Everywhere on this forum I see rapidshare links, now thats not problem with me since I have a premium account. However if you do download alot I know you might have checked in to "free" accounts or ways to download such as downloading a special cookie so rapidshare thinks your a premium user. Soo for the frustrated people here are some tips and my method,

dont,

1. dont use programs like Jdownloader
2. dont bother going on websites that offer free premium account
3. dont bother with "usernames" and "passwords" givin on websites
4. dont bother downloading a "cookie" from a premium user to trick rapidshare in to thinking your a premium user.
5. dont waste time in setting up a proxy server

what I have found that works best,

1. flicking my dsl router on/off
doing this always gives me a new IP address, meaning the file I just downloaded was logged on a different IP, thus I can download another file and keep repeating the step.
2. do this method at night when Rapidshare Happy Hours are acitivated, this helps out alot instead of waiting 3 minutes and entering a Captcha code.

HOWEVER, I have read that some people get the same IP address after they turn their router off, soo all I can say is I have Verizon DSL and it works.

also read about people using command line to flush their DNS however it never worked for me so give it a shot and reply back,

@echo off
echo ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /flushdns
echo ipconfig /release
ipconfig /release
echo ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /renew
exit

Replys greatly appreciated

some people get the same IP address after they turn their router off bcoz they have static ip...

@echo off
echo ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /flushdns
echo ipconfig /release
ipconfig /release
echo ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /renew
exit

only applicable for dynamic ip ...
