Set after first boot better all Settings(over Menubutton) back to Standard.

Please report exactly what work, what not, with which ttsystem(3,5) Device.

Instructions:
short and simple:

for x20:
Copy all from (Original) navcore_8.002.9117.gox30.cab to Storage
replace ttsystem with SE_ttsystem.8.002.9117.rar

for all other Devices:
copy all from navcore_8.002.9117.gox30(or Basicpack) to Storage
replace (or add) ttsystem with one which you like

! The ttgo.bak is only a example what you should do, copy & paste your own real ttgo.bif Content to .bak and change Versionsnumber to the latest official Navcorenumber from your Device! (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2048649&postcount=1309)

You need now the for V8 dlls adapted "EasyuseTool" Version. (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2086254&postcount=58)

I have no BT Phone cant test it.

No one need to ask me works it for this or that Device I CANT KNOW IT, I CAN NOT MADE A BETTER WORKING VERSION WITHOUT A DEVICE or minimum someone with Brain and Time to test multiple different Versions and exactly Reports.

TTuser, on my GO 910 everything looks good, handsfree, navigation, but the new features are not there and should depends on new map.
Speetch recognition is better than ever and very fast it is like the previous version V7.481 but I did not test the mapshare update and the TMC yet. But up to now every thing is working.

I have downloaded the original nav 8.002.9117, extract the archiv first on my PC. Then i formated the SD and copy all new files from to the card.
Listen, i have a TomTom One V2 (First edition)
The nav works, first fixed the bootsoftware, then starting and wait for
activate a card.
The next step i copy my WCE715 without the cspeed-files to the SD and aktivate the Card with the tool : "RunMeAllAutomatic.cmd" Point 1
The last step i patched ttsystem with the Systempatcher and copy this file back to SD
Starting with RESET the TomTom (holding more then 15 seconds the Startbottom)
Now TomTom One V2 starting fine , find the Card so i can update the card and update some voices... thats not all, because i pached the TomTomHomeDLL with Tool "RunMefor DCT.cmd" Point 7, after i have copyed this line in this batch:(position after :pd and under the old line with funktion for 7-`.dll) and after i have copyed automatic with TomTomHome the file for the emulation...( in TomTomHome- put the the mousepoint on emulatorpicures, it started the download for files needed.)

After starting the GO 700 seems to work. I can see the new menu style. The settings menu ist working correct. Sat fix is there, so the GO 700 locates the current position.
But when i push the button to navigate to an adress, the GO 700 hangs up and makes a reboot and after that still no navigation is possible.

Yes...I have lost my favorites from my NA 7.15 maps and the Google Maps 'send to' option no longer works with HOME anymore.

On my Go910, I installed "navcore_8.002.9117.gox30.cab" and I Patch "TTsystem" with Tools in dos for that my Map WCE v7.15 can be activate.

So, "TT910 works good and the brigtness is OK" with this method.

Unfortunaly, with this method, I don't have "Caricon", "Quickacessbutton" and "Voice Input"

Any suggestion with this info for have Brigtness Ok and others features in one TTsystem file for Go 910 (x10) ??

Hmm.. of course the new navcore works with a new format in mapsettings.cfg
I thinks that`s the reasen why there is an incompatibility to older maps.
With the new navcore i can`t see cards in TomTomHome. (The Cards from TomTom to buy and download)
My own wishes: TomTom gives new Cards ( Updated Version 8.xx ???) and Updated Software TomTomHome or plugin to make compatibility with firmware 8.x

Ok TTuser, i tried your system1 file with new boot S5.5000X, on GO510.
and now my GO will not boot. nothing is happening. DEAD.

Paper clip did not work, cant run clean-flash as the unit will not boot.

And It's Ok for the moment, All features is in Menu, the brightness seems to be Ok because i can move the cursor and the brightness change.

I test More tomorow when my Go Will be on its car support.

