I have e one v3, I want to understand if cspeech file (dummy or ok) must be always but into map dir
with v7 or v8 maps or both???
with navcore 8002 or 8010 or both????

Core 8010 and Maps v7(20) runs fine without cspeech files (if they are present, you can delete them).

If ALL links are broken, you probably need to reinstall a decent web browser, like Firefox, at getfirefox.com (I'd link it, but you said links are dead).

IF however, you mean SPECIFIC links to SPECIFIC maps, then perhaps you could enlighten us as to which maps you're looking for, rather than being a useless toad, hoping that someone less sarcastic than myself reads your infinitesimally small brain and extracts that knowledge via ESP.

Have some patience. I experienced this too yesterday; today however it worked like a charm. Others may not believe it like ap50 pointed out in a very adult but polite way :angry:, but i saw it too ...
I use rapidshare on a daily basis so that aint the problem, strange ...

The SE 8011 is based of the original beta from TT, thats right, but TTusers is not a BETA.. And what function does not work ? Tell us in compared to 8010.
Therefor all need more information and not a stupid award "...necessary function not work corekt" !!!

I do not go for big desiccation on this forum and TTsystem 8.011.9373 is grate core but it does give the problem on my XL, traffic, is says I have to make connection to my Bluetooth device, it does create connection and then when I want to use my traffic or connect to TomTom services I have to start everything all over again and it’s endless. With TTsystem 8.010 everything is ok.

There no such thing as "USA_CANADA-2GB map v720" as USA & Canada is the 850MB map for the 1GB ONE models. Maps for the GOx20 are called North_America and come in two different sizes for the 2GB 720 and 4GB 920. The latter having the larger POI & CRPOI.dat files. Version 7.20 maps for North_America have yet to be available here as far as I know. Version 8.05 of North_America is available but requires v8 NavCore. The latest v7 NA map available here is the older v7.15.

The NA 7.20 map for the 720 is 1617 MB, and the one for the 920 is 1853.1 MB.

Interestingly, the map of North America v8.05 for the 930 is 1921.6 MB, whereas the one for the 730 is 1712.6 MB.

There is no 4 GB map.

I did not mean the map was 4GB in size but that TT offers a different NA map for the 7x0 than for the 9x0 which have different internal memory sizes.

Ok...so i know have 8.10 installed....but im not sure of how to crack the 8.0.5 map pack!?!?!?

I have "tt8_keygen2.exe" as well as "tt8_mapcheck2.exe", do i need to dump the 8.10 map files to the SD card and then run both .exe's?

no im not really looking for the 8.05...im lookin for the 7.20 or even the 7.15.
cos i had 7.15 and it was working fine...then i think the navcore version updated to 8.010 and then it says you cannot use this map on this device?!

how can that be though? the tomtom one v3 has only 1gb memory in it. the only maps it supports are the ones that are less than one gb and version 7.x
all the 8.x maps seem to be much larger for other devices with tts and other options.

thing is i have 2 tomtom one v3's. both bought in the US. both were navcore 7.x and then i installed western europe onto 1 and sent it to my sister. stupid her she updated the navcore and now it says cannot use this map on this device. trying to fix her problem from the US...by goofing around i ran some patch on my device and now mine says unable to use this map on this device (stupid me). is there anyway to fix it? my navcore is 8.010. and i would basically like to restore my device to factory (probably not possible since the patch overwrote files) or fix it by trying to go back to an older navcore? not really sure how to go about it.

you can restore via home/ backup but i guess you forgot to backup

if so download navcore, ttsystem and a map [v7 or v8 your choice ]from this forum

use a small map that fits [similar to what you had before]

ok heres the deal...
the gps im trying to fix is a few thousand miles away :)
it ran fine until (and i think this is what caused it) tomtom home updated the navcore on the device. Noww.....it says the map (which i got from a torrent) cannot be used on that device. the curernt navcore on the gps is 8.010.
So is there something i can do to repatch the map while keeping 8.010 or do i have to roll back to the older 7.x navcore?
i am a newb...so some direct answers would be super appreciated.

well thats not right basflt cos i just got my tt one v3 a new map (courtesy of tomtom) since i told them i deleted some files by accident. i have us maps version 7.10 and my navcore is 8.010 so it does work.

i'll search the forum for an older navcore

was it legit w.europe map you placed b4 sending?
or patched version? ie.. from here or similar, and needed patched ttsystem?

if legit map, i have link to official v7 navcore u need.

if cracked map, you need to get her to patch new ttsystem & if it is v8.010 navcore on it, will need to re-make .dct file for map too.

does that help.

I know you didn't make the guide & yes it is nice, & also is not complete.

if ttupdate applied application, ttsystem is 'official' & so map probably not?

fyi - with v7 navcore, last night even, did successfully talk forum member thru to run ttsystem patcher on 'official' 7.162 ttsystem & the Go started fine & map load & party start in australia, so make no odds, DIY or use from basic pack to patch navcore. guess 2 wrongs make it right, eh!

wow guys sorry..didnt realize there were more replies coming in. well the one with western europe is a hacked map. and at the time i installed that map it was running navcore 7.x

so i guess yD what ur saying is i need to copy a the dct file for that map to that directory again...and then run a patcher? or do i need to replace the dct and install navcore 7.x and then run the patcher?

k. you can reinstall v7 navcore or leave v8 on. no matter. either way, will need a patched system, which includes the ttsystem file. several ways to achieve this....

as map is 'cracked', if you load v7 or v8.002 navcore, map will work ok.

