I have some problems installing new languages with audio enabled.....


The coes_signed files sometimes look the same but R from different languages...
When I install the manager states it allready exist and want 2 overwright it....

I have diff situation here on My n95 8gb, i installed english module without any prob and after that installed russian ( still no prob). didn't see any overwrite msg but now i can't see any russian sound module in dict not even in russian dict. don't know wats wrong. will check it in the mornig.

i guess you are mistaken:we have only 2 kinds of sounds;50,000 prerecorded and 17,000.they both come in English ,not in any other languages.but the dictionaries are in different languages.you can check it out.good luck mates:D

Thanks for the correction, habsal. I did not actually test every MSDict dictionary I have (20 in total). What's pissing me off is the claim led me to the believe that Collins is supported. Collins is a British publishing house, right? Collins collected some words even the Webster Unabridged does not have. Attached show sample dictionaries with no pronunciation support, and one with the support.

yeah,you're right.collins is really sth.but it comes from different factory,though it's a sub-dict of MSDICT..hope in the near future we'll have it, too.:D

I need some help with MSdict. I had the version 2.70 installed on my N73 and it was working fine. However, after installing this version 5, the app doesnt open. When I click on it, nothing happens. I tried installing on both Phone memory and memory card but no luck. Noticed that even versions 3.01 & 4 too donot open after a installation.

uninstall 2.70 and install this version(v.5).and have a fresh start pal.don't forget to SIGN it bro.good luck:D

You need at least 60 MB free space on your memory card to install the sound module.

if you still get "error"message,do this.get yourself a sisware v4.5;from this site and extract the sound module.then use a card reader and as you're directed put extracted files in the right place.good luck mate:D

You need to sign it before installing it...
All unsigned apps need to be signed so that they can be installed on phone...

or hack your phone =)

I like the layout much better than the version 3 i was using. The v5 uses text more like the standard text on my phone for everything else.

Install it same as u Installed Ms dict viewer, Sound Modules are also In sis format. Any trouble give us shout back.

Yeah Mate when u go to the link, then on Top right hand corner, click on download.
Next page enter any valid e-mail address and download it, it will be a zip file, extract it and install sis file. hope this helps.

You can install MSDict first and then the sound modules. Also, MSDict is already cracked by Illusion so there's no crack file for it.

Open the audio file using LCG explore. It helps me to install big files. Try your luck.

OMG! :) nothing to do tonight, can't sleep so worked on hacking my N95-8gb. i installed all the dicts (i had them in .pdb format, easier to just paste them into the mmc) then i downloaded (from the official site) and installed audio concise oxford dictionary and thesaurus, everything except the viewer. then i installed illusion's cracked msdict viewer and i'll be damned. :) it's working like a charm. go on and try. wouldn't hurt to have a talking dictionary as a result. cheers!

You can download any dicts and any audio package you want mate from official site, just make sure when u install their trial version, u will also get Ms dict viewer trial too, don't install the viewer, just install the dict and it will become fully functional. hope this helps.

my phone is n95 8gb and it's 1 day old only, i'm afraid hacking it would break my warraty. is there any risk in hacking my phone? thanks for enlightenment..

honestly, not that i know of. i've been using the n95 8gb since november last year, and my phone's made at least 2 trips back to nokia with the hack (and nokia has it even now sigh) so i can safely say hacking doesn't void the warranty.

on the collection slip it says that 4 things arent covered by nokia

a. unauthorised repairs or mods (im assuming they mean physical changes, not software)
b. IMEI on the label and inside the phone doesnt match
c. damages caused by physical accidents etc
d. warranty seal is broken

since the hack does none of those things, it's safe.

i signed the viewer, but when open the dictionary, it still asks me to register because there are no trial days left?


edit: oops, signed the wrong viewer...must uninstall previous version 4.10 as well....old pdb files from version 4.10 topics can be used......since the databases remains unchanged? just the audio modules r added

huh?? if you've signed it it won't be trial anymore. or if your phone's hacked. uninstall and sign then reinstall. or better yet, hack your phone. [Only registered and activated users can see links]

I really need to active “Audio Concise Oxford English Dictionary and Thesaurus – big” in my phone. So I installed all other files from there accept the viewer(which is trial version). And then, I installed ur “MobileSystems.MSDict.Viewer.v5.00.Multilanguage.S 60v3.SymbianOS9.1.Unsigned.Cracked-illusion” to do the same work which the trial version do for 7 days. But now I find two dictionaris Concise English and Thesaurus fully working but no audio.

i am having a problem in my n73 that whenever i choose consise eng. dict. and search for a word the phone crashes and reboots while it works fine when i use old oxford eng. pocket. dict.
this happens when i am using diff. fonts through font router otherwise even consise dict works fine!!

i've instaled msdict v 5 cracked by illusion on my n95, it works very well with all pdb file and it's sound module is great.
but there is a problem with sound module, i think when i use to hear just one word, after that sound module remains active in it couses to battery decharging.
is there any crack of msdict v5 that doesn't have this problem with battery?
note: if i don't run sound module on it, there isn't any problem with battery

i haven't had that prob on my N95-1 and N95 8gb. and never heard of a similar prob. it might be your phone needs a reformat. but wait for more advices. that should be the last resort.

if you have sisware you can unpack them and easily paste them
in the end you should download msdict viewer v.5 cracked by illusion(but before you install it,you must sign it)good luck and enjoy it:)

i did a bit of research and wat i understand you can get the sound modules even for the American Dict but only thing is you need to have the audio files installed... the below link takes you to the audio module for the same!! the other two points i completely agree with you!!:exactly:

Thanks indeed for your help. Here's another way of doing it.
- Download and Install the preferred dictionaries from the Mobisystem Homepage.
- Install Y-Browser or XPlorer 1.22 or later.
- Goto C:System/Data and select MSDict.dat
- Goto Options -> Attributes and set "read only" to Yes.

Now MSDict works indefinitely

With Dev cer you can sign application not need to hack but not all works
but once you hacked you are god install anything you like to :D