WHAT MEAN YOU WITH MY system1 it is not my file its a original TT file i rename it only to save all. original name is system if you use it update you the boot. i have never say update all the boot, what mean you why i rename it, you can never go back, you need a ttsystem to use the **** device read the **** readme and you see it "You need also a ttsystem!!"

good, strange is only now, with files from 1. receive you not the new boot,;) because i rename extra the system file, have you rename it or use before original .cab?

bytemen, you use a complete original version + mappatch? We need only infos about work/work not with which ttsystem if you use one of the changed ttsystems.

usefull Infos about where Problems exist are: TTS, normal voice/ Sounds, Lineout, PC-Connection, poweroff correct, VoiceInput,...

with v8 map correction now works with australian maps thanks ttuser hopefully mapshare will now be avaliable to australia i still have no voice input for map directions any idea ttuser

I copied over the ASR from the original navcore_8.002.9117.gox30.cab. It's working fine.

Copied over in this order: (I deleted previous ASR)

1. navcore_SE_8.002.9117_basicpack
2. SE_ttsystem.8.002.9117.for.gox10.emux30
3. ASR from original navcore_8.002.9117.gox30.cab

that is exactly what i have done bu it will not work i also had problem with v 7481 with no voice input as well but if i go back to v7221 voice input works fine i am at a loss to work this out very glad map correction is Finlay working on Australia maps have tried it and it does work so all good there just need to fix this i might delete all files format the tomtom and reinstall everything again just to see if that makes a difference

Always impossible to link my go 910 with TOMTOM HOME, he says to me that I do not work with good version??? an idea. Because I would like I shall update my quickfix. As for voice to computeur it works perfectly well at home.

TThome does still give the error “This version of the navigation software does now work on your device model.” but will still download Mapshare and all other updates.

In order to get everything working OK I did have to format the drive and start from scratch using the following steps:

1) Formatted the drive after performing a backup
2) Installed the original Navcore 8 from TomTom, rebooted to allow firmware update then removed all files
3) Installed Basic Pack without ASR and ttsystem
4) Installed ttsystem not for gox10 x30 Emulation (version for gox10 did not allow brightness control)
5) Installed ASR files from original Navcore 8 from TomTom
6) Installed Maps, Voices and Art
7) Rebooted and reset to factory settings (this allowed voice input to work)
8) Put all settings back to desired preferences.

This may have been excessive steps but it worked great for me..

Thats the reason why TomTomHome tell you you would have a wrong version of firmware.
ignore this message and you can copy pictures voices or other feathers. But only new card cant reading from the server.
You can edit the ttgo.bif and enter this:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7162
thes the Message ist not coming and you can also see the Cards, but then you could not work with the emulator.
I irgnore the message and wait for update TomTomHome and given news Card version 8.x

TTS doesnt work on OneXL, tried 1+2,3,4,5

I used the TTsytem forgox.10 emux.30 on my 910 and replaced it with the current one (step 5 as TTuser described). After a long soft reset my 910 freezed while starting up. Several resets didn't change this. I'm currently using TTuser 7.481.9086 for GO910 and everything was working fine. I was able to connect the 910 to my pc and replace TTsystem with the previous one and now everything's back to normal. I saw JLhardwick's procedure (few postings above this) and think this is the route I should follow as wel.

3 questions:
* how do you execute a real Hard Reset?
* how do you format a 910 drive?
* do you need other maps than 7.15 for the lane navigation option?

Somebody mentioned V8 maps are needed for lane navigation but if you Google tomtom v8 maps you won't find a single clue about new maps...

Today, All It's OK. RDS-TMC-TTS-Voice Input-Brightness etc

But I detect a problem with my go910.
When I detach my Go from my computer, All It's Ok
I turn Off my tomtom when navigation it's finish (Normal)
And when I turn On for navigate, I big probleme of sound appear. The sound is Slow !!!

when I make a hard reset or connect TT in computer then the sound go back OK but only once.

ASR has nothing to do with TTS!!!! ASR is since years bad for Ones, dont have a ASRFolder.

ddbx, if you need always a fresh TT not a sleepy, create a file " poweroff " without Extension in root. With the file sleep the Device not more, its always real dead and boot, fresh clear.

I have verified the version that I used and it is the not for x10 version.
I do not use the remote so I dug it out of the closet and tested. It does not work but I'm not surprised since this version was meant for newer TT's that use bluetooth for their remote and the older models do not.

