Plz anyone help me. My ext HDD corrupted when i plug in to usb port come this error message (windows corrupt file) then (windows delayed write) after this my ext HDD still exist in my computer but when i try to open it come this error mesej: F:/ is not accessible
semaphore tmeout period has expired
did anyone know how to fix this problem....?

I have seen this kind of problem with my friends HDD also,
HDD will be fine only problem will be with the circuit which is connected to HDD i.e. which is used to convert IDE to USB.
just change IDE to USB circuit it will work fine...

but my external harddisk is SATA western digital caviar 500gb.

Problem will be with ur USB device on system, which is not giving enough bandwidth or voltage or power to external HDD.
Try to connect to ur friends pc..and find out..if still problem exists take it to service center...

Dude it's not working.. i already test it in some pc...
i won't send to service center because i have private file inside..
did anyone still knows how to resolve this please..?
If your willing to erase your hdd, just plug it directly on your motherboard then format it.
Or you can try recovery softwares. Check PC Application Section.
