I had already asked that question. You have to flash it with PNHT method, currently it is the only method for getting a hacked X6. HelloOX2 does nothing.

No u cant do that, some apps do need some more access to our phone so they r programmed to get installed in phone memory.

I am not sure what lotus notes traveler apps does, but there is a custom nokia maps available that can be installed in e drive just to save some space in c. Search it.

Lotus Notes is basically an app for email usage (specially for organization purposes..)

Yup, you can change the files location by editing the sis files using SisContents, however I can't assure you on that whether they will work after that or not.., you can try though.

e71 v410.21.010

i got cer and key. first i installed hello ox2 v2.03 i thought i have hacked successfully so i installed software but error appears "Certificate Error. Contact the application supplier". then open hello ox2 froom installation two option appears
1) unhack my mobile
2) hack my mobil again.

i choose 2 and hacked again but it was stucked on unpacking files. then remove hello OX2. then i got another procedure installed mapdrivesigned.sis then after i again installed hello ox2 but same error appeared "Certificate Error. Contact the application supplier". then choose option 1 unhack my mobile it was stucked on removing root cer.

now kindly help me what to do ? i would be greatfull to you.

I've got an E72, software version 023.002, RM-530.

A while ago, I installed HelloOX2. It installed well and everything but I still ran into certificate problems. Those were bypassed because I had acquired my IMEI based 17 capability certificate from opda website so I didn't pay it much attention.

Now, however, I needed to truly disable the security check because I found a program that has already been signed by the cracker. If I sign it myself, it removes the crack (don't know how but it does that). I removed HelloOX2 and Rompatcher+, hoping to re-install them and see if things would be different this time.

The problem is that HelloOX2 reinstalled and when I ran it, it went through its procedure without any errors. However, the I am UNABLE TO FIND THE ICON FOR ROMPATCHER+. HelloOX2 mentions during its setup that it is installing rompatcher but there is NEITHER ANY ICON NOR IS IT LISTED IN THE INSTALLED APPLICATIONS LIST.

I said, OK, no problem, I'll just try finding the standalone setup for rompatcher and install that. Unfortunately, in order to do that, I need to have a 20 capability certificate which, from the time I spent on google, is probably no longer available on earth. The alternative is to install a "lite version" of Rompatcher+ and then copy two files to the "C:\sys\bin" folder in the phone memory.

Sounds simple enough but that folder is guarded better than Fort Knox. I've tried pretty much EVERYTHING out there that I could think of. It is practically IMPOSSIBLE to get write access to the c:\sys folder so I can't create anything there. I tried installing Rompatcher+ via the PC program RPInstaller but that requires an application called MetroTRK and DOES NOT WORK WITH APPTRK. MetroTRK isn't available anywhere. I even tried Hellocarbide and that doesn't work either.

So in short, I have 3 questions:

1. IS it even possible to hack an E72 software version 023.002, RM-530 ? I'm not talking about E71 or E65 or ANY OF THE N-SERIES. Has anyone been able to hack an E72?

2. Is there any way, short of formatting the phone, that I can get the Rompatcher+ icon back?

3. Is there any way to get write access to C:\sys folder?

It means ur 5630 is not hackable by Helloox method. Maybe you should try cooked firmware method to hack ur phone.

It does not always mean that.
Search the forums and read about HelloOx, there's info about this. I think you just exit the process and redo it. It has happened to me more than once but so far always worked on 2:nd try.
But as I said "I think", I don't remember if there's something special you need to do.

Guys, I installed a transition, putting the skins and the sel file on the respective folder, but when i restart my phone, i always have to manually click theme effects to off and on to enable it because it just shows the default transition, is it normal? what do i do?

downgrading will kill your phone. I would not suggest you that. Its easy to flash your firmware with hacked firmware.

Hi can someone please explain to me what it's all about?
i know that unsigned application can't be installed because they need to be signed for security reasons but how can we do to sign them?
can we sign all the applications we want with signsis?
what's the OPDA certificate?
if all we need is the OPDA certificates and signsis.exe to sign all the applications so whats the point of helloOX and all the complicated hacking...?
i'm sorry i'm just asking 'cause it's all confusing and i'm really lost in all this...