Just installed it on my Go710, works fine (except the known bugs likebrightness).
When I turn on my TomTom i get the message /!\ SE Version what does that mean? Never got that before.

I've used 1, 5 & 8.

For a 720 need you minimum 1. + a ttsystem, you can use the original +mappatch(last in List) and you get normal x20 Menustyle if you need the x30Emulation can you now only use 3. ASR Folder can you use from 7.481 Files are equal.

All ttsystem are of course already Mappatched.

I used it today for my trip to work and back and - generally - it works OK on my 710. But I also had some freezes - one today morning when first connecting it (incl. TMC receiver) and also this afternoon...again when first connecting. After the "warm reboot" which followed the freezes the device works.

Any v8 maps in sight already? I can't wait using the lane assist ;)

After a lot of trial and error I can verify that for the older units (original go, one and rider) the patched version freezes when entering adress (both x20 and x30 version) so until TTuser or some other smart person figures out what`s wrong use the original file.

Have anybody gotten TTS to work with the older units? It`s working fine on a 910 so my guess is that the freeze problems is in connection with voices.

I used the TMC today and all informations were exacts. The navigation was fast, MP3, VR OK, Handsfree OK. The only thing not working was the remote control but I was not surprised because new TT used a Bluetooth remote control, and the brightness always at 100%....
Is there anybody who had tried a Bluetooth remote control with a TT GO910?
The GPS was working perfectly and better than ever.
The new featchers should need new V8 maps....

Good news is i revived my GO510. :D

Just incase someone is having the same problem as i do.
Erros:
#1: Unable to store map, file access error.
#2: Freeze and rebote after entering the street address
#3: Computer voice not found, in my case Susan.

I found out that everytime i have the computer voice the unit will freeze and reboots, nothing you can do to fix it. exept removing the card. and hard reset

If i dont select the computer voice the any of the version from v7.480, v7.481 and v8.002 will work just fine with no errors, but i miss the MP3 and TTS. Phot and all the good staff.

My next try is if someone can upload the original liquendoTTS from GO910 so i can test them. and post back all the needed files from system to try.

Unfortunatly it does not work with GO 700
It used 1+3
After starting the GO 700 seems to work. I can see the new menu style. The settings menu ist working correct. Sat fix is there, so the GO 700 locates the current position.
But when i push the button to navigate to an adress, the GO 700 hangs up and makes a reboot and after that still no navigation is possible.

same problem with 1+2 on my GO 700.

Now I've got my Go 700 working with 8.002.

I did:

Gone back to previous 7.221 (which was working without problems, had a full backup).
Copied 1+3 over the 7.221 files (without deleting anything)
Copied ASR folder (with all files in it) in root directory
copied all csspeech-files in map directory (which were not there before, because I don't need the feature "voice recognition" for navigation)

Only when I shutdown de device and start it up again than the sound play’s very slow.
When I take out the sd card and put it back in or do a hard reset than the sound is good again.

The steps I take to let it work for me:

1: backup the card and format it
2: installed Basic Pack without ASR and ttsysem
3: installed x30 emu (not for go x10)
4: installed the ASR files from the original tomtom navcore 8
5: put back maps, voices and the art folder
6: reset and done
7: patch the home dll (still got the error message, but all works)

I thinks that`s the reasen why there is an incompatibility to older maps.
With the new navcore i can`t see cards in TomTomHome. (The Cards from TomTom to buy and download)
My own wishes: TomTom gives new Cards ( Updated Version 8.xx ???) and Updated Software TomTomHome or plugin to make compatibility with firmware 8.x

How is it to read the **** readme:confused::angry:, you need first the new adapted Version and then mean "cant find" found dll is already patched.

I downloaded the nav8 dll and the copied your patched dll to HOME. The emulator works fine now however Google Maps 'send to' doesn't work anymore. Before I would use 'Send to' while HOME was loaded and the longitude/latitude comes up where I can choose to save it as a favourite/navigate to but it no longer does this. HOME just sits there like nothing is happening.

Everything seems like it works, only weird things are than when it boots up it says "SE VERSION" with a triangle and an exclamation point. My favorites are all gone too. Is this normal for this Navcore?

Now numbers (time remaining, actual time, speed etc..) are shown correctly.

