Compatibility and system requirements
Should work but not fully tested with all devices based on S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, including N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95, N95 8GB, E90. If you are using N95, please make sure you have the latest firmware (20.0.015 or newer). You can update the firmware with Nokia Software Updater. Navigation features require either built-in GPS or external Bluetooth GPS receiver such as Nokia Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W.

Installation instructions
Download the correct version of Nokia Maps to your PC and install it with PC suite or transfer the sis file to your phone.
Launch the Nokia Maps application on your phone if installed with PC suite or locate the sis file and run it. Follow the instructions. Launch application after installation finishes.
Download and install Nokia Map Loader for your Windows PC from this page. Follow the on-screen instructions during installation. You need to run the Maps beta once first in the phone before connecting to PC.
(optional): Download map files with Nokia Map Loader and transfer them to your phone. Start exploring your world!

im just reading the pdf and could be that they covered more nations with the maps?
im seeing places like Cambodia or Vietnam and think werent in the others version of the maps. Or am i just wrong?

Nice update mate, installed it using it now and looks more promising and fonts are much smaller which looks much better. But Memory issue is still there, first beta installation took abt 5 mb of ph memory and now this upgrade further 4mb which sucks. rep up for u mate. :thanks:

Tested on My N 95 8gb, it doesn't, it's much faster now and just to confirm Traffic info and help function is also working.

Still only FP1 support =/... Will see if there's any changes on Brazil map.

There are changes in Poland map, btw anyone will try to crack this soft ? I think that it is crackable, the target is license manager which is installed with maps..
Edit: All licenses are in format CD XXXX XXXX XXXX where X are numbers only, when you type any numbers it want connect to network to validate them, so we need crack this online validation, it works via license manager :ilove:

Yes the voices are free to download, download them from Map loader but u have to pay for navigation though.

anyone else geetting the map loader interferrence error???

I can't upload new maps because the Map Loader keeps telling me that the map data on my device is not compatible with the map data available through Nokia Map Loader.

Step1. I deleted the folder named "CITIES" from the memory card

Step2. Reinstalled the official version for N82 (basically and upgrade version) over the Beta 2.0.

Step3. Uploaded new maps and voices using Maploader.

Step4. Done :)

Step5. Navigation hack still works :D

The navigation hack for nokia maps is there somewhere on the forum. You basically have to change the system date to the date of "purchase of license" this could be your free 90 day license (n82) or 3 day license (n95). Once you have changed the date start the maps program and start navigation it will ask for checking for free license updates, and you get the free license. Before you exit the MAPS application press the menu key and set the date back to the current date. and then exit the maps application.

I've been using this hack on N82 for a while now it works like a charm.

That's the date u get ur free 3 day trial or u buy 3 day navigation, u just have to memorise that date and follow the steps above. go to link below for more info.

fortunately for me, navigation hack is working :) after I manually overwrote the existing v2.0 beta map files with v1.2 map files...
