Free Text Mobile v1.0 [Freeware J2ME]

Summary

Free Text Mobile allows you to send short text messages over internet traffic. Your provider will not charge for any costly texts anymore when you use Free Text Mobile -only the cost of data traffic if any. It works all over the world and the receiver does not need to install anything. Free Text Mobile keeps a history of your last communications to speed up messaging.

How to send a message

Sending a message is easy and fast.
• Download the application to your phone.
• Select Menu->Create New
• Fill in the from field with your reply info (your name or your phone number)
• Fill in the To field with the recipients phone number (including area code)

• Fill in the Subject field
• Fill in the Message field
• Press Send!

By downloading and installing Free Text Mobile on your phone, you authorize the application to make outbound connections to the internet. Depending on your wireless subscription, you may incur data transfer charges through the use of Free Text Mobile and ad wrapping technologies. The application publisher and Greystripe shall not be liable for any such charges incurred.

Looks promising, though i get 300 texts free each month that i never end up using them all, so i don't really need...

these type of applications are bit funny.. u send the msg n u think its sent.. but.. still waiting.. plus u never knw that u can b charged for recieving the message... lol

thats why i have taken unlimited package.. ;)

I always test these apps and they never seem to work... Always too good to be true really... Though i never actually need them anyway :P

But anyone knows some apps which can send message over Edge or Gprs successfully I've been looking for it for so long still couldn't get one, Need it so much

As iam on a flat gprs plan so i use gotext,inside gotext i have configured WADJA so texting is no more problem for me in pakistan atleast.but the limit o:dance2:f 130 characters sucks.

here we can send only 5 msgs per day using this app with wadja configured...but sumtimes the msg doesnot get delivered...