No, you cant sign all the apps with signsis.exe. There are cases that some apps dont work even if they are signed. If you are hacking your phone with HelloOX, then you dont have to worry at all. You can install any app without signing.

I tried to install Drakarious v 3.01, followed by presented instructions, but it no works.
As I conclude surfing on web, I cannot do it as I have installed on the phone latest firmware.

As u r on a firmware version 21.0.025, hello ox2 is working for you. If you will update to v50 or higher, hello ox2 wont be working for you as it does not support versions above 40.

Yes your phone will be hacked after updating unless & until you will do a hard reset i.e. *#7370#. After performing the hard reset, you will have to flash your phone with a cooked firmware in order to get it hacked again or you will have to cook your own firmware.

Still i have one doubt from your answer ... I mean that as the phone is hacked i can backup my phone with pcsuite update the phone again with pcsuite restore the backup copy made earlier and at the end the phone still hacked with new firm and all applications will run ok like with old firm. Is that it?

Yes you can do that but I wont recommend you to do that. Yes you can copy the contacts, notes, calendar entries, etc. with pc suit & restore that after flashing. You can backup everything & restore afterwords but your phone will be a kind of buggy...

Thats the reason I m not recommending you to do the resoration of everything.

How can i update to the new oficial firm without any problems? Removing that hack? How can i do that? should i just flash the phone? is it possible just to backup some data of the data of the phone that will not cause any problems with the new firm? what are those aplications?

It has been some time since I have been here and it has changed sooo much. Forum looks great now and I see so many thing changed to better of course :nod:

I would really need a quick help if some one have time to answer. Since I am running N97 RM-505 and FW11.0.021 I want to sell my N97 and buy N8, but can you tell me is it possible to hack FW22.0.110 which is available for my phone. I promised a guy to have "custom" app.installed and I need to know if I update will I be able to hack this FW using HellooX or some other method. I am still not used to this new looks and I need quick answer if possible.

Thanks for quick answer, but to add a question before I read about this new method (for me is new because I used HelloOx2 last time). Is it complicated in regard to bricking the phone or something, I will go trough it before I do it.

Also, because I already hacked the phone with HelloOx, after update should I proceed with the mentioned method as if I am hacking the phone for the first time or?

BTW what is cwfs - custom written firmwre or I am just guessing totally off :LoL:

You can adopt any of the two methods to flash your phone. Its completely your decision what method suits you better.

And dont worry about bricking your phone mate, if you brick your phone, use the original firmware files & flash your phone again. It will work...

are you trying to run it from jaf icon?
you should run it from pkey.......!! usually provided with jaf...if you downloaded jaf posted in this forum, or the guide thread mentioned above....you will have that pkey with it...!!

Yes I dl it here but I did not know that. What option under Pkey SN to select (Random Raskal, Thomas or Special) same for exe (JAF main, JAF -S V1.0 or BB5 no TP)? When I try running first default selection when running OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe and press GO it says *ERROR: Can not find JAF.EXE* - this is before I installed JAFSetup than I tried next install JAFSetup_1.98.62.exe and than try to run it using OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe - run from Pkey get error on load BOX DRIVER NOT INSTALLED Both FIRST options selected??
Than window pops up and it reads under:

JAF version 1.98.62
Detected PKEY: 90009699
Card life counter: 99.99%
P-key nokia module version 01.02
FBUS INTERFACE NOT CONNECTED!!!
USB Cable Driver version: 7.1.31.0

When I run JAF directly on icon I get error can not load WinSCard.dll

Also to mention I have not dl the firmware using navifirm first, even tough it is mentioned as first step (I thought it is not related or mandatory when installing JAF).

