Oh yes! Finally a version of Quickoffice v5 that works on N80! Just great!

Cool! I guess I'm the only one having trouble so far :D Will try again over a fresh installation.

My guess because it have different directory for key and data.xml. Furthermore this version having problem with RomPatcher (Cap Disable) will cause QuickOffice to frezze working. Be carefull...

Now I bigger problem to solve on E90 with FW 200. Because it came with QuickOffice special hack proof. It wont allow any upgrade version to be installed and causing DEATH PHONE (Contact your nearest NPC crap) So still looking for a solution for this.

Anyone with original QO 3.8 version?

Thanks N_P but I have a problem: on hacked Nokia N80 installed the base, downloaded the install.zip, than installed the QuickofficePU_QO_5.0.32_AM_S603.0.sis, and finally extrated from install.zip the dat.xml and key files onto c/system/data/quickoffice/licence_install/W910003. Than rebooted the phone, but when I open quickoffice and want to create a new file, I'm prompted to enter a registration code!
I tried many times following exactly each step.
Maybe on N80 the .dat and key must be placed on another directory? Thanks in advance for your help Master...

Well, I think I found out what happens in my case.

Be sure that you place in /system/data/quickoffice/license_install/W910003 the xml and key files that contain your IMEI.
Next what is needed is to reboot phone before running the app.

Then there is no need for registration.

i got some problem with this QuickOffice v5.0.32

1)n95 with QuickOffice v5.0.16, install only QuickofficePU_QO_5.0.32_AM_S603.0.sis restart work fine, but when try again after few times use, it can't open Quickoffice. so i need to install again, but still same problem, now i use back v5.0.16

2)6110n with default QuickOffice v3.8, try install quickoffice_base_unsign.sisx but update error, so i just install QuickofficePU_QO_5.0.32_AM_S603.0.sis and date.xml&amp, now it ask for unlock code... so how to uninstall without format...

All the instructions are on the 1st post... Note you have to hack your firmware 1st (I hacked mine last night because i was bored. Took all of 5 minutes... And most of that was waiting for things to install. Hacking is actually easier than pie)

For those with hacked phones, QuickOffice v5.0.32 doesn't run when caps is off. Need to turn caps on first.

oh, i found a solution elsewhere. works fine now

f Program ask for unlock code (quick office 5).
To resolve this problem, please use the Best taskman v2.01, choose View > Advanced > Processes, please kill the Process with name:"sa_licenseserver.exe"
After that, Please delete the "key" and "data.xml" in folder c:\system\data\quickoffice\license_insta ll\W910003, then
please extract the "key" and "data.xml" in "install.zip" file to 2 folder name:
C:\system\data\quickoffice\license_insta ll\W910003.
And second folder name:
C:\data\system\quickoffice\licenses, and delete anything in folder C:\data\system\quickoffice\unlockcodes.
if done, you'll successfully unlock Quickoffice 5.0.16.

I encountered the "unlock code"problem as well.
Here is what worked for me:

Just reextract the install.zip (data.xml & key) into the C:\system\data\quickoffice\license_insta ll\W910003 folder.
Now it works perfectly.
In my case, i accidently extracted the data.xml and the manifest(!!) file into the folder. Please check if you extracted the files propperly!

On my hacked E90 (no brand) with latest firmware (210.34.75) I found preinstalled Quickoffice ver 4.1.27.5.

When I try to install quickoffice_base_unsign.sis I get "Update Error" (I think that's 'cause of I'm trying to upgrade 4.1.27.5 with an older version).

So I tried to bypass this step, but Swankyleo's procedure doesn't work. In fact when I try to purchase the upgrade to ver 5.0, the first screen I got is asking about credit card and so on. Ok, I filled the form with my cc data and paused the procedure on the final step, just before the payment, BUT at that time, if I look for install.zip in the designated folder I can't find it!! There's some files but no install.zip, software has not been downloaded.

What can I do? :suicide:

"quickoffice_base_unsign.sis" wouldn't install on my n82 but I already had the Quickoffice 4.5.25 version installed and working
(I don't know if update directly from 3.x default version works...).

I updated as described in the first post and i got my key& data.xml files together with the "QuickofficePU_QO_5.0.32_AM_S603.0.sis" in install.zip (":\install\usr\local\catalog\v5")

I installed quick and copied key&data in
"c:\system\data\quickoffice\license_install\W910003" and
"C:\data\system\quickoffice\licenses" since the program sometimes asks for an unlock code.


And since you were so curious about the imei stuff i checked the data.xml... and guess what??? there's my imei inside ;)

And due my inquisitive nature you now can test if there's a connection between the two because "date.xml&amp" is actually a ".rar" archive with key and data.xml inside, with somones imei ofcourse.