3. Emu x30.
4. Ttsystem for gox10 x20 Emu.
He works all but the Italian TTS (Paola), which used with the tomtom ver 7,221.
There is possibly a crack TTS + compatible with the version 8?

I discovered that the old remote control works with Mobilnova player but when exiting from Mobilnova the TT software is no longer responding to the original none bluetooth remote control!....So the hardware driver exist but not used.

I have also noticed that the new navcore is slower than my old one and the icon is around 100 yards behind my position.. Anybody else having this problem???

Just an update, I replaced my LoquendoTTS already patch with unmodified one, i download from Russell thread, and all the error i was getting are history, gone, bye bye. no more freezing or reboots.
I also replace the ttsystem for goX10 with NOT for goX10, and now i can adjust the brighness and play my MP3, computer voice, BT etc.

after i downloaded the ttsysteem i copied it to the ttsystem_patcher folder and run the .bat file, then i moved the patched to root sd card.

soooooo many questions.

REMEMBER this is only an official Navcore for the new x30 series which carry v8 maps.

TTuser is working on trying to get it to function on older units/older maps so I'm not at all surprised everythings not perfect.

TomTom will eventually release a Navcore v8 for older units/maps but I don't think it will be for a few months yet.

Mediacenter comes with a own Driver for remote. I try short to use it, works not, is only made for mediacenter. Priority is for me a Solution for all (include me) with a gox10 where the original Version not work and need to use 4. 5. with Brightness Problem. I found a working way, need now only to pack it in a "easy to use professional" way for all. (Problem is the Device mount whyever not the Flash, inside is stored the Displaysettings, Settings, Reason for broken display)

Now solved all my problems on my GO720

What I did

Moved all my files from my TOMTOM into a folder on my desktop.
Installed the V8 navcore on to the blan drive of the 720 using the original untouched files.
Copied all my files back over from my backup folder and didnt overwrite any.
Replaced the TTSYSTEM with the V7 maps one from TTUser and it is now working 100% and no slow down either.

Yes of course search it your Device to activate Maps, and patch ttsystem, all normal. pix is to tiny, i think you have a Cardreader, without a Card is the Drive available and it search a ttsystem and this give a Error, klick weiter, not really a Problem. if it found only one drive with a ttsystem use it this drive automatic, if it nothing or to many drives with a ttsystem find, need you to enter right driveletter alone. at all no problem, and nothing what you should confuse.

On the issue of navigating by address - City centre, Street and house number, Crossing or intersection - these all cause freeze for 1/2 minute followed by reboot, but Postcode navigation works.

The same issue I find also on V7.480.9084 so but V7.221.8572 works fine with no freezing.

This is on TomTom V1 classic, bootloader version 5.05.

Gna...I just can't the brightness bring to work on my 710. As some said I tried using a "non-x10"-ttsystem but then the touch screen seems to be inverted when touching. Anyone has a solution for this?

i use the easyusetool normally like ever and the older version without the run me for automatic has worked fine, i don't understand why the batch file doesn't find my meta.txt

the no meta.txt is a falsepositiv message, this can not change the directory correct, can not run the keygen, strange is only why it try it 3 times, normally only one time, you try really delete all, extract new? If you break it up, and a dump file exist run in possible not the right way trough the batch and something like this would happens. try to put a space in a foldername in mainpath to the Folder or if one exist try remove all space(works in both case by me)

On My little toy GO 510 I have also tried the following:
- Complete Original Version (deleted ASR folder. Otherwise it gets blocked when selecting language)
- File number 3 (ttsystem emux30)
- patched Home dll

The result is : Booting faster. GPS signal much better and faster.TTS and Brightness work fine. Favourites disappeared. PC connection is fine but TomTom Home won't work.

I have a GO 910, I insalled #3, its perfect at the first boot, everything is OK.
Whe I stop the TT and when I restart, everything looks good, but the speed of the sound is devided by FOUR. Very slow speech, and I must reset the TT to recover normal sound speed.
My parameters are
App 8002 (9117/080328) OS: 164445
64 Mo de RAM (disponible: 22.7 Mo)
GPS v1.21, Lancer 5.3006

I got the same slow speech when I was using previously the not_GOX10 TTsystem.
That's wy I was using the GOX10 TTsystem emu X30.
What is wrong with me?

ddbx, if you need always a fresh TT not a sleepy, create a file " poweroff " without Extension in root. With the file sleep the Device not more, its always real dead and boot, fresh clear.

