Before you start, here are the requirements:

:arrow: You should have Quickoffice v3.x or v4.x installed. (For those who have v5.x installed, I will post a solution to remove it shortly)

:arrow: X-plore file manager is preferred. You can use any file manager of your choice but I have used X-plore in this tutorial.

:arrow: Your phone should have good internet connectivity (LAN, 3G, etc).

:arrow: On your phone create the folder E:\QuickofficeProducts\ and copy the desired SIS files (attached to this post) to it. We will install them later.

Lets do it

Start Quickoffice and scroll to Quickmanager tab by pressing joystick right. Then select "Quickoffice Products" by clicking it.

Confirm when prompted to connect to internet and select the access point. Now the catalog will get updated and presented to you. You can select any product you wish..Lets begin with Quickcalendar :D
Select Quickcalendar by clicking on it.

When this page appears select Purchase (left softkey). You will then get prompted for Full license. Press OK (left softkey)

Now the following screen will be shown and downloading will start. When the download completes, you will be prompted to press 'Continue'. BUT DO NOT PRESS IT

Now without closing Quickoffice switch to X-Plore and browse to C:\private\200002c0\. This folder will contain a file named install.zip. Rename this file to the respective product name (Quickcalendar.zip in this example) and move it to the E:\QuickofficeProducts\ folder. Now switch back to Quickoffice, cancel the purchase and close it.

Repeat the above procedure for all the products you want to download. We'll install all of them later.

Once you are done downloading all the files, you will have all the product zip files in the E:\QuickofficeProducts\ folder. Now you are ready to install any product you wish. Continuing with our example we'll install E:\QuickofficeProducts\quickcalendarLM_s60_3.sis now. After installation do not start it.

So continuing with our example for Quickcalendar we create the following folder & sub folders:
c:\system\data\quickoffice\license_install\WA10003 \

Now open up the zip file of the respective product (E:\QuickofficeProducts\Quickcalendar.zip) in X-plore and extract data.xml & key files to the folder we created above (Mark those files & press 4 to extract). Now you can start the application.

Hurray! Now you have your full retail versions of all the Quickoffice products. In case you ever format your phone or upgrade firmware just perform Steps 1 & 2. Preserve the E:\Quickoffice\ folder and its contents for future installations.
(Preserve the zip files as it is I'll post an installer to automate the whole process soon)

I have personally followed this procedure on my N73 & N95 successfully. On N73 for internet connectivity I used bluetooth (GnuBox) :D

@ swankyleo: Thanks for your great work! I successfully upgraded to QO 5 from my legit (but free :P ) copy of QO 4.5. Due to the new Quickmanager, I cannot download the other products and I feel that the company can change the format of install.zip anytime (they may choose to implement encrypted authentication files). I wonder if you'll be able to publish a proper uninstallation for QU 5 (or just the new Quickmanager). If not, that's still cool with me, I'll just format my phone and download all applications before they make any changes to install.zip files!

The code is the same for all Quickweather (=Handyweather) installations and BTW it was already posted here.

It seems that EPOCWARE (the maker of the program) is randomly disabling some IMEI from receiving updates (they know your IMEI when you connect for the update).

For some it works (including me :) ) and for others it doesn't...

Here's a strange thing... Quickweather is now working again... I didn't do anything (other than attempting to reuse the data.xml & key files as before). Maybe it just takes a bit of time to lookup the details?

Does anyone think it would be possible to upgrade to Handy Weather 5 since it's registered your IMEI & IMSI numbers already?

i have downloaded quick secure,quickexpense, and adobereader and have moved their key and data files to their corresponding folders but whenever i open these apps they ask for a unlock code can anybody tell whats the problem

I'm having the same problem...it keeps asking for the unlock code. I installed the sis file from the computer because it wouldn't work from x-plore. Could that be the problem?

I'm an idiot. Make sure you use an underscore for the license_install folder. I think I had a space there. Now its working great! Thanks to the OP!

And there is Rus already on the list, and a seperate link is for PDF...

