I add: put the file "installer.Exe" in C / sys / bin and restarted the telephone, is not necessary to activate caps off or disable caps in rom patcher to be able to install the files unsigned! The installation perfectly happens without disabling the protections. This on N73 Me LATEST Firmware.

I also confirm that it works on N73 Music Edition. I have latest firmware you can see on right and it works perfectly. Also the other hack changeswipolicy patch it did allowed me to install some of unsigned apps but programs like jbak taskman and coreplayer were unable to install unsigned with the help of that hack on the other hand this hack works perfectly. I just installed jbak taskman unsigned. :egdance:

Yes! Installserver.exe is to the moment the best solution to certify file unsigned in OS PRE-FP1. It doesn't ask for the disable of the protections to work because the telephone loads the file to every reboot. You compliment to the author of installserver.exe and to the friend that has attached it here on ipmart forum! This is a thread of fundamental importance!

2. Nope. In data transfer mode i see only my memory card in the pc, as you should too. The point is that you need to have hacked your phone, so you can browse to C:\sys\bin with any file explorer and copy the installserver.exe there.

I can`t seem to get this to work i copied the 9,2 installserver.exe to C:\SYS\BIN and i still cant install unsigned .sis files

I used the other way before, *(copying key.key and cert.cer to that EC696702 folder under private. And it worked for a while, but suddenley stopped, anny idea ?

Change ur DATE AND TIME SETTINGS bak like a Year and Try it out

Well if itz a Phone theme itz under Settings, General then Personalization under themes shuld b there thn just apply it

Well....luck dosent last long:confused: I succeded to transfer 2 themes and one game but now I just get a certificate error on my phone...this is strange.

I was fine with signing files and installing them but since I got my E51 and I couldn't make a cert for it I had to use the trick with the special keycert and 00000001 files which was a bit annoying, but now with this I can install any app without having to sign at all! I love it! It's just like the good old days of my 7610 and N-Gage before s60v3 with no bloody annoying signing stuff!

It wont let me Rep+ for this but thanx for helping kill off the stupid s60v3 restrictions! :partyman:

For those who can not find bin folder, you must install x-plore & hellocarbide in your phone memory. You can't find C:/Sys/bin folder if you install this x-plore/hellocarbide it in your MMC card.

You can also delete the installserver if you want. And no problem uninstalling any installed apps using this process. This is only a reply saying that you can't uninstall apps when applying with installserver in your phone.

After the process you have to reboot your phone.

Confirmed working N73 ME. Installed any unsigned apps with different cracked team. REP++ added. Thanks. :)

OMG, you guys! there are no words that could express the happiness you brought me! i was so pissed last week. its also working on my n95-8gb,there is no problem!!

It works well on N82, fw 20.0.062.
But playing n-gage games seems to be impossible after using this. Even after restart the games still wont start. Do I have to replace the installserver or something to play them again?

1. Install "Hello Carbide.sisx" then open it.
2. Run a file manager like X-plore or Y-browser (let it open).
3. Now open "Hello Carbide" and select "Menu1" from Options menu then select Yes.
4. Switch back to X-plore and copy " installserver.exe " into C:\sys\bin\
5. Restart your phone.

it didnt work on my n95 8gb with latest firmware 20.0.016 :( ,it says file corrupted,i was so looking forward to this,hope there a fix,cheers.

But it does works on my friend N95-8GB....

You can find Installserver.exe in
Z:\sys\bin and i wondering how do they change default installserver.exe? Any ideas?

I have Nokia N80 and have tried all the steps. However I am facing a very peculiar problem. The installeserver.exe is in C:\SYS\bin. When I try to open it in X-plore, I get an error "No viewer found".

Appreciate some help with this error.

hi guys sometimes i get the error 'installation of *software* is not supported'. anyone know why?

one more thing, sometimes when i exit an application i will get the error 'App. closed: *software* XApp - HandleCom 1'. weird!!
