downloads/refresh the catalog but only Adobe Reader LE appears...can not see the various versions of QuickOffice...

the guys from quickoffice got smart.. On my E71 you can't download 5.0 anymore, first you enter your credit card information and only then , I assume, the download begins.. Damn...

Ive just tried it and got the same, it asks for card information before you can download anything.

momair , roa and digital , plz keep this in mind that you need to have v3 for this trick to work as has already been discussed . V4 has somehow disabled this trick . Try downgrading your software or download a cracked version from my thread ;)

Open any page . Airtel's page will open by default , click on send me id and pass via sms. Enter your phone no. In the field and you'll recieve an sms with details for your phone . Use details from your sms to login to their wifi free .
Then use this given procedure . Why take so much pain . Use the cracked version from my thread . It's cracked by binpda ;)

yes there is . It's called the double hacking method . In which your phone is hacked using two different methods and a previous or newer version hp installed to successfully complete swanky's procedure :)
Btw no news yet about that solution from swanky yet :)
But mind you this procedure has received complaints of causing system instability . The phone used to hang or give slow response for one fellow who tried it ;)

I just installed the latest 5.0.32 version, but I had to change the folder to put the files in. Instead of c:\system\data\Quickoffice\license_install\W910003 \ , I used WHI0003. I think Quickoffice changed it with the new version. I found this in my manifest.xml file, which is contained in the install.zip together with the key and data.xml . I don't know if it's the same with others, but if you're having problems with the new version, try it. Or alternatively, just take a look in the install.zip mentioned in the first page, and read the manifest.xml file, it contains the correct path.

There was v3.xx on my E90 but when I click purchase, it asked for credit card info too and this happened about a month ago.
So I only upgraded it to v4 but not v5 and have to happy with it....

I understand if you feel frustated answering same question over and over again. but it's also frustating for a regular "hacker" to figure out :angry: as far as i've understand it, it's not succeeded on E71 (prompted to enter visa card credentials) with the double hack method and E66 is same handset. so the only way for me is to install the cracked version? that's to booring!!
I'll figure out something and post back if i succeed.

Here's my problem, I've alreay dowloaded the catalogue, but when try to go to download the instalation it returns me the error "transaction failed". By what I have read it is related to a bad connection , is this right?
Because I'm suspecting of another problem,
Before I hacked my phone I've already downloaded the update and have to cancel in the end because I couldn't acess the Private Folder.
Do you have any idea if a kind of INI file is installed when you download the install.zip?

Or secman , both are available in sis format on this forum . Then follow the procedure . With caps turned off you'll be able to view private folders .
Then you should get it done .

This post is only meant for those who have hacked their phones (famous FCA patch) and will not work for the normal ones. If you are interested in hacking your phone then visit this thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

If you are leeching this tutorial to some othe forum, then please show some courtesy

Before you start, here are the requirements:

:arrow: You should have Quickoffice v3.x or v4.x installed. (For those who have v5.x installed, I will post the solution to remove it shortly)

:arrow: X-plore file manager is preferred. You can use any file manager of your choice but I have used X-plore in this tutorial.

:arrow: Your phone should have good internet connectivity (LAN, 3G, etc). You need to download approx 3.3 MB of data.

:arrow: On your phone make a folder E:\Quickoffice\ and copy the supplied quickofficePU_5016.sis file to it. We will install it later.

Lets do it

Start Quickoffice and scroll to Quickmanager tab by pressing joystick right. Then select "Updates & upgrades" by clicking it.

Confirm when prompted to connect to internet and select the access point. Now the catalog will get updated and presented to you. Select Quickoffice 5.0 by clicking on it.

When this page appears select Purchase (left softkey). You will then get prompted for Full license. Press OK (left softkey)

Now the following screen will be shown and downloading will start. When the download completes, you will be prompted to press 'Continue'. BUT DO NOT PRESS IT

Now without closing Quickoffice switch to X-Plore and browse to C:\private\200002c0\. This folder will contain a file named install.zip. Copy this file to the E:\Quickoffice\ folder. Now switch back to Quickoffice, cancel the purchase and close it.

:arrow: Step 2
If you want to get your copy of Adobe Reader LE 2.5 Retail absolutely free then proceed to this thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) now before you continue any further (You won't be able to do it later, we will continue from here once you are done installing Adobe Reader LE 2.5).
Now install the E:\Quickoffice\quickofficePU_5016.sis. After installation do not start Quickoffice.

:arrow: Step 3
Create the following folders & sub folders if they don't already exist:
c:\system\data\Quickoffice\license_install\W910003 \

Open up E:\Quickoffice\install.zip in X-plore and extract data.xml & key files to the folder we just now created above (Mark those files & press 4 to extract).

If your phone is N95 8GB then you need to restart your phone before starting Quickoffice.

All done! :D Now you have your very own full retail version of Quickoffice Premier v5.0. In case you ever format your phone or upgrade firmware just perform Steps 2 & 3. Preserve the E:\Quickoffice\ folder and its contents for future installations.

I have personally followed this procedure on my N73 & N95 successfully. On N73 for internet connectivity I used bluetooth (GnuBox) :D

Having blossom's problem as well. When I tried to use the one you had on your opensigned thread and Installer tells me "File Corrupted".

Im facing problem too for installing the quickoffice. I have preinstalled quickoffice version 3.8.12.0 and my N95 fw v20.0.015 and its already hacked. I've try all quickoffice version from this forum, but none of them are working. I always get unable to install when the installer is almost finish, its for version 5 only. but for the ver 4, this error popup when the installer starting to copy new files.

