where to i put the file if im using ibrikr? i renamed the 1.1.8 to videorecorder and replaced the file inside the app folder but the app crashes at the loading screen .. help ..

You can also use "iphonebrowser" instead of ibrick or SSH. Work for 1.1.3/1.1.4
Its a file explorer for the iPhone file direcory.
Install version 1.52 on your PC and overwrite it with attached version 1.60.

i can see u r a noob to iphone. v1.1.4 is the latest. there is no 1.1.6. (there is a beta of v2.0 on torrent sites on the web though).

but to your query: yes this recorder works on 1.1.4.

Had some probs to use app with crack so here's what I did:

- Uninstall previous application.
- Install via installer version 1.2.0
- I use MAC to connect SSH my phone using Transmit
- On iPhone surf to /Applications/Videorecorder.app
- Open downloaded Videorecorder.app
- Replace all files from PC to iPhone

Now app gets cracked.

It works fine for me though! Maybe ur doing smthg wrong...

No, just hit "extract to VideoRecorder3g.app"

i followed all the steps. put the 2 document folders, set permissions to 777, added the file in applications, set it to 755, reboot. when i tap the icon, the program opens up and closes right away.

What only seemed to work for me was to install the original version through cydia first. Next I got into my iphone using WinSCP, and copied the complete folder in the zip above to my application folder, and pressed replace all. It appears to work great!!!
Maybe it helps newbs like me.