SE versions work on TT1 XL except NO TTS (computer voices) - and device double reboot.

Original ttsystem + Mappatch and v7 map also works with Human Voices (no spoken street name) and .ogg file Sounds - does not double reboot.

I also have this problem on a GO 510
with TTS
and the boot version is 5.3006

Not all x10 have this Problem and need this way.

The maps work well on the TOMTOM

but when I install HOME it first tells me :

This version of the navigation software does not work on your device model

I click Ignore.

Then I let it download the navcore and I run the new auto Patch DLL from TTUser, it says ONE OK, and ONE Can't Find File, then it says press any key to continu.

Then When I run the emulator in tomtom Home again, it fails to load the map.

what did I do wrong ?

Installed on Tomtom One XL device:
(a) 1, 2 & 8 plus poweroff file on root, system works fine, no error message, no TTS, double boot, switch off device the 3rd time.

Exactly what I'm experiencing. Sounds like very slurred speech. Didn't happen with x30 for go10.

I had to turn on and shut the unit off twice this afternoon, before the slow speech disappeared. :(

Scooter, help me man, i'm getting crazy over here, TTUser is certainly good, But I can't seem to understand his english and sequence.

I have tomtom 520 and I'm using the 7.15 maps for western and central europe.

I seemed to have followed everything correctly. I get confused about the copy sequence for the TTS

and my ASR is not working on the tomtom after the upgrade. Even thought I copied the ASR folder.

So let get this straight, the two new features "Lane Assist" and "IQ Routes" will only work with V8 maps?

He (TTUser) means, delete everything on the external SD Card or better, re-format it.
Then copy in sequence the TTS files (associated files with your Voice files), then the Voice files (Kate, Amelia, etc whichever you are using), then the firmware files (loquendo folder) from the Navcore SE 8.002.9117 basic pack.
Once finished, install 1, 2 or 3 (whatever suits your model) if it works, Copy the ASR (for the TTS)

Ok, my problem was that My TOMTOM Was NOT enabling my SD Card to be read by the system.

So This is Very IMPORTANT, if you can't read the SD Card on your system, then TOMTOM HOME will not be able to read it either.

When I installed the original navcore 8 Version, WITHOUT the SE part, Everything worked, and the TOMTOM was able to read the SD Slot.

I ditched the easy tools and used each tool individualy.


TTS, ASR, Everything works nicely with navcore 8 and TomTomHome.

The ONLY things worth noting down are :
-TomTom Home says that the version is not the correct one for my device (Go 520) but I can skip the message.
-Routing and IQ do not show anywhere, even thought I have version 8 (navcore) but Maps 7.15

I think u need to install version 8 map for those icons to be visible.

I've put as mentioned a file named powerof at the root of the sd card
The sound is perfect

But : when you drive, the gps position is affected
the position indicated by the gps is a bit behind You

The traffic server is not down. I put a backup of the 7.481 version on my TT720T and HDT works fine again. Also the 'original' file from the tomtom website navcore 8.002 (http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/navcore_8.002.9117.gox30.cab) has no problem with HDT but that version is also with the look and feel of half navcore7 and half navcore8.

Would you say original Version works, any SE ttsystem works not, is right, because i think most have no, or can not use, new HDT and i cut the support/Initialization for GPRS out. I would need to made all new.

Tested on my Go 910, results as follows:

On my Go I built Navcore 8 from scratch by formating it and copying TTuser's files 1 and 3 and ASR from original Navcore8 to hard disk followed by maps, voices and so on. All firmware updates done.

Basically navcore 8 works much better and faster than 7.221. This is the first version voice input works with acceptable speed. Brightness and TMC work fine, too.

