It just started happening suddenly.
I just have an sand clock, and the device keeps turning off and on, and when it's on it stays on sand clock. It happens every 20-30 seconds.

Any ideas how to hard reset this thing ?

No Hard reset avilable for Blackberry.

first try to without sim and memory if same thing happens to you again and again.

Now you can try to update your device software.
