1. Create a model.txt file in e:\resource\versions\
2. Write a text in this file and save it in UNICODE format (i think max text lenght is 20).
3. Activate the patch and have fun:pmpl:.

Edit:
Put model.rmp in E:\Patches\ and you must have ROMPatcher installed to activate the patch.

Viennaboy, when you deactivate patch, you will see your phone model in phone info. When you activate the patch you will see your text. So if you want to install something and it's saying something about phone model, turn patch off.

spaciodino, for save in UNICODE on PC, in NOTEPAD when you want to save file it's asking you for coding (or something like that):

The answer is YES.
YES - because the patch will stop functioning when you restart you fone. So a hard format will definitely make it disappear.
The patch is located in the memory card, and ROMPatcher is located in the phone memory. The hard format will erase ROMPatcher, but once you install ROMPatcher again, the patch is still there, and you can apply it with ROMPatcher.

My fone-N80 is already hacked but I can't not make new folder or creat model.txt file in E:/resource or modify anyfile in System folder using X-Plore (allfiles enabled by morecaps).Anybody tell me how to? thanks

As i see alot of people are using this patch and having fun, here is older patch , the same, but better actualy, because you change all the text inside *#0000# screen.

Here is the patch for changing the phone version files.
MORF made it first i think.

How to: Copy the files sw.txt , model.txt from z:\resource\versions\ to c:\resource\versions\ (create the folder) and then edit it to whatever you want ;)

For those who don't know how to edit the second file.
My sw.txt has three lines of text and the "\n" that points to the new line, example of my sw.txt:
V 04.60\n14-09-07\nRM-86\n
and i change it to that
illegible's phone\nV 04.60M RM-86\n26-04-08\n
