I have a problem with this GMA 945
I would like to play games that require a 128mb graphics card or 256. What I got was a Pc that has the GMA 945 Chipset family which goes up to only 64mb graphics has no shader vortex and some other stuff that you need to play games with.

I have updated it with the latest drivers but it still stays at 64 MB is there any way I can get the GMA shipset to get more ram. ??? I am totally lost here. I do not have the Disk for it either.

I looked at some graphic cards and I need a PCI-E card and they cost around 300 dollars Canadian to get.

You mean you only have up to 64mb display on builtin vga?

Drivers will do nothing for this. Try BIOS update or you have no choice, buy a PCI-E card.

Thanks Myk! for the fast response. :good2: It's built in Graphics Accelerator So I guess it can only go up to 64Mb. I allready updated the Bios and everything else in it. So I guess that means I really have a Crappy Graphics. LOL! :roflmao:

The one good thing about this is that I can take the PC back and get an entirily new one. :excited: Its just that I really did not want to do that. :confused: Becuase the Processor in this PC is good enough to play the games I want. :good2:

But its better then spending 300.00 dollars on a Graphics card

You dont even need to buy a PCI-E card. Just select a good mother board with built-in graphics.

I only using built-in video with up to 256mb geforce video ;) And of course, I have a option to put PCI-E if I have extra money.
