My Worst Day WW2 is a 3D First Person Shooter game. It is February 1944, it is World War 2, German troops still occupy most of Europe.
As a saboteur you are sent into Norway, to destroy two large canons. This game will introduce you to a new way of playing a 3D First Person Shooter game. The story is perhaps not that unique, it is World War 2, and you are a saboteur put on the middle of a large island; your main target is to destroy two big German canons, which are a part of the German coastal defence in occupied Norway. But here the comparison with a standard war game stops.

You are not sent out on 10 or 15 standard linear, scripted missions. No, it is more like a real military mission: You are sent into the enemy territory without knowing too much about where the enemies are, and what they are up to. The intelligence is sparse, close to none. And you will see that you have to find out what is the biggest threat, and start your ‘mission’ from there. To put it simple, in this tactical game you have to kill many enemies on the island to be sure of success, and to be able to leave the island. If you play for increasing your score, you can try to hunt down most of the soldiers on the island.

Extra Bonus, many playing modes:

Standard mode:
This game can be played as standard game like play, save and get killed, then reload. You can only save 5 times each time you play.

The fun Arcade mode:
You can also play the game in the very addictive and fun arcade mode, where you start out with 3 lives, and can gain more life by collecting medicine, in the form of brandy bottles. There is also a Hi-Score table as this is a game you would want to play many times, since you will try to find different ways of solving your main mission.
There is no 'save' in this mode.
Play at 'Difficult' and you are a sniper!
Both in Standard and Arcade mode you can play as a 'real' sniper.

Lugaru (pronounced Loo-GAH-roo) is a third-person action. The main character, Turner, is an anthropomorphic rebel bunny rabbit with impressive combat skills. In his quest to find those responsible for slaughtering his village, he uncovers a far-reaching conspiracy involving the corrupt leaders of the rabbit republic and the starving wolves from a nearby den. Turner takes it upon himself to fight against their plot and save his fellow rabbits from slavery.


Lugaru’s primary feature is its unique combat system. Instead of relying on confusing button combinations to perform moves, Lugaru’s moves are all logical and context sensitive. For example, if an opponent aims a roundhouse kick at Turner’s head, you can crouch and then stand up under the attack to grab your assailant’s leg and kick him away. If you try and punch an opponent and he tries to throw you over his shoulder, you can crouch to roll painlessly out of the throw. This new combat system makes fights look and feel much more intense and believable than in any other game. You can see it in action with the gameplay movies above.


However, if straight close-range combat with hands, knives, swords and staves is not your style, you can also use stealth, but you have to be smart about it. If you cut a wolf’s throat, be sure to wipe the blood off your knife or another wolf might smell it. Enemy rabbits have very keen hearing, so be sure to walk quietly, and kill enemies before they make too much noise or run to alert their friends. Also, if they do bring their friends, don’t expect them to stupidly take turns fighting you. It is not unusual for one enemy to sweep your feet out from under you and another to smash you while you fall.



Because of the emphasis on gameplay, the graphics are designed to let the game run as smoothly as possible. It should run at full speed at full detail on any system with a 700 MHz processor and Geforce 3 or better graphics card. It should run acceptably on any system with a 300 MHz processor and Rage 128 or better graphics card. While models do not have as many polygons as in some new commercial games, there is an unprecedented amount of detail where it actually matters. If an enemy shatters his staff on your skull then your vision will unfocus slightly for a few seconds. Jumping through trees creates a shower of leaves (and snow if it is in a cold area). Landing an especially solid blow to the head can spatter blood on the wall and knock out a couple teeth. If you throw a knife into a wolf, blood will drip down his fur as he yanks out the knife and uses it against you. It is even possible to smash enemies so hard into walls that the surface cracks. Motion blur makes fast movement easier to track.

Flatspace II is a space trading game with a top-down viewpoint that includes rogue-like elements such as a choice of character and a revealing map. Unlike the first game though, Flatspace II includes artifact objects that can be obtained using a new a guild system. If you trade enough for example, you can get trading upgrades such as enhanced defences, and Alien Hunters can obtain special weapons and ships.


The Scarrid

There are two races in Flatspace II, human and scarrid. A state of cold war exists between the races, and although they share technology they cannot communicate and skirmishes between races are common. Both governments pay a bounty for killing and capturing members of the opposite race.

Like a true civilisation in space, the space stations in Flatspace II include factories, farms, houses, hospitals, schools and cities as well as pirate and alien bases. Any ship in the game can be flown by the player, and high ranking traders can purchase entire bases to get free repairs and medical treatment, and upgrades at cost price.


Goals

In Flatspace II there are many player goals, and the player can choose which to go for. One ultimate goal is to destroy all of the alien bases (or human bases if you decide to play as a scarrid). For this you will need advanced weapons and equipment, so obtaining that is your primary objective. Obtaining special objects or ships by boosting your various guild ranks is another goal, and there are official secrets to discover, and places to find that make exploration a goal. Money and equipment is still an important goal and lots of doors to exploitation have been closed.


Balance

Another big change in Flatspace II compared to the first game is the game balancing. Unlike the first game there are no unfair or random events that can instantly kill the player and the game is less punishing to beginners. A new difficulty system limits damage to your ship, upgrades are more affordable, and a massive amount of play testing ensures that the different player activites are much more evenly balanced than before.