Btw... I tried to install a few QuickOffice apps, but always got update error...
I only have QuickOffice v4.5 (Think its BiNPDA crack) - So i'm gonna reinstall that as i cant see anything in app mgr what could be the problem...
Any ideas? Or could a format possibly be needed? (Not that bothered about formatting, except for Fifa 08 & its licence & status on it)

Note to #45: I think that some of these are in fact Epocware apps... Like QuickClock is HandyClock... Dictionaries seem to install fine though...

So if you want to install Calendar/Expense/Clock - Just get the Epocware version and use the keygen...

Ok, Did have Quickoffice 5 but ive just formatted my phone now (Fresh start!) so now im back to the Quickoffice basics.

Ive followed every instruction here, created all the folders and downloads etc etc. But when I get to the bit to install the files, it just says 'Update Error'. (Basically i cant install it and cant move any data files etc as its not even installed).

Anyone else had this prob? Please help me.

hi i have Quickoffice and Adobe installed, but now whe i tried to download the quickdicts or any other apps and they ask first of all about the credit cards. Then you have to enter the credit card number and stuff like that before starting the download. I think they had change the steps so that anyone cant download any app. This is sad.

could someone please upload their the two other files that comes beside the installer that's been downloaded (data.xml and key file)

doesn't work on E51 new firmware! the subfolder in license_install for quickoffice (W910003) keeps disappearing all the time and then the app requires the unlock code. Damn! I hate re-formating my phone again.
Hope someone finds a solution soon.

hey guys, why bother using the quickoffice products (apart from quickoffice 5.0, of course), when all other apps are the same as those of EPOCWARE (HANDY....). As a matter of fact, they are actually the vendors of those products.
one thing would be extremely desirable, and that is to find a way to make quickoffice 5.0 work with the newest firmwares, and, if possible, get the Swanky's uninstaller.

Install QuickOffice basic v4.x or v3.x to PHONE memory, not to Card..... so upgrade can be done!.... if installed on memorycard, mostly update error appear.

1. downgrade your E90 to v200 or v7.40 and try swankyleo method again...
2. downgrade QO original to v4.x and update <--- never try this way :sorry:

QuickWeather unfortunately shows me, "Your Weather Service subscription has expired" did everything according to instructions! :(

dont delete anything from anywhere, dont create new folders on C:/systems/data , let the reg files be there....

now, overwrite the data.xml and key file to each folder of the products on:
C:/data/systems/quickoffice

it works fine on my E71

It seems that they changed their method and now we can't get these applications :(

just wanted to attest these are pretty apps.
have tried using quickoffice and quickcalendar before.
haven't tried the downloads here yet though -

Now I have $1553.74 TT worth of FREE and FULL applications ( including Quickoffice and Adobe Reader ) :)

Even QuickWeather works. The thing is you need to get these before getting the latest QuickOffice.

Also, applications like :

* Quick Weather
* Quick Calendar
* Quick Expense
* Quick Clock

Will not work if you have any 'Epocware' products of the same application installed.

hello people ... i have the buildin version of quickoffice 4.1.? sth on my n78 ...
i tried to upgrade with the method by internet install.zip etc ... put i have the "payment truble" ... thats why i installed that version of defconx ... so that can i upgrade with the internet method without payment f**ck... but!!!!! when i try to install this version my phone crash and it needs hard format ...!!!!! i tried several tips but nothing ... i have drakarius hack 3 installed ...

*ps even if i dont restart phone and try to upgrade without restart after the installation ... the update catalog fails to retreive ...

I wan't to upgrade to basic edit (10kb). The problem is i don't know were to put manifest.xml and WFO0003.qif (the files i get from zip) to activate the edit feature on quickoffice 3.1. Someone have an idea?

Use siscontents and extract the quickoffice you installed (e.g. quickoffice 5). You'll get the folders were the quickoffice files are placed on c: drive (private, resource and others). Simply using a file explorer with all file caps trace does files and delete them all. Restart your phone and you'll have quickoffice removed. Works with other apps that can be installed but not removed.