Maybe they are even nicely hacked and we don't need to connect to the internet anymore for them:)

But next time, DO PAY ATENTION because it's not safe to ask ppl to expose their imei like that!:punish:

at the begining I was tying to downoad upgrade from web as most tutorials said. no way. neither could find any method how to do it or itwas not working. heared on some forums install.zip is IMEI dependant ....
so tried installing qo 5.0.32 over qo 4.5.25.0. but unfortunatly all those magic steps did not worked. QO was asking for unlock code or purchase - so annoying...
ofcourse could not uninstall it - but.....

as I got those two magic hacks on board secman+hellocarbide started to install older version in hope it will finally overwrite 5.0.32.
at the begining installed 5.0.16 - installed - but still I could not get install.zip - v5 gives no upgrade with download option :( - only downgrading
tried different 4.5.25.0 versions...few days no luck and suddenly! gotya! everything worked!

get to the piont:
1. you have both hacks running. (used patch and menu 1 from hellocarbide and sec off from secman)
2. download quickoffice.premier.upgrade.v4.5.25.0.s60v3.symbia nos9.1.unsigned_whit_crack-binpda.zip from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UF602QNK
if you have 5.0.32. try to simply install v4.5.25.0 over it. if it will not work try to install 5.0.16 and then install v4.5.25.0 again. should work - worked for me:) - after installation I run it once.
found my n95 stopped answering so nice - almost stopped - after starting v4.5.25. just ignore. reboot and proceed.
3. follow strictly steps from http://www.pda4x.com/read.php?tid=69315 - especially use directory name W760003 !!!

The "date.xml&amp" File is actually a RAR Archive. Just add.rar to it and
you find in it two files: data.xml and key.

One contains the IMEI of the phone, the other some key. If it is related to the IMEI
i don't know yet. Maybe someone could post their version of the files. If the "key"-File
is independent of IMEI, we could have a very easy way to install in the future...

i bougth new N82 which is having quickoffice but that version cannot edit excel sheet file only can be viewed, so pls. help me what version do i need to install and if versiion 5.032 is ok as above .rar to download, will it be directly install to my N82 and will it work.

I downloaded the catalog but there is no "upgrade" (why should it be?)
Now I can swiche from V5.0.16 (which is with bugs) to 5.0.32 and vias versa but I do not have the install.zip file cause I can not do upgrade.

Each time that I want to use the program I need to enter reg code (which I do not have). is there any solution? can I crack the 5v without doing the upgrade (I can not do it)?

I tried to uninstall the program by python aplication which was claimed to have the ability to uninstall every SW installed on the phone. Well, it did not worked. Moreover the system crashed and the phone could not work. I had to do SW uppdate and by that I had the oppertunity to start from beggining.

I think you would have to wait for an appropiate hacking........NTL this SW is not so usefull.......................

i am currently having v4

the istallation for me went ok, but when i open quickoffice, and go to "new document", it tells me "No License, You to not have a license for this feature", "Unlock"

something must've gone wrong with your installation. this upgrade requires following instructions to the letter. mine works okay. not asking me for any license or anything.

I guss that you already have version 5 (something like 5.0.16) so when you try the download the upgrade list you do not get office v5 in that list. You also can not downgrade by installing privious version (That is why you get Update Error) .

1. If you have already installed v5 Try to install v5.0.32 and hope that you will not be asked to put reg code.
2. If you need to put reg code you will have to wait till there will be a solution for your prob
3. NTL this app is not so big shoot, better for you is to install officesuite. You just will not be able to use office 2007 docs ( quick office also can not oppen pptx).

see here's what i did. i read this method somewhere in this thread as well. maybe it'll work for you.

i installed v4.5.25 by defcon http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=200938&highlight=quickoffice and restarted my phone.

then i installed this version (5.0.32) using swankyleo's instructions for v5.0.16 http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=241610.

works a treat. pay close attention to details of the installation. good luck!

and honey, this IS the cracked version (albeit update). you must've gone wrong somewhere in the procedure coz i have done this process 3x already on different phones and they all worked okay.

Weird - after installing it needs unlock key.
If i use Binpda given 00000 then i get that this key has been used already and i need to re-enter that. No use of reentering, the message is the same.
Adobe reader 2.5LE is working fine with the same methods given first post.
Any ideas to change/delete/disable unlock key? Don't suggest reformating - done that already.

I've used the swankyleo method many times now however i get a message after installing the sis file that it "Failed to install". The new version is then applied onto my phone however upon restarting the phone the old version reverts back. Any help?

I have all of this already. I used drakarious 2.02 beta. Helocarbide, caps on, caps off and xplore 1.22. I had installed all of this 3 weeks ago and i succesfully installed any unsign and outdated applications. But this one it says file corrupted... Any advise pls..

i think this issue has already been discussed before. please go thru the thread, only 12 pages of it, to find your answer. i think it has to be upgraded first to a previous higher version before this one can be installed. please take the time to read. thanks! cheers!!!

Try downloading the 2 part files again. Maybe its not completely finish downloading.

if u have version from swankyleo installed as the topic of official registration says then just install QuickofficePU_QO_5.0.32_AM_S603.0 over it.it will be registered too.nice eh?so i guess that files inside install.zip are the same for this new (sub) version