Use License_Install and not License install
You should 've 2 .reg files. Keep 0x2000CD0B.reg and delete the another one. If you open the reg ( 0x2000CD0B.reg ), you need to see this:

But the method which works is different in different cases
You can refer a few cases which have been posted in the past 41 pages

Well, I have an E71 - so the process was a bit different.

Do the normal SecMan process (pach.zip) with hellocarbide.

The install the signsis - to sign the v4.5.25.0.s60v3 version so you can execute it.

Install it - and then just follow the normal tutorial from there.
You won't get any more credit card requests :)

get to the piont:
1. you have both hacks running. (used patch and menu 1 from hellocarbide and sec off from secman)
2. download quickoffice.premier.upgrade.v4.5.25.0.s60v3.symbia nos9.1.unsigned_whit_crack-binpda.zip from [Only registered and activated users can see links]
if you have 5.0.32. try to simply install v4.5.25.0 over it. if it will not work try to install 5.0.16 and then install v4.5.25.0 again. should work - worked for me:)
3. follow strictly steps from [Only registered and activated users can see links] - especially use directory name W760003 !!!
4. enjoy!!

You need to run HelloCarbide (menu1) or RomPatcher (Disable caps) - and then you'll be able to see this (if you configured Y-browser to show hidden files & folders).

Read the thread. You need to override the current version of QO you have.

Well, I have an E71 - so the process was a bit different.

Do the normal SecMan process (pach.zip) with hellocarbide.

The install the signsis - to sign the v4.5.25.0.s60v3 version so you can execute it.

Install it - and then just follow the normal tutorial from there.
You won't get any more credit card requests :)

Did you remembered to enable some kind of Disable Caps method?
(show hidden folders and files which by default Symbian hides - just like the private folders on the C:\ drive which you need to get the install.zip from...)

Try to install basic quickoffice in phone memory.....
The updates only updates in phone memory.
If your basic quick office in memory card then it will show "update error"

Before you start, here are the requirements:

:arrow: You should have Quickoffice v3.x or v4.x installed. (For those who have v5.x installed, I will post the solution to remove it shortly)

:arrow: X-plore file manager is preferred. You can use any file manager of your choice but I have used X-plore in this tutorial.

:arrow: Your phone should have good internet connectivity (LAN, 3G, etc). You need to download approx 3.3 MB of data.

:arrow: On your phone make a folder E:\Quickoffice\ and copy the supplied quickofficePU_5016.sis file to it. We will install it later.

Lets do it

Start Quickoffice and scroll to Quickmanager tab by pressing joystick right. Then select "Updates & upgrades" by clicking it.

Confirm when prompted to connect to internet and select the access point. Now the catalog will get updated and presented to you. Select Quickoffice 5.0 by clicking on it.

When this page appears select Purchase (left softkey). You will then get prompted for Full license. Press OK (left softkey)

Now the following screen will be shown and downloading will start. When the download completes, you will be prompted to press 'Continue'. BUT DO NOT PRESS IT

Now without closing Quickoffice switch to X-Plore and browse to C:\private\200002c0\. This folder will contain a file named install.zip. Copy this file to the E:\Quickoffice\ folder. Now switch back to Quickoffice, cancel the purchase and close it.

:arrow: Step 2
If you want to get your copy of Adobe Reader LE 2.5 Retail absolutely free then proceed to this thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) now before you continue any further (You won't be able to do it later, we will continue from here once you are done installing Adobe Reader LE 2.5).
Now install the E:\Quickoffice\quickofficePU_5016.sis. After installation do not start Quickoffice.

:arrow: Step 3
Create the following folders & sub folders if they don't already exist:
c:\system\data\Quickoffice\license_install\W910003 \

Open up E:\Quickoffice\install.zip in X-plore and extract data.xml & key files to the folder we just now created above (Mark those files & press 4 to extract).

If your phone is N95 8GB then you need to restart your phone before starting Quickoffice.

All done! :D Now you have your very own full retail version of Quickoffice Premier v5.0. In case you ever format your phone or upgrade firmware just perform Steps 2 & 3. Preserve the E:\Quickoffice\ folder and its contents for future installations.

I have personally followed this procedure on my N73 & N95 successfully. On N73 for internet connectivity I used bluetooth (GnuBox) :D
Edit[aloycasmir] : This has been tested to work on quickoffice v3 basic version only.
So no more discussions for v4.0 or higher users in this thread

we never did get a solution to downgrading from office v5 and we have been requesting and it has been promised. Perhaps post can be amended to show that this is not possible if its not on offer.

Boring with .rar files, any great men don't you know? Many people as me don't have PC. X-plore works great with zip file but has problem with some rar files(2 MB or over), these apps you extract will damaged and get corrupted when installing in result. So we cann't do anything to test them too.
Very good if repack then attach or upload in zip files (no .rar inside), PLEASE.

That's good news. Also, when downloading the v5.0.32 in my case, there was a note stating there is a special offer if purchased now that I could upgrade to the v6 for free when it's released :)

hey guys..why search any old version when I have a newest (maybe..maybe not newest) ver of quick office premium (my version is 6.0.166)..full version and work..cracked by illusion

The new version you mention is a private beta and is a cracked version; there's even a newer version than 6.0.166:
QuickOffice Premier 6.0.236

The main difference which may be the reason why people still use v5 is that the trick mentioned in this thread lets you get a full license; so you're using the original app, not a cracked one (sometimes cracked apps create a lot of issues; specially when later you want to update to newer versions).

Use the version from this post ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) and do the usual procedure. But make sure you use the path as described in the new manifest.xml from v6.
