View Full Version : Official YouTube beta 1.00(8) application *update* 10/4/08
--{N_P}-- 10th April 2008, 17:10 YouTube has released a beta application that will allow you access to their entire library on your phone. Sadly I can’t test this on my Nokia N82 and I’m tearing the house inside out trying to find my N95 which is on the list of compatible devices along with Nokia’s N73, E65, 6110, 6120 and SonyEricsson K800 and W880. The video (above) should help guide you on installing the application.

because the youtube application is organized and offers all the videos upfront instead of you having to scroll through them on the browser.

Stevengw 12th April 2008, 17:17 Use MobiTubia then... It worked for me 3 minutes ago, and its Symbian...
dariuszman 13th April 2008, 16:37 after first try to connect to watch movie i've got information to configure proper access point in RealPlayer streaming settings. After that i was able to run movie ... unfortunately, it starts and few seconds later my phone is not responding - only battery disconnecting helps...

What error you facing...
Give description if you want help...
Just saying error on n95 help is of no use...
Stevengw 14th April 2008, 12:50 Everybody seems to be getting errors, sounds like the app is pretty useless...
Could just be the settings or something, or a bug in the app...
lucicat 14th April 2008, 20:02 nice update thanks
sorel 15th April 2008, 00:16 N95 & N95 8gb getting error as in this photo: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

futra 15th April 2008, 19:42 when i tried surfing to m.youtube.com/app with my n95 8gb, it gave me this message..
Sorry, your phone isn't currently on our list of supported models. We are working hard to expand this list so please check again soon.
n95 8gb isnt supported yet.. geez :P

sorel 16th April 2008, 02:23 a friend of mine sayed that he updated his firmware on his n95 and after he got the flash 3 from the update he did not have any problems...
i wold do that to try but my phone is branded and i can't update it's firmware :(
Gamergod 16th April 2008, 02:33 For those with connection error you need to configure realplayer streaming to use the same connection as internet.
aera 16th April 2008, 02:57 looks nice
Stevengw 16th April 2008, 12:36 sorel ... You can debrand your phone... But there are better apps (eg MobiTubia) That are better than this...
iPmart 16th April 2008, 15:20 both appz not works on e65
MobiTubia autoexit when try to play
YouTube - connection error
Stevengw 16th April 2008, 15:22 Maybe try a previous/updated version of Mobitubia and check the homepage to see if E65 is compatable...
Edit: Checked and it apparantly is, so maybe firmware needs updating, or close any apps etc...
Also emTube is a good little app (The best) - But you may have to use a previous version of it...
sorel 17th April 2008, 13:31 i will debrand my phone because my software is very old (v11 and on the nokia site it got to 20) but until that i'll use emTube! it never gave me any problems :)
bennnneb 17th April 2008, 13:55 works brilliantly on my n73. thanks
Geniusz 17th April 2008, 17:43 Please, help! I have n95 8gb !

inhix 26th April 2008, 16:09 Please, help! I have n95 8gb !
Same problem here. :forsaken:
HereCums 26th April 2008, 19:45 Are the latest emTube working?
Stevengw 28th April 2008, 12:38 Not the latest... But i think MobiTubia is...
DAMN!!!
Doesn't work here either...
After reading and reading on the net came to the conclusion that everybody have the same problem?
Also I think that it's to adobe flash lite v3.0.
N95 doesn't allow to install it since it says that it's embedded in phones software.
All of you who have n95 v11 soft or 12, Do you have the same problem?
Cause others who have updated this soft to 20 seems to have!??
Plz answer! :|
;) cheers
Natkov 9th May 2008, 21:25 i really like it.thx
ipswitch 10th May 2008, 11:33 Ermm,so does this application works on n82?
Stevengw 10th May 2008, 16:57 Yes... Well its suppose to. Doubt it will actually download any video's :D
sorel 19th May 2008, 11:50 i've tryed the youtube app on my N95 8Gb and it sometimes works... you have to start the real player and set it's access point the W Lan you want to use with the Youtube APP.
my phone has v 11.0.026 and i haven't installed flash player 3 on it, just [Only registered and activated users can see links] and downloaded the app.
as i said sometimes it works, sometimes no.....
mobitubia is definitely better!
works perfectly on my n81 non-8gb with wi-fi :good2:
and here is an official mirror: :egdance:

geojoking 20th May 2008, 23:16 I have no sound on my N82. Video plays good, but the quality cannot be compared to Mobitubia. The latter is the best, at the moment.
