does anybody know how to change the language for this game?

i think you can't ,the english files are missing

install darkstar

go to registry with regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ascaron Entertainment\Darkstar One
change language to "ENG"

(if there isn't this registry entry install the patch and then make the change in registry and reinstall the patch...)

install the 1.3 eng patch (Darkstar1_3_ENG_ENU.exe)

rename voice/rus dir to voice/eng
rename video/movies/rus to video/movies/eng

delete all dirs from strings directory exept "eng"

copy the nocd...

i think this is correct , try it bye :)

(enable subtitles thru options and turn the voice volume down (there is a bug with the game 1680x1050 res doesn't work)
