Sorry guys, my bad. The cracked worked for me because i was using options file from a previous fully enabled version. I have updated the files and it should work properly now. I have tested this on a clean install this time and it works for me.
I have updated the file in the original post. Please give it another try and let me know how it goes.
Remember to restart once u have replaced the files with the cracked version.

Hello:
I already installed iLog 1.1.2 from the following source: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
And then tried the crack provided by studguy1 (latest one), when i open iLog, it freezes for some time then closes, no warning nothing. Means the crack is not working. Is there any other source to install the iLog 1.1.2?
One more thing, I am unable to uninstall iLog, when i try to do so, I get a script error, what can I do? In case I can uninstall it manually, what files should I remove in order to get rid of it without messing up the phone because I previously tried and the iPhone is not turning on anymore.
Help is much appreciated.

Hello again studguy1,
Can you please upload (or attach in a PM) the full iLog.app folder you are using. I faced a problem now in iLog and versions 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 are messed up together and I am not being able to uninstall it as i mentioned previously. So maybe if i replace the whole iLog.app folder, things would work or at least I can uninstall it. It's taking memory without being able to benefit from it.
Help is much appreciated.
Regards.

Ibassil ,
Do you have ssh access to your iPhone? Did You integrate iLog by enabling the 'Replace Recents' Option?
It is possible the permissions for iLog are not correct. If you can ssh into the iPhone then run the following commands at the command prompt
In fact I do have ssh access to the iPhone (through WinSCP). But i have never ran any commands, it is straight forward? I remember there is a button to open the command prompt, is it the case?
Did You integrate iLog by enabling the 'Replace Recents' Option?
In fact, I dont know what does 'Replace Recents' mean? Can you please clarify? All what I did is to open the iLog.app folder in the Applications folder using WinSCP, and then drag to the two files contained in the crack, and replace them there. After this, the iLog is not working anymore, and I am not being able to uninstall it.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks again.

1. Connect to your iPhone using WinSCP and browse to the /Application/iLog.app folder
2. Look under the 'rights' column and make sure both iLog and LogHook.dylib are 'rwxr-xr-x' , if not then right click on the iLog file and select 'Properties'. now check all the 'X' checkboxes and save. Do the same for iLogHook.dylib.
See the attached images of how the Properties of iLog and iLogHook.dylib should look.

Hello studguy1,
Thanks for your reply. In fact, I did what you said, but I am still unable to uninstall iLog. Whenever I click on uninstall, I get the pop-up that it's a trial version, and the pop-up will remain on the screen, then after some time the iLog app opens (eventhough i was trying to remove it) and can not close it anymore. The issue here is that I installed the version 1.1.2 and replaced the iLog.app by the version 1.1.1 by mistake, so the installation got messed up. Can you please tell me how can I remove it manually? Or just email me the folder iLog.app in order to replace mine and then be able to uninstall it?
Thanks again.

Hello again studguy1,
Just to let you know that I was able to fix it, I downloaded the full iLog.app source from the net, replace the one on my iPhone with the fresh copy, then replaced the two cracked files and everything is going fine.
Thanks a lot for the continuous support.
One small question: is there a way to be able to backup the apps of the iphone in order to avoid re-installing everything each time we do a restore?
Thanks again.

Replacing the iLog.app folder wont help. Here are the steps to uninstall iLog manually. Be extremely careful and make sure u understand all the steps before attempting anything.
1. Start WinSCP and copy the '/System/Library/LaunchDemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist' from the iphone to your computer.
2. Make a backup of com.apple.SpringBoard.plist
3. Edit com.apple.SpringBoard.plist using a good text editor like Notepad++ or Editpad (windows notepad doesnt render it properly)
4. Delete the following lines from the file and save the file
In this case only remove the entry for iLogHook.dylib
5. copy back the modified com.apple.SpringBoard.plist to /System/Library/LaunchDemons' directory
6. Delete the following Files and Folders
/Applications/iLog.app
/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.ahoruzhiy.iphone.ilog.plist
7. Restart the iphone.
If the iphone works ok and there is no iLog icon then u have successfully unistalled iLog.

Hello again studguy1,
One small question: is there a way to be able to backup the apps of the iphone in order to avoid re-installing everything each time we do a restore?

Rgds.
Most application create a folder called something.app in /Applications directory and a plist file in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences. Copying these back to the iphone should be enough to restore most applications. The plist file is not necessary as it only stores the preferences and most applications create a default one if it is not present.
This wont work for applications which integrate themselves into to the system for example Summerboard, Customize etc. You need to re-install them from the installer.
You can also check out an application called TimeCapsule . It allows you to backup a lot of stuff, although i haven't used it personally.

Hi studguy1,
Thanks for the important info you provided. I am glad to know such interesting details. Keep up the good work!
You seem expert, I want to take your opinion in one more issue: I have read a lot on the net about moving the Applications folder to another location in order to free up some memory space. You know that the space for apps is limited to 300 mb, so the warning message that we are running out of space keeps on popping up on the screen. Have you tried any of the mentioned solutions, or any application that worked for you that frees come space for additional apps?
Thanks again.
Your help is much appreciated.

I have used BossTool (available from Installer) to relocate my fonts and ringtones. This frees up plenty of space (~90mb) . I would advise against moving Applications for multiple reasons. First of all Bosstool doesnt move applications properly and messes things up. Secondly some application stop working properly if they are moved. Thirdly moving applications doesnt give you much free space anyway.
You can also use Cydia to relocate the fonts etc. but i haven't used it personally. Also do not use BossTool if you have installed/used Cydia.
Things to remember:
- It is difficult to undo the changes made by BossTool and usually you have to do it manually. Trying to undo stuff through Bosstool can also mess things up. Better to leave it alone once u have made the changes.
- Apparently Kate and Bosstool dont play nice with each other. Dont do Bosstool if you have Kate installed.
- Its still a risky operation and you should do it only if necessary
- Backup all important stuff before doing it.

Hello,
As usual, thanks for the help. In fact I heard about BossTools, and tried it 2 days ago. I moved the Fonts and Ringtones, and did a restart to the iPhone, but unfortunately the iPhone got corrupted. I read about this issue, seems many others have faced this same problem, but on the other hand, others tried it and BossTools worked on their phones. (when i tried it, it freed like a 100 mb). In fact I feel afraid to redo the work eventhough I do not have Kate installed. As you said, when it becomes urgent, I will give BossTool a second try. Currently I am fine with the 300 mb space :).
Thanks again studguy1, you were very helpful.

Hi!
Thanks for the crack, but now my problems is I realized I have iLog 1.0.1 and it doesn't apply to me.
I uninstalled it and went on to download 1.1.2, but I've been desperately looking the complete software and it is nowhere to find! Could you please post it here? iLeks has only 1.0.1 on the official website!
Please help me! I really like this program!
Thanks!

Hey thanks, studyguy!! I was so obsessed with doing it over WinSCP that I forgot to update the source!! I only saw the 1.0.1 version, but now it's all working cleanly.
Thanks again, you're the best!

Thats because whichever repo you added that has the crack may be down. You can download the cracked files and copy them over to iphone manually like everybody else.
