I've installed garmin on my N82, and it doesn't pick up the internal gps, I then upgraded the firmware from 11......to the latest one 20...... but still no luck. Do i have to re-install it? or does anyone have a link for a working one?? I am downloading another garmin software but waiting for it finish, maybe that'll work, any help please!!!

I got the eygen and generated the SW.UNL file. should i try re-installing it? Or is there any other GPS program you'd suggest?

first make sure the SW.UNL doesn't have any other extensions like .txt and that you have generated the correct code based on your Card ID... also the sw.unl should be placed in the root folder of Garmin in your memory card.

and i really like garmin a lot.. there is route66 and others.. but garmin for me is the best

I've just re-installed the software, but still having the same problem. I can't get it to connect to the internal gps. In settings, remote gps, I'm supposed to be able to change the option to "use attchached/built in gps" but only have "Pair New GPS" If i press that, It says Bluetooth currently turned off. Any Ideas???