But there are still some problems to fix:

- after power cycle voice output slows down (as already described in former posts). Only way to fix is to do a long reset.
- compass does not work, points to any direction, but not to the correct one.
- light sensor does not work properly, so automatic day/night view change is unusable
- map share currently does not work, don't know, if it's a server problem, but TT home says, wrong navcore for my Go 910.
- automatic power on when docking Go910 to car mount does not work anymore

But overall the best version for now, thanks TTuser!!

ALL MAPS 7.15 and less DO NOT HAVE the needed info to use the x30 features... You will need the maps released with the x30 units and as none are available then the extra map features WILL NOT WORK

Installed the last gox10...an error appear and then all right with the readme.txt....

Ok music...ok TTS with "loquendoTTS pack zip" and then VoiceTTS zip...ok light display...

But:

1.Now on the configuration appear a new icon: CAR PREFERENCES...What's it? It is not selectable...it is in grey color....and it is the first time appear...

2.No Voice Input....I installed Original cab then basic then ASR then LoquendoTTS then VoiceTTS then ur last ttsystem...

For the record I did have TTS working (big Susan) with the previously installed 7.16. Have tried to keep the same Loquendo files from 7.16 as well as replace the files from the "basic NAV 8" rar but no joy...

Can anyone tell me where I can get download (3) from post #1 for my GO 700.

I managed to get the other files I need before the links went down.

I have prob in installting the new version Navcore SE 8.002.9117. Every thing works fine.
mp3, TTS, caricon, etc...

But the problem is if i try to navigate using street and address tomtom freezes. if i try to use navigate with postcode it works.

i am using UKROI 715 map.

Any help much appreciate.

Thanks for the new version. Now most of my problems are fixed. I had to install ttn to get flash folder. now it works almost perfect, but compass still points to the north no matter which settings selected.

SE versions work on TT1 XL except NO TTS (computer voices) - and device double reboot.

Original ttsystem + Mappatch and v7 map also works with Human Voices (no spoken street name) and .ogg file Sounds - does not double reboot.
Hello, how did you get it to play ogg sounds? I have tried file 1+2 and 1+3, but if I want to play a ogg sound for a POI warning the xl shows me "no pictures found" and i have to do a reset.

Still fighting with Home, tried to execute the Easyusetools but for a N00B they're not so easy to use. I keep getting "no meta.txt found" when I try to patch the V8 dll...

Any help for this?

First, thanks for your quick reponse and all your hard work on this! Navcore 8 is running smooth on my 910 so you really did a good job there!

This is what I did to get Home 2.2 working for Navcore 8:

1. I found the dll of TT home which is 8-002-9117-1.dll.
2. I copied the directory "insert meta here" to C:\
3. I copied the dll into that directory plus the deviceid.txt
4. I copied runformeallautomatic into that directory as well
5. After entering the command through DOS I got the error "no meta.txt" found
6. I tried it with runformedct but this has the same result

:roflmao: no wonder, keep your hands from the Files and Folders, this works only in exactly this File/Folderstructure. Extract the rar and use it how it is. You can normally run it from any place, not needed to run it from c: direct.

* I choose option 7 "patch home dll's"
* Can't find dll

I've put the dll inside "insert meta" dir as described in the readme.

Would you read the readme would you see "cant find" mean dll already patched (since a few days see you this description on screen)
For Option 7. need you nothing to copy to somewhere, the name is not useless Search Home dlls and patch each, this mean it search alone, its made for simplest(easy) use how possible, if a dll exist in Folder "insert....." patch it with all 7 Options the dll automatic.

Runforme.DCT changed the V8 dll indeed but if I replace it with the original one Tomtom Home keeps coming up with the "illegal version" message.

well...for the Voice input...maybe u know it but....

The voice input doesn't work if on ur map folder there is not:

1) cspeech_XXX.dat
2) cphoneme.dat
3) crpoi.dat

and they change with every single map...

So for example i've got Italian map 7.15 that hasn't got these files...but if i put on my SD the Benelux map 7.15 that has the files....magically appears voice input...
I tried it on a go720 and now i'm going to try it on a go510 too...
So it is not a problem of v8xx...

So can someone upload all the 3 files for all the maps?

