I found a way to play n-gage 2.0 games on non n-series phones!!!

Only works for 240x320 phones!!!

1. just install the version from [Only registered and activated users can see links] including the autostart file!!!

it will say Symbian OS PIPS couldnt be found or something!!

just let the installation finish and then

2. install thep ips_s60_1_2_SS.rar from the attachment!

3. now download a game from this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links]

4. copy the 20001079.txt from the attachment to c:\private\10202be9\

5. turn caps on!!!

install it and enjoy ngage2.0 on non n-series devices!!!

if it works for you pls tell me your device!!!

Please help! I TRIED following your instructions.. but it's like half of the manual isnt here if you get what I mean.. I hacked my firmware, installed Ngage, installed autorun, copied the text file to the correct folder, and when I try to install a game it gives an error saying the file is corrupted and asks if it should delete it right away. What did I do wrong? :? :(

I found way to update to newest version - unfortunatly it is manual metod: you need hacked phone, sisware and sisxplorer, first you need to unpack n-gage.sisx via sisxplorer, after unpacking you need two files: n-gage.sisx and autostart installer, autostart installer doesnt need any work. Now open n-gage.sisx with sisware and you will see at first screen green list of ngage application files, now you need to extract all files from n-gage.sisx, then you will find ngage folder in programfiles\conqueztech\bin the structure of ngage folder will represent structure of phone memory, so you will find there sys, private etc. folders, you need to copy files from those folders to phone, and repleace old ones from beta version of n-gage

i just did the rompatcher process and its completed. Do I have to apply patches coz i havent done any?

you need turn off caps from rompatcher menu, and then you should see all folders in c drive, including private folder

Is it possible that you tried to change screenmode in the game? I had this prob too! Just go to c:\private\20007b39\2000afbc and delete game.cfg!!!! It may be possible that your savegame wont work! So first make backup of the file!

well, though you didnt ask me, here is the answer. if you follow the great tutorials here, the phone hack wont take more than 10 minutes and installing n-gage another 10 minutes.

The autostart file is in the n-gage s60v3.zip in the attachment in the first post! If you get the -18 error you forgot to copy the 20001079.txt file! Also try to start a game again after restarting your phone!

If you get the -18 error you forgot to copy the 20001079.txt file! Also try to start a game again after restarting your phone!

I didn't forget to copy 20001079.txt. I had original 20001079.txt in c:\private\10202be9\ so i removed it and copied one from thread. I reinstalled games and started them after rebooting phone. Nothing changed :(

hey i installed the ngage autostart and managed to run the ngage app but system rush evolution upon completion of installation gives an error code -18

i even copied the text file given and am still facing the same problem.
i havent tried any other games, do you think it is related to system rush or is there something wrong with the ngage app?

system rush evolution works for me on 6120c, I think that it is case of free ram, when it is low games sometimes doesnt start, betest solution is to restart phone there, and after restart it should work

you have downloaded a bad version. you must use a "hacked" version that will just notify you during the instalation that your device is not supported but it will let you install it. (the correct version should be attached here. if not use the one from a thread for running n-gage for N73, there was certainly the one you can use)

No, there are no resolution fixes, mods, patches, etc. for N80 or N91.

On E90 is workin......not all and not so good :-/.... It works only in inner display + screen of game is very small. Game is running in resolution like outer display. I can confirm "Sytem Rush: Evolution" and "Snake Subsonic" - these are "quite playable"

Can someone xplain me what the problem with mine phone (E51).... when i installs the games it say not found n i have to delected it .... I have aslo restarted the devices n apply the hack n renames the files without successes ... any help will be great mates ....

I did all the steps as in message one, even installed the newest version by extracting all the necessary files from the newest ngage app as downloadable from this thread.
I can't run the ngage app on my e90?? I resetted m yphone but it still shows: feature not supported!

You need to install Autostart. You can find it with a search. I had the same problem. Now its fixed.

i have installed it but i cant find it anywhere :S or i must lunch ngage app now?

i did everything. reformatted my 6120 and sd card. still couldnt run a game. what could be the problem? i used to play system rush on n95 but i cant seem to run the game on 6120.

you guys could follow my easiest tutorial. it is best if you will be installing from a fresh hard format of the phone. or you could just follow it..

i finally did it! i dont know what happened but i just installed everything on the main memory except the game, then i removed and re-installed everything on the sd card. now i could play all the games.

Hi. I've got 6120c and I installed n-gage app without any problem, but the showroom doesn't work - it's epmty. Do you know what is wrong? I thing it is good idea to reinstall app, but I don't know where are the save files. I don't want to loose them. :/

In C\Private\20007b39 are the saved games. For example in folder 2000afbc are the saves for Hooked On COTD. But you can backup the entire folder.

Thank you very much :). I'm going to reinstall n-gage app. I've noticed that n-gage point level is freezen too. On n-gage.com there is written that I am on 4th level, but in app I am still on 1st.

Hi, works on E61 but the trick with resizing screen doesnt work for me :S

Heres how it looks, same goes for Tetris, the only game that worked fine (I could see everything) was Systemrush, and I also could play space impact but it wasn't fully visible to me (some fonts and the energy bar)

pips_s60_1_2_SS.sis: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

3. Hack your phone:
-download and install ROMPatcher (look for it at google):
First you need install MetroTRK on your mobile and launch it.
Launch RPInstaller.exe, open the device manager and check your's phone COM port number, select MetroTRK COM port and press Install (if you can't see the number in device manager, write number 1-9, till you guess)
If no errors occurs then you have ROMPatcher installed on your mobile :)
-open ROMpatcher and options/disable caps
-open Xplore and press 0
-mark all options
-now you can see the "private" folder

4. Copy 20001079.txt to C:\private\10202be9

5. Turn thee caps on

6. Download any n-gage game from [Only registered and activated users can see links]

7. Have fun

i m using E51 n i install ngage launcher but ngage_autostart_204.sis unable to install n i intalled pips_s60_1_2_SS.sis

but in xplore i find private folder in c: but its empty what shud i do ... plz help n sorry for my bad english m waiting

I found a way to play n-gage 2.0 games on non n-series phones!!!

Only works for 240x320 phones!!!

1. just install the version from [Only registered and activated users can see links] including the autostart file!!!

it will say Symbian OS PIPS couldnt be found or something!!

just let the installation finish and then

2. install thep ips_s60_1_2_SS.rar from the attachment!

3. now download a game from this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links]

4. copy the 20001079.txt from the attachment to c:\private\10202be9\

5. turn caps on!!!

install it and enjoy ngage2.0 on non n-series devices!!!

Why is it that ONLY Space Impact works on me?!?
I have Nokia E65 Firmware 4.0633.74.00 hacked using HelloOSX 1.03.
I followed all the steps to the letter but still nothing runs properly.
Do I really need the CapOn application? From what I understand this is for hacking the phone right? Also the thread where you want us to download games are only Trials. So does this mean Ngage 2.0 only works for E65 for Demo games??
