Method 1: Install Using PC Suite Mode

If you do not yet have PC Suite installed on your computer, click here. PC Suite is a software program that will help you easily install mobile applications on your device.

1. Start PC Suite on your PC.
2. Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
3. Select PC Suite Mode in the dialog box on the device.
4. Click the Get Connected button on PC Suite and follow the on-screen directions to enable the connection to your device.
5. Click the Install Applications icon on PC Suite.
6. Follow the on-screen directions to transfer and install the N-Gage application (.sisx) file from your desktop to your device. Be sure to select 'Mass Memory' or 'Memory Card' from the drop-down menu when choosing a destination on your device.
7. Start the N-Gage application on your device by clicking the N-Gage icon in the Applications folder.
8. Now you're ready to Create a Player Name and visit the Showroom.


Method 2: Install Using Mass Storage/Data Transfer Mode

1. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
2. On your device, select Data Transfer or Mass Storage Mode (refer to your manual if you do not know which mode to use to transfer files). Your device should now appear on "My Computer/Finder" as an external drive or removable disk.
3. Copy the N-Gage install file (.sisx) from your computer to a folder on your device's mass memory or memory card (such as the Other folder).
4. Disconnect your device from your computer.
5. From the File Manager application on your device (under the Tools menu), navigate to the memory card tab.
6. Open the N-Gage install file to start the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions on your device. It may take several minutes or more to install the application, so please be patient. You will be notified when the installation is complete.
7. Now you're ready to Create a Player Name and visit the Showroom.

Check your device software version
You have selected N95 as your device. If this is not your device, please select again. If you do have an N95 device, you may need to update your device software. Please follow these instructions here:

1. Switch your device display to standby mode as show in Figure (1) below.
2. Enter *#0000# on your device, as shown in Figure (2).
3. View your software version number on your device display, as shown in Figure (3).

If you have version 20.0.015 or higher as show in Figure (3), you are ready to download N-Gage.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to back up all data from your device (such as contacts, music, images, etc) before upgrading your device software. For more information on this, visit Nokia device software support.

bad news....

just got informed that ONE will be out on 1/6/2008...

The old ngage launcher failed to play the game and asks to install the new launcher in 5700...But while installing the new ngage launcher it says "Unable to install"..

In Asphalt Urban GT3 Trial:

* ONLY instant play mode :(
* ONLY one track(the same one that was in the Discover N-GAGE app in N95)
* ONLY one lap (even though 1/3 laps is displayed on the HUD)
* ONLY one car (Mustang GT)

Plus, installation with PC is complicated as hell.

I tried to install the application on N73.Its not compatible. Too bad Nokia has not released the N73 Version. Damn

I just reinstalled Space Impact Kappa Base (from First Access) on my N82 and it works great.

Yes, I gets points for making achievements in the game.
Same goes for System Rush which I just played some minutes ago.

Well, I have bought Asphalt from N-Gage. I bought it through PC and installed from there. I also downloaded and installed Creatures of the Deep Demo through the phone. When you install the demo through the phone, the game itself gives you the option of buying, but I prefer buying through PC. Asphalt 3 is the same style as the java game, but with graphics as the ones found in the "N-Gage demo" that came with the phone. It's enjoyable, but if you ask me which game is "better programmed", if Asphalt 2 for the original N-Gage or Asphalt 3 for N-Gage 2, I'd say Asphalt 2 is better (at least it seems much more "taken care of" when being programmed). The tracks are those found in the java game: honolulu, rome, etc., and it's the same style of "unlock races" and "customize car" as the java game. I'd say that Asphalt 2 for the original N-Gage had more depth. But of course, seeing it the other way around: I prefer paying 10 euro and having this asphalt 3 N-Gage 2.0, than paying 30 euro (the original price) for Asphalt 2 N-Gage 1.0. Now, I think Creatures of the Deep is a better purchase (and I've only played the demo, but I'll probably buy it now too... I don't want N-Gage 2.0 to die as 1.0 did.)

The new N Gage Installer doesnt ask me where to install, and, I believe it directly goes and installs on the Phone Memory [This is what I believe]. I am trying to use the N82 Version on my N82 and this is what happens.

Any suggestions?

But the N Gage Official ReadMe clearly states in bold and italics that it must be installed on the Storage Device.

Guess I'll have to let this go. :(

A SMALL HINT SO YOU WONT HAVE TO REINSTALL APP AFTER INPUTING WRONG PLAYER NAME, OR IF YOU JUST WISH TO CHANGE IT.

1. go to official ngage [Only registered and activated users can see links]
2. log on using current user data
3. change password ("password succesfully changed")
4. try to log in using mobile, after receiving error message you will be able to change your player details

I got my Creatures of the Deep N81 Promotion Activation Code for my N81 but now i can’t activate the game now on the Full Ngage. I got the Activation Code email on 19/02/2008, I have activated the game on N-Gage First Access, and then I when to Nokia Care then they formated my phone cos i forget my phone’s lock code, After that I activate the game again and then now I can’t activate the game on the full ngage.

It say “You have exceeded the maximum number of Activations allowed with this Activation code”. I need help.... My game how??

Hope Nokia will fix it asap, why will games have exceeded the maximum number of Activations? I got a N95 8gb too, If I update my N95 firmware then everything will be lost. N-Gage $18 for a game only can activate 2 times.. Thats not good.

Eehh... Bro.. I had to buy COTD twice... I activated the game once and once only. After updating firmware I had to reinstall... and,

I think there are some fools out there using our keys, stolen, maybe generated.

I wrote to NOKIA about it but for more than 2 months didn't receive any reply. NOKIA don't give an F-word about it. :confused:

Well mate if your PC-Suit informs you that it is the newest and only available upgrade than it is, but for your current product key.

You can upgrade to newer firmware but only after changing the product key. Changing it will you will loose your guarantee.

If you still want to do it use the magic SEARCH button "changing product key"
