ok now it is finally possible to use all 4 media keys ( forward , play , stop, rewind)
just use the wonderfull application from OPDA calles magickey 1.0 beta :)
you can remap forward and rewind to any other keys like the numpad... this way you can play fifa really good ;)
I can post a tutorial movie if you want hehe

!!! after mapping , close the magickey app , not run it at background atherwis eit won't take effect ;) !!!

EDIT:

ok here is a short tutorial how to remap for example the Number 3 key to the multimedia forward key for all application .. you can shoose for Ngage applikation only , too ;)

It completely overrides the default functions of the media keys and makes them just do what you map them to!

I am so happy now cause I will b able to play all my emulators in landscape and DOOM and Quake and everything!!!

Is there any way to map the keys for N-Gage games only? I want to map my Volume keys, but, if I remap for all applications, the normal phone usage will be hampered. Actually, in the application selection, N-Gage games don't show up (probably for the reason that they are run by .EXEv files, and this one lists only conventional .EXE files). Probably in the next version, there will be this improvement.

u have to close magickey after setting...if u hide in background it won't work ;)

the games for Ngage are not shown in the programm app :( for other apps it is working , like skyforce or vbag etc :(

Yeah i did that.. Still doesnt work.. You have to set it in the default to be able to use the mapped keys in ngage..

guys....i'm trying to map the keys so that multimedia keys work for vBAGx v 1.25 (so that can play in landscape mode)...but, the keys just don't seem to be responding even after i've closed the magickey app...any suggestions?

If you use the green calling button before mapping the key, you can chose the key to map instead of searching. For example if you want to map the play key to "1", press GREEN chose play, press GREEN and chose 1. This works very well.

I Can't Get It To Work!. I Installed It And Maped The Keys For vBag, But When I Try The MultiMedia Keys With vBag, It Doesn't Work. The Play Button Still Opens The MusicPlayer.

thanks matze...it works now. but its a pain to have to keep switching the profile back and forth from default key list to which ever key profile you want yeah.isn't there anyway we can assign the key map profiles only to certain applications like the way the magickey app has been developed to do???

you can map it for numpad : key 1: 49 up to key 9: 57

for example ;)

but you don't need to type the keymap code.. just hit the middle key of your joystick and it will open a Catalog of all key you can map ;) you can even search for the keys..

the one u wrote are for N95 not n81 it does not run on n81

Using This Apps To Check Out The KeyMap's Address... Like That You No Need Test With Each Number On The MagicKey! Please record the key address because this apps need to Uninstall after you use it!

This is what I need. But I can't figure out what I am doing wrong!
I signed, installed - worked fine. The program runs smooth.
I changed the keys how I wanted them, selected the key map I made and closed the add. Started an emulator, tried to jump (with Play button)- and the music player started.
Didn't have any effect.

What did I wrong?

bro on "app list" press 1 then choose the n-gage app then assign the keymap on your "keymap list" that you made then exit, run n-gage app, sure it will work...

Nah, I'm telling you, it has no effect for me on my N95. I may do something wrong but I can't see what.

My problem is that when i run the program it loads fine but when i select the program i want to map keys to eg. vSun the the magickey program just quits out and doesnt save anything. works great but i havnt had success with mappin play button to 5 and stop button to 4 anc c to 0 button.. for FIFA... i used volume up for 5 and volume down for 4..

In magickey apps, you just can use default Key map for function. don't not try to use another key map which create by you!

For Marjoe, Change Play key to '5' Key : Play key address = 184, '5' key = 53 and '4' key = 52, '0' key address = 48 or 58.. (i forget which one is zero already la!)
