i think they are both same mate. i updated to 1.2.4-1 and used the file that i upload. and when i refreshed the sources there were no update for videorecorder

The installer does not check the iphonevideorecorder file to find the version installed. It uses its own database to see the last version it installed and check if there is a new version available.

There is a new version 1.2.4.1 and it is different from 1.2.4

Hi Imran

Firstly you need an Iphone that has been Jailbroken search the web and you will find the tool to do this, I used IFuntastic, which is free to download and use.

You can find it here [Only registered and activated users can see links] I should say this is for the Mac operating system if you use windows you will need a different tool.

Once your phone is jailbroken just follow the instructions on the first post.

Connect to the iPhone via sftp, go to the Applications Folder and from there to the VideoRecorder.app Folder - you'll find inside a file called iphonevideorecorder; replace it with the one tcourb posted, give it execute permissions (755) and you're in business.
