Camera sound off (Patch) [Archive]

Tested on N95, may not work on all other phones.
This is a patch for ROMPatcher, only for S60v3

1. Unpack camera patch.zip and copy all .wav files to e:\system\sounds\digital
2. Copy all .rmp files to e:\patches\
3. Apply patch and enjoy:egdance:.
All patches are for other things, allin1.rpm are patch, which are shutting all camera sounds off.
capture1-4 - turning off capture1-4 sounds
focus - turning off focus sound
start/stopcapture - turning off start/stop capture video sound
allin1 - turning off ALL camera sounds

Of course you can replace .wav files for your own .wav files, example explosion sound for capture1 :D etc.

CamMojaveCapture1-4.wav - Capture 1-4 sound
CamMojaveFocusSucc.wav - Focus sound
CamMojaveStart/Stop - Video capture start/stop sound

@edit:
If you don't have e:\system\sounds\digital folder, just make it yourself.

Not working in 5700xm..I checked in Z: the sound files are in different names like
CamcorderCapture.wav ,CamcorderJavaCapture.wav ,CamcorderJavaStart.wav, CamcorderStart.wav ,CamcorderStop.wav & NameDialerStarrtTone.wav..But the files provided here are in different names..

Waiting for another patch..

i ran these patches, but i saw X red (X focus)on ROMPATCH,can'y enable or disable, it's not working, camera still sound when capture

my N82 does not have E:system/sound/digital.=((

actuallu i juz realised tt if u dont wanna the shutter sound..u can off ur warning tone in ur profile...than the sound wont be heard...no need tis patch.unless u wan some other sound like BOMB!!!!...lol...

arsenal2006, You can turn these sounds off, but you won't hear other warning sounds. You can turn your profile to Silent too, but will you change profile to Silent, only to make a photo? Patch is better, it shuts down ONLY camera sound.

If you dont have e:\system\sounds\digital\, just make this folder, lol.

'works perfect on my N95-1. Somehow without the sounds it looks like it takes the picture faster, or I'm just delusional.

i think its only for fp1 not pre-fp1 devices. i try it on N73me but not showing check mark in rompatcher. and neither sound go off.There is same files as u shown but there is z:/sys/bin/CamMojave.exe in my device. so all in vain.:(

I hacked my N95-2 8GB with the 20. firmware with the new method, ie no RomPatcher. The HelloCarbide etc hack.

Is there any way to disable cam sounds on phones without rompatcher?

why dont you install rompatcher?
you can install the sis file without doing the first steps with pc etc.

Oh, well TRK is bocked on new firmwares, and i got the impression that TRK was needed for the Rompatcher install.

Like from the thread of Rompatcher
". Launch RPInstaller.exe, select MetroTRK COM port and press Install"

And that TRK added some virtual connection, that Rompatcher needs to install.

I have a nokia n95. can anybody tell me how to apply this patch? because after doing all the steps, I can find a apply button in Fexplore. Also, I didn't had e\patches folder, so I manually created it , moved the files and then I don't know how to apply this patch.. Please help..

N95 has different filesystem setup, tips doesn't work on E51 too :(
