here's my screenshots... the first one is profile pic, i can upload my own picture, but on second image, the avatar, i can't upload my own picture? is it like this on this forum? we are forced to use the forum avatar? we can't create our own avatar?

hi, no you can upload your own pic as avatar, but you have to first make 20 posts ! thats why ....
also it is usefull to use the FAQ for stuff like this, example:
