TOTAL HIDER by wook

Now you can either hide your whole menu, or specific apps from prying eyes!!!

*This app requires you to have python installed on your phone as well as platform security to be turned off ( FCA hack/ capsOff )*

Once you have permissions enabled, refer to the instructions below:

A) For those who don't have menu hider v0.01 already installed :

1.Download and unzip the files in the rar.
2.Install !_v0_0_2.sis to the same memory that python is installed to.
3.Install -_v0_0_3.sis also to the same memory that python is installed to.
4.The default password is 'symbian-freak'
5.The menu is pretty self-explanatory, for hiding specific apps, just select the memory its installed to, and select
from the list


B) For those who already have menu hider installed:

never mind ,my problem is solved .it turned out that python wasn't really installed .i could see the icon but when i go to the applications manager it doesn't show it so i reinstalled it.one more thing ,after i enable hiding menu it doesn't do anything until i restart the phone but when i enable it ,it shows immediatly.is that normal or what?

i installed v0.0.1 and the app doesn`t open. i upgraded to v0.0.3 an the same. i have nokia n73, latest firmware with python 1.4.3.3, disabled caps and created the folders in c: and e:. any tips in getting it to work? thanks in advance

Okay... Do like this:

Unistall menu hider.

Install it again by this steps:

v.001, v.002, patch version and then v.003.

and If everything goes allright the menu hider will prompt the password and the password is symbian-freak.

try it.

dont forget capsoff must be enable

everythig went good, no error. i installed just like u said. they were all installed in e: (python also), caps off and menu hider does not start (no psw prompt). anyways thanks for u`r time and help. i`ll just wait for the next update (if there will be one)

I think problem comes in latest version of hider coz both old version prompt for installation directory(I choose mmc) nd latest one goes automatically into phone memory during installation....acording to me it was the problem with me...what about you.

just installed python, script shell and me v0.0.1. same story, app wont start. ill install v.0.0.2+patch and then v0.0.3 then post back

dont forget to create the folders too has explained in first post.

v0.0.3 installed, it opens but still cant hide menu. how can i restart the manu? it does not show up in handy taskman. in best taskman it says "its forbiden to close this application"

Just wait like 30 sec (max) and click in menu button.

If do nothing, restart the phone and should work.

i dont get it either. i followed all the steps and i think i tried everything possible to get it to work. jbak has an option do disable the menu. when u press the menu key nothig happens :). ur help is appreciated and sorry if i wasted ur time.

for the guys that didn`t make a shortcut - try to open menu hider via a taskmanager. if that doesn`t work try reseting you phone to factory settings. good luck!

factory setting doesnt accepting the code.

It seems you guys are in trouble :)

Let me help you...

First run the menu hide,

symbian-freak is the password if you guys dont change it...

Now, capsoff

enable the menu and should appear a message to restart the menu in a few seconds...

Probably this wont work (I can figure why yet), so waht should you guys do

when restart your menu appears in stead off restart the menu you shut down the phone.

Now when you guys start it again the menu shoul be there, If not, do the same steps above but this time without shut down the phone, wait a few seconds (15 sec.) and press the menu button.

Don't forget tho disable capsoff every time you guys want to apply any change to the menu.

i got it back to work, if you lost the menu and cant get it back, just keep trying to 'disable'... after about 30 times it worked again out of nothing!
there is also some path, but i dont know exactly what or what drive, but if you delete that path you get the menu back to if you lost it...
c:\private\10003a3f\import\apps\hack_reg.rsc
i believe its this one, if you delete this you get your menu back
so no needs to format!

AS my friend told me now after recovering his menu....
Pythan was installed in fone memory and where as menuhider was in card.
now he again installed menuhider in fone memory,caps off and got it back via jbak task man and disbled it.:excited:

so no feedback of ur new advise from my side ;),hope2c others if it help them.

*Make warning in red font wid big latters as a 1st step;) 2 prevent occurence again.

I SOLVED!so,the problem was:the pythons installed in memory card!so,i have disinstalled the pythons from e:\ and i have installed them in c:\ again.Then i have installed in sequence 0.0.1, 0.0.2 and 0.0.3 in c:\ , ever!now if i click upper the icon, the app works and asks to me the password!now..i correcet the error in the n80 also.Thanks:ilove:

i have 6120c with python on sd, and the app doesn't start :-(

it's work perfect on my phone....
but don't forget to add binpda secman in active standby...
when i'm using this apps, my menu totally hidden...
but this apps only working when i turn Platt security OFF..
be carefull, if you enable hidden menu and then restart your phone , you can't disable hidden menu without TURN PLAT SECURITY OFF..
furtunatelly , i succes solved my problem...