I used 1.+5. and after reboot ASR, TTS.
Map Western_and_Central_Europe v.715 (worked fine before)
Brightness OK, car icon ok, fm transmitter ok,Voice input so so, Home ok, I didn't test other functions but it seems to be ok.

i did get the regular voices to work, but now TTS does not work. I have TTOne New Edition. if someone got TTS to work on their tomtom one, please post instructions.

your code is a fake or something. I search real codes with google, use same map.
8.0 with zipcodefile: Code found, works all
8.0 without zip, only mapsource: only first 4 code include, of course find you nothing
try same with 7.221, both exactly equal result

Finally tested on GO 510!! Voice Input ok with Maps that has cspeech_XXX.dat

So now i'm waiting for v8 maps or a cspeech_ITA.dat for my map Italian 6.75.1430 ora 7.15

that postcode was just from my mind but the point is when I input full postcode TT doesn't recognize it. TT recognize just only the area from first 4 digits e.g. OX18 and the rest you have to find by search town or street. I use postcodes very often so...
... And the standard computer voices - that's strange, I can't even download this from Tomtom.
I've tried basic pack, version for X10 emu20 and emu30...
I don't know why it doesn't work for me but I not give up 8-)

yes good and in which time realize you you have to use the zip postalcode files to have full codes? The Map support only first 4 digits with any navcore. I waste extra time to test it with and without zip and 2 Navcores and you believe it not.

how did you get it installed on you 700 i have problem when i want to navigate to adres or city it freezes and reboots?

hmmm....it seems not to work on my go710. Clean installed 1, 5 and 8, but when I start my machine it freezes after somr of the first installation screens (choose language, set time etc.). Also all the screen buttons are messed up, the OKE button is on the bottom right, but I have to press the screen on the top right to activate the button.
Eventually my go freezes saying: choose map. Anyone can help or has the same problems?

tried it with 3 (SE_ttsystem.8.002.9117.emux30) now and it seems to work.....wheee!

For a GO920 is it sufficient to just replace the files in the root folder?

Has anyone got V8 running without error on this device and, if so, which files did you replace.

I could manage to work computer voices (you need to have voice folder in Loquendo folder e.g. Simon folder inside EnglishGB folder + EnglishTE6.9.lde file in Loquendo folder + LoqEnglishx.x.so files in lib folder)

Now everything seems to be in perfect work:
TTS, voice input, adjustible brightness, hands free calling, map share, car icon, fm transmitter, mp3...
I've done:
1. format of my GO910 disk
2. Copied 1.Basic Pack + TTSystem from original x30 + ttn file from 5.gox10emux30
3. Rebooted
4. Copied TTSystem from 5. gox10 emux30
5. rebooted
6. Copied patched with new TTuser "easy tool..." map v7.15; voices; ASR; Loquendo TTS (from my previous, worked version); and other wanted folders such as ART etc.
7. rebooted + reset factory settings

And now all is working perfectly (THANX TO TTUSER - OUR GURU)

For information, to get my GO910 working 100% wth this new version, I only copied 1 and 5 and everything is working better than ever for VR with complite numbers not speeling numbers (for example 143 instead of 1-4 -3), TMC with voice control, handsfree calling, navigation fluidity with not error like with V7 (for example tun left in the audio message and on the navigation map there is a green arrow turned to the right) , multi-files BT transfer to the device....
But no more remote control for the moment.
There is no mapshare update for he moment may be due to TomTom server?....
My bootversion is still 5.3006 and everything works perfectly!...

So fare so good....

I´ve a Mapshare update problem. WEC 715. No updates. I´ve a tt920. WEC 715 cracked and it works for navigation.
1. format of my GO920 disk

3. copied asr, art... folders
4. copied x20 to Emu. x30 ttsystem
5. reboot + reset factory settings
6. patched home.dll
My TT works very fine with all features, but TTH says no mapshare updates. What goes wrong?

the file "system" will upgrade the boot but is it hardware dependent ?

Mapshare works, i receive for a half hours for all Maps updates. Simple delete old Mapshare, looks as is the old corrupt or something.


Use the **** new 4 or 5 and brightness is not more always 100%, dont whining, reading!

With the system can you update boot, you can never go back. I have the same new and its not broken.

Did you joined to map share after installing new navcore and make all settings (I mean "... reported by many...", "...verified by TomTom..." etc.)?
