Release v1.60 fully functional client, now configurable via new xml settings file including a default settings file and a short video played at start. all features can now simply be enabled via configuration (note: some features require the corresponding application server!). there is now a small local menu (right soft key button) to change some settings during runtime and to activate (web)services. new supported device: N95 (with some limitations -> see BUGS) (other Symbian 9.2 devices might work as well).

Symbian Development Requirements)
This client is developed for Nokia S60 3rd edition devices that run with
Symbian 9.1
To compile software for this platform you need the original SDK 3.0 MR from
Forum Nokia -> [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Additionally to get the Nokia compile tool chain working there must be
the appropriate Perl installation be available: ActivePerl version v5.6.1
is known to be working. Other versions (esp. newer) can cause problems!
If you want to use a graphical IDE we recommend Carbide.c++ v1.2
Commandline building)
Included in the source code tree is a library called SMSEngine that has to
be compiled first.
Open a DOS command prompt. Change to the directory where you unpacked the
source code. Enter directory "SMSEngine" and the subdirectory "group".
Type: bldmake bldfiles
Then: abld build gcce urel
If the build was successful you should find a new "SmsEngine.dll" in
\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\release\GCCE\UREL
(if you use standard paths of standard SDK installation)
Then change to the "aitv" directory and there also to the subdirectory "group".
Again type: bldmake bldfiles
Then: abld build gcce urel
This should produce the "aitv.exe" in the same location as the SmsEngine.dll
If everything went well you should be able to create the install package.
Change to subdirectory "sis".
In case you should not be using standard paths please adjust the Symbian paths
in the file "aitv.pkg".
Type: createsis create aitv.pkg
Follow the instructions. If you already have a certification and key for
signing the package just use them (by adding the parameters to createsis).
3rd edition applications all have to be signed for installation.
To install the new SIS-file on the device you have to set the device to
accept untrusted certificates (Menu Settings->App.Manager->Settings).
Attention: The default setting file "aitv-settings-default.xml" and the
logo video "MiViBES_Logo.mp4" are part of the installation package and are
always put to \Data\Others and \Videos on the device internal memory.
Thus any existing files with the same name at these locations are overwritten!
Good luck!
