Chessmaster Challenge

Overview:
Play a game, learn new strategies, or tickle your brain with Chessmaster Challenge. You can do all of it here.

Controls:
Play Chessmaster Challenge with your mouse. To make a move, click and drag a piece to a new location on the board. If the move is legal it will stay. If not, the piece will return to its previous spot on the board.

Playing Chessmaster Challenge:
There are three games in Chessmaster Challenge: Play, Learn and Fun

To get right to playing, select PLAY from the Main Menu. Before you can begin, though, you'll have to make a few choices to set up the game.

First, you must choose between ranked or training game. In a ranked game, your game performance will affect your rating. Choose training mode if you wish to play a game where you can receive hints and learn from your mistakes.

After you select the type of game you wish to play, you'll be asked to make three more choices:

1. Play Side: Choose to play as white, black, or have the game pick randomly. Be aware that in chess white always goes first.

2. Game Time: Choose the preset times of 1, 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes, or manually select any time up to 99 minutes. This time is amount of play time allotted to each player.

3. Opponent: Choose any one of the over 25 opponents to play in Chessmaster Challenge. When reviewing the opponents' portraits in Ranked Play mode, you can see how your rating will change based whether you win, lose, or have a draw.

After you make your selections, begin playing your ranked or training mode game.

To learn how to play chess, select LEARN from the Main Menu. To run a tutorial, press the button corresponding to the chapter you're interested in. Within each tutorial use the "next" and "prev" buttons to navigate, or simply type the page number you want and click "Go".

If a tutorial asks you a question, you have to click on the correct answer, click on the appropriate board square, or make the move on the board. All tutorials provide instructions on-screen. To hear the current explanation again, press "Again". To get back to the list of available tutorials, click "up". After you complete a tutorial, its title will be dimmed in the tutorial list.

Click on FUN in the Main Menu to solve puzzles. To solve a puzzle, just read the description in the Puzzle Info window, and then make the correct move. If you're stuck, click the Solve Puzzle button. If you want another puzzle, choose between the eight puzzle types then click New Puzzle button. Otherwise, you can always use the Select Random Puzzle button.

Hints & Tips:
Click the "Help File" link above for more detailed information on how to play.

When choosing an opponent, consider their rating and strategy. You choice will, after all, have an impact on your rating.

Want to learn a few new tips and strategies? Click "Learn" from the Main Menu to learn the ins and outs of Chess.

You can select from six unique chess sets in Chessmaster Challenge. Click the button that looks like a two-colored chess piece at the bottom of the game screen.

To adjust a 3D board, click and drag on a corner of the game board.

CLUE Classic

Overview:
Welcome to Tudor Mansion. Your host, Mr. Boddy, has met an untimely end at the hands of a murderer. To solve this case, you must determine the answer to three questions: Who did it? Where? And with what weapon?

Playing CLUE Classic:
There are 21 CLUE cards - nine room cards, six weapon cards, and six suspect cards. One card from each group is randomly chosen and then placed in the envelope marked "Case File CONFIDENTIAL". The case file now contains the answers to the three pertinent questions. The remaining cards are shuffled and dealt clockwise to the active players.

The game board displays the nine rooms in Tudor Mansion. Each suspect has a pre-determined "Start" space on the board. To the right of the game board is the Information Area containing your player info, CLUE cards, Detective notebook, History, and Pause Menu.

Use the Notebook to keep track of the CLUE cards you have in your hand or have been shown. You can mark the notebook with a variety of symbols and even write in your own notes.

On each turn, try to reach a different room in the mansion. Click the "Roll Dice" button to start your turn. Next, click on any highlighted square or room to move to that location.

Make a suggestion each time you enter a room. By making suggestions throughout the game, you may be able to determine -- through a process of elimination -- which three cards are in the Case File envelope. The room you are in is automatically included in your suggestion. All you have to do is select a suspect and a weapon and then click the "Make Suggestion" button.

Your opponents will have the opportunity to prove your suggestion false. If an opponent has one of the cards you named, he must show it to you and no one else. If an opponent does not have one of the cards named, the chance to prove your suggestion false moves on to the next player.

