sorry, i don't have time, so you can put them allover / around where you find an jumbo, sorry, jumper pin...:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: You'll need one more jumper, anyway :weedman:

Specify your MB and MAYBE you'll find some1 to enlighten you (not like me)...

P.S. I hope you know / heard about jokes...or else i'm gonna be warned (or worse, banned) :partyman::hifive::weedman:

SATA have no jumpers. On your motherboard it is indicated SATA1 and SATA2.

If you have ATA drives, the jumper is at the back of HDD or Optical Drive. Different brands have different location of jumper setting on HDD. It is illustrated at the back of HDD how to place the jumper.

For ATA: Generally, HDD (the one with your OS) must be Primary Master. Others can be Slave especially if Optical Drive.

myk pretty much covered it all. one more thing, when mixing IDE drives, take note that all the drives in the chain will operate at the lowest hardware speed present. so separate your CD/DVD drives on a different IDE cable from your faster HDD to optimize performance.

also, read properly the documentation of your drives. not all drives will mix with other makes. example: you set one hdd as master and the other as slave. sometimes the slave will not work and you have to set both hdd as cable select then only they will work.

experiment! i have burned several mobos and fried a number of hdd before i got my act correctly, lol.
