GT is a program for S60 mobile phones. It uses the phone's internal GPS receiver or a Bluetooth GPS receiver to measure top speed and acceleration (0-100 km/h and 0-400 m, or 0-60 mph and quarter mile, or any given speed range and distance). With GT you can measure the performance of your car, motorcycle or any other vehicle.

not too accurate! I had 10 satelites locked on but it still was showing INACCURATE

GPS is normally pretty heavy on battery.

When you have finished using the app make sure you close the program properly and don't just press the red button to close. An app using GPS running in the background will use pretty much the same as if it's in focus.

Some programs seem to be worse than others. Garmin mobile XT lasted about 2hrs from full to flat!

RaceChrono and Tempes GTx seem a bit kinder. I have a standard N95 though, I thought the batteries on the 8gbs were better

Its more or likely just the app itself, i doubt very much thats its got anything to do with illusion...

I tried this on my N95 v21 got sat lock on within 1 1/2 min. Acceleration test works really well. good also you don't have to touch your fone because it automatically senses your position, waits for you to stop then you floor it and it tells you your performance :)

It may be that your windscreen has heating elements that are obscuring the view to the satelites. If you are really struggling you could get a cheap external gps adaptor

Just a note:
If you need a guide use this V2 one just ignore the stuff about GPS and bluetooth setup (at least for Nokia N95's with it all builtin)

Can you tell us then, how many sattelites you have fixed with N95, when everything works right?

I tested again this programm with my N95.
I have locked 9 sattelites, I have nothing in my frond car windows that blocks the reception and I never managed to get a clear result for 0-100.
Always I get the innacurate message.
Any ideas??

Everytime i try to sign it on symbiansigned.com, i get:

FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0x200123c3 )

Thats because Symbian Signed sucks. Request a cert or hack your firmware