When you think you have figured out which three cards are in the Case Files envelope, you may, on your turn, make an accusation by clicking the "Make Accusation" button. Make your accusation the same way you would make a suggestion. If your accusation is correct, you win! If it is incorrect, you lose one turn as a penalty.

Hints & Tips:
First time playing CLUE Classic? Click "Help" from the Main Menu for a detailed overview of how to play.

If your opponents are blocking the door of the room you're in, you must remain there until the door is unblocked.

If you start your turn in a corner room, you can take a secret passage to the room in the opposite corner.

If you are moved to a room as a result of another player's suggestion, you may make a suggestion of your own on your turn without having to roll the dice and move.

Assume all Suspects - including yourself and non-active suspects - are potential murderers.

Suggest CLUE cards that are in your hand to gain information or mislead your opponents.

Review the game History log in the Information Area of the game to confirm your suspicions.

Hold down your spacebar to speed up your AI opponent's moves.

You can compare notes with the other players once the case is solved.

:urtheman:Domino Master GoldOverview:
Choose your favorite from seven popular domino games get ready for classic family fun.

Playing Domino Master Gold:
There are seven unique Domino games in Domino Master Gold and each has its own set of rules and guidelines. The Help Menu provides a detailed description of the rules and gameplay for each of the games, but in the meantime here is a brief explanation of the objectives:

STRAIGHT: Be the first to play all of your dominos.

ALL FIVES: Score points by making multiples of five at the ends of the train.

ALL THREES: Score points by making multiples of three at the ends of the train.

ALL FIVES AND THREES: Score points by making multiples of five or three at the ends of the train.

MEXICAN TRAIN: Be the first to play all of your dominos and receive the lowest score.

BERGEN: Score points by playing dominos that match or double the open ends.

PICTURE: Be the first to play all of your dominos.

Although each of the games is played uniquely, there are a few basics that apply to each of the games:

Dominos are placed end to end by matching the number of dots or pictures on each domino. To play a domino, drag it onto the board by clicking it and holding the Left Mouse Button. A green outline on the playing area is used to indicate legal places to make a play.

Before you begin a new game, you will be asked to set a few options in the Game Setup screen. These settings include, player name, computer skill level, domino style, domino type and more. Click the 'Advanced' button to fine tune the settings even further. Experiment with these settings to find the ones that make your Master Domino Gold experience the most fulfilling.

When starting a game the highest available double is played first automatically. If a double is not available, the domino with the highest number of dots begins. The player who dominoed the previous round begins subsequent rounds. Points can be earned on the opening moves.

While the game is being played, turns rotate clockwise from the first player. If teams are playing, teammates always sit on opposite sides of the table. A player must play if he or she can. A player with no legal moves must draw dominos from the Boneyard until a play is available. If there are no dominos in the Boneyard, the player must Pass.

Hints & Tips:
First time playing Domino Master Gold, click 'Tutorial' from the Main Menu for an interactive overview of the game. Of course, even experienced Domino players may learn a new secret or two.

Use the Options Menu in the Main Menu to adjust screen settings, volume, table surface and more.

Check all your options before placing a domino to maximize your points in point games.

Remember, some games only require you to be the first player to run out of dominos.

Hole In One
Overview:
Bet up to 5 credits on 5 different paylines. Match 3 ‘Bonus’ greens to move to the bonus screen. Collect pieces of the course map to earn additional bonuses. Run out of money or pulls and the game is over.

Playing Hole In One Slots:
Use your mouse to move around the screen. The left-click button will select anything you have the gloved hand over.

On the bottom of the screen is a list of the betting choices. You are given 100 credits and 50 pulls to start. Click the number of credits you wish to wager (between 1x and 5x). Under the credits list, is a list of paylines. Click the number of paylines you wish to activate (between 1 and 5). Click the ‘Spin’ button to spin the reels. If you roll a winner, the symbols will light up and your winnings will be deposited in your bank. Click ‘Spin’ to keep playing with the same bet, or change the amounts.

Earn extra pulls in the bonus game or with the course map.

All paylines start with the reel on the far left. Click the ‘Pay Table’ button to see a list of the winning symbols and the credits earned.