After 2 months of use of TT_user's product/patch that upgraded my TT 920 to TT 930, I am well pleased to report that it's working excellent. My TT currently have the Navcore 8.010 with North_America_2GB v805.1801. Updates with the TTHome have been pretty seamless. Take note that I add the separate POI file to have the bigger POI that lacks in the circulating NA 2GB 8.05 map.

Hi Guys,

First of all a 1000 apologies if someone has asked this before in the many pages of this thread. My wife has a Go 520 which is running the latest application 8.010 (9369/080529) OS: 190943

I have downloaded the UK & Ireland Map V8.05 from the beginning of this thread, I have also downloaded the keygen from this thread. I have followed all of the instructions without any errors but when I try to use the new map on the Go I get a warning that the map cannot be used with this device.

I would really appreciate any help getting this new map to work.

Hi

I am a novice, just installed TT7, and downloaded the UK & ROI map. I have created the DCT file. Where do I suppose to put the map files in the Storage card?

I put them all in the \Storage card\Program files\Navigator folder, the TT can't find them and advised me to download a free map from the Tomtom website, but when I did, the Tomtom website returned with message that my device cannot download the free map. I am using Asus P320.

You can put the map folder anywhere on your storage card.
But the dct file needs to be in the map folder.

I tried to create \Storage card\Program files\Navigator\map, still the TT couldn't find it.
So what's the folder name of the map folder that TT reads?

I have figured out what the problem is in using the cracking tools, I took my Navcore back to 7.4 and the cracking tools worked perfectly on both the latest UK map V7.20 & France Map V7.20.

As soon as I go back to running Navcore V8.010 then the cracking tools do not work properly. I have even tried the latest version of the cracking tools which is supposed to support Navcore versions 8.010 and above.

If anyone has any ideas what I can do to crack the latest maps I would love to hear from them as I wold like to try the Advanced Lane Guidance & IQ routes.

Hi all, got a little problem activating Central and eastern europe v805.Have done wce,uk and others fine but this one keeps telling me !!!there is no such key for **map in "meta.txt" followed by ##map not in meta.txt##
Cant think where I'm going wrong and not capable of rational thought at the moment.As allways,any and all help gratefully received.

Its probly me cocking up somewhere but if anyone can tell me if they've managed to get it working ok it proves I'm a muppet who could use a bit of help:hehe:

if you look at the bottom from this page(link),
you will see a attachments with the newest meta.txt (new key inside) for this maps.
All maps that will listening in this link works with this meta.txt and all maps will
tested from me...
with TT1V2 and SE8011 (not x10) and TT1V4 and SE8010 (not x10)

Without wishing to appear sarcastic,thanks for the help. I've translated your comments to "why dont you check in the "progs" folder and see if the meta.txt file contains the blowfish code for your desired map,if not simply add it or replace the existing one,then try re-running my "runmeforall" application and everything will work wonderfully.There,that wasnt so hard now was it?..." At least thats what I think you meant and you'll be pleased to know that it did the trick so thank you very much :urtheman:oh,and yes,I have had a sh!t day.

I tried installing V8 maps on my Tomtom 920 in an effort to upgrade it to a 930. I followed the instructions to the letter, using the crack provided in the first post. Which involves replacing a ttsystem file.

However the Tomtom took far too long to load up and I eventually had to get into it via tomtom home, when running the TomTom in this way i got the message that the Western and Central Europe map can't be used with this device.

Would I be correct in assuming that I need to replace the ttsystem file further (in addition to the crack) with the files provided in this thread:

Bearing in mind my navcore version is 8.010 (9639), so I'd need the latest ttystsem file for that particular version?

TomTom Have Released new maps today strangely though V8.05 for x30 and V7.20 for others, I assume that V8 contain all the data for Advance Lane and IQ Routes and V7.20 don't. Shame on TomTom.

Hi Vista00 - I looked at the above post to try to find the rar password for the Brazil v720.1857 map you posted. But there is no mention of the pass in that post?

The post immediately under that one has the Australia v720.1838 map that you posted and you have placed a rar passord on that one of "geodeejay" I tried that one with the Brazil rar pack and it won't work.

Can you please let us know what the rar password is for the Brazil v720Map?

Hi Maverick - My question was not directed at you .. it was directed at Vista00. The Brazil v720 map that he uploaded did have a rar password on it. I had no trouble downloading it but can't un-rar it as of yet. :confused:

Anyone noticed that the routes which your tomtom takes you are different on the 725 map and the 810 map.i have western europe v810 and my friend has western europe v725.we plot the same routes in the tomtoms and they take you different routes.it has nothing to do with iq routes as its turned off.another friend has got uk v725 and it does the same as western europe.the v810 map plots the route right at 3.2 miles,but the 725 maps goes another way and its 3.4 miles.cant get the 725 map to go the shortest way,they where both set on fastest routes.has the v725 maps got a fault? Try it yourself plot in 9 carlaw road birkenhead uk, to number 3 alwen street birkenhead.the 810 map takes you the right way storton road etc,while the v725 map takes you down woodchurch road wetstone lane etc.this is just one route that the v725 map cocks up.