Hello,

Just flashed my N97 with Hegazy cfw v5.0, but I did direct fw upgrade without first upgrading trough nokia SW downloader and when I dl my FW frough NaviFirm it downloaded a bunch of files from which the largest was RM505_RM507_101_000_M008_32G.fpsx which had 1.34 Gb and was not included in JAF list during flash. Did this really upgrade my phone now to new version or what? The *#0000# says SW v22 but still I am bit puzzled, since upgrade trough Nokia server last approx one hour or so...

Well here is another one, can some1 confirm that it is not necessary to have FW from "domestic operator" (e.g. Italian phone can receive German FW as long as it is same RM?? And than use custom FW to flash correct? Worst case one can end up with is not having your native language as I figured out or?

Hello everyone!
I'm having a lot of trouble hacking my N93-1 with firmware version 20.0.058. Neither Drakkarious or HelloOX2 were able to hack my phone. HelloOX2.03 gets stuck at "Unpacking Files" and 2.04 gets stuck at "Applying patches". Drakkarious method managed to let me install a few applications but most new S60V3 will not install. They will accept the installation and at about 70% installed, it freezes for a few seconds and then says : "Unable to install". Also, N-Gage games (.SIS) will not install and neither will any other application if I try the "N-gage install on any phone tutorial".
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am getting my butt kicked by this phone. Nothing I try works! All my other phones were easy to hack either but this one is really a pain.
I am thinking of flashing the phone with JAF with the N93 firmware (20.1.058) and maybe that would work. Not sure of the risks though.
So please, help me with this problem. I've formatted the poor phone so many times the full battery was drained in 45m :))

Try using PNHT, Khantastic made great tutorial, just be sure to follow it and read it with outmost CARE and ask question if something is not clear. It works grat. I hacked my N97 with Hegazy (phone is now much faster and "C" drive has more memory).

Only I do not know if there is cooked firmware for that version...I have one E72 in my hands was thinking to upgrade to CFW only I do not see much CFW for E72...Any one with some pointers in right directionc:dance2:

How Can i sign unsigned Symbian apps?

Go here To apply for cert and key ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) and register and than apply for certificate (enter your IMEI number and phone type to get it - wait time approx 12 hours)

Search here in forum for Sign SIS application (Signer.exe), dl it and after you get your cert and key put all three in same map with desired SIS(X) to sign and perform signing of SIS.

This should allow you to install it on your phone (in most cases).

ok here is what i did to try and hack my n82 v 35.002

edited the uda file and added installserver.exe in sys\bin\
and flashed with it
but i cannot install any app, says cert error !!
ANY IDEAS?

Can anyone plz help me in hacking my phone?My cellphone is Nokia C5(S60v3) Software version-071.005
hav tried many stuffs like
1.binpda secman(the application doesn't respond in my phone during the process)
2.HelloOX-downloaded the latest unsigned version from the site.got it signed wid signsis from opda wid the certificate and key from opda.started the application and left it working for a long time.went to sleep and when i woke up in the morning it was still unpacking the files :P

any suggestions plz?

hi guys,im new on this forum and after a year im back to symbian phones and a lot has been changed certificate keys blablah.i used to manage dotsis forum before it got closed and after a long search i found a working and nice mobile forum .So b nice and plzzzzzzz help me and tell me any working guide to hack my C5-03 And C7.Coz im totally new cert and keys method and never tried any way till now..i applied for certs and keys on 3 sites by searching forum but it has been 20 days and i didnt get 1 certificate.

- modification that allows you to have more than 4 icons in shortcut bar

Hello i have problem with flashing custom firmware

Today i tried to flash my phone. I always do it with Manual Flash, Factory Set, Dead USB and Normal Mode + im formating phone memory card. Everything works fine, i can launch jaf, it auto finds files for flashing and its starting flashing but when its almost finished it shows an error/disturbing message:

Im using Windows 7 64 bit, tried flash it with JAF 1.98.... and with JAF 2.0, both failed. My phone is Nokia C6 v41 of course im flashing it with v41 firmware.
In addition to that, i have succesfully flashed my phone multiple times before, this is first time im getting problem like that