Keep track of your credits by watching the bottom left corner of the game screen. The first box displays the number of pulls you have left. The second box displays the amount you are wagering. The third box display the amount won (if any) on each spin. The bottom box displays your total amount of credits.

If you lose all your credits or your pulls, you’ll be taken to the ‘Cash Out’ screen. Here you’ll be able to view your statistics, and start a new game.

Mulligan
If you receive a caddie symbol in the last reel, you are awarded a free mulligan. Two things happen with a mulligan. First, you get to spin again without a penalty to your number of pulls. Second, you have the opportunity to employ a little strategy with that extra spin. Above each reel are hold buttons. Select which reels you’d like to re-spin by clicking the hold button, so that it changes to read ‘Spin’. You can re-spin as many as all five reels. You do not wish to re-spin, leave all the reels on ‘Hold’ status.

Bonus Game:
One of the most exciting (and potentially rewarding) features of Hole In One is the bonus game. Match 3 ‘Bonus’ greens to enter the tournament and play the bonus game. In the bonus game, click on the hole you wish to play. You will then receive a score, and a list of credits or pull bonuses. As long as your overall score stays below the cut, you can keep playing the bonus game. Go over it, though, and it’s back to the slots. Any credits and pulls you’ve earned will be added to your total at the end of the bonus round.

Course Map:
Another exciting part of Hole In One is the course map. At the top right corner of the screen is the course map. At the end of each payline, on the right hand side of the screen, is a piece of the course map. If your spin results in a win, the map piece at the end of the winning line will fill in on the map above. When all the pieces have been collected, you will earn an extra bonus. Win multipliers, extra credits, or a free ticket to the bonus round!

Hints and Tips:
Instead of clicking on the ‘Spin’ button with your mouse, just hit the ‘Enter’ key or the Spacebar on your keyboard.

‘Wild’ symbols do not count towards bonuses or jackpots.

Wonder how your rating is? Click ‘Cash Out’ to view your current statistics and rating. Click the ‘Continue’ button to return to the game.

Click the ‘Pay Table’ button to see a list of the winning symbols and the credits earned.:urtheman:

Mega Monty

Overview:
Spin the wheel and cross your fingers. You're going to need strategy and luck to succeed at Mega Monty. Can you clear the scoreboard?

Controls:
Click the Spin button to start the Roulette wheel spinning. As it spins, click the "Select" button to select your five slots. To discard slots, click on them in the reel. Then, spin the discarded slots and select new ones.

To cash in your hand, click the value on the scoreboard your want to apply your hand to, and click the "Cash In" button. If you do not want to cash in your hand, or don't have a hand to cash in, click the "Pass" button.

Note: These are the controls for Mega Monty. Monty is played the same way, but in a slightly simplified version.

Playing Mega Monty:
There are two game modes in Mega Monty: Monty and Mega Monty.

In MONTY, each game has four rounds. Spin the Roulette Wheel and select your slots. Discard up to five slots and spin again. In the first round, you will only be going for two-of-a-kind slots. In each round, higher hands are allowed.

In MEGA MONTY, there are no rounds. Play as many hands as you can while trying to complete the board. The objective is to score all possible hands for all the slot symbols. Can you clear the entire scoreboard? If you pass on a hand, or don't have a play available, you will be given a strike. Three strikes and it's game over. A played hand, however, clears all strikes.

At the bottom of the screen of both modes are the House Discards. These are available after the first spin only. If one of these symbols lights up, it means you can use it in your hand. Click on the symbol to add it. That means one slot you don't have to spin for!

Hints & Tips:
In Monty mode, you'll go for poker hands like the full house. In Mega Monty, you'll just go for as many instances of one symbol as possible.

Don't be hesitant to pass on hands at the beginning of the game. 2's and 3's are easier to get than 4's and 5's. Use this time to go for the hands you really need and save the easy ones for last.

Any successfully played hand will clear your board of any strikes. At the beginning of the game, you can safely afford a strike or two, as a simple pair will clear all the strikes you've built up.

Don't forget to check the House Discards for the hand you're looking for. It just might be the key to your success.
