These screenshots came from my N71 phone.

I have extracted the N-Gage Patch that came with the BiNPDA version, and separated them so you could install them separately. Take note that only the 3 patches (FIFa08, System Rush Evolution, and Pro Series Golf) are the patches for Pre-FP1 and FP-1 phones, which can also be used on FP-2 phones. The others are just compatibility fix for FP-2 phones.

The Pro Series Golf patch only works on N-Gage application 1.01 Build 1281 and maybe to 1296 too.. But NOT on the newest repack...

I have also included LCG X-plore on the archive so no more question on what file explorer to use. Ok?

Yes. This is the very first necessary thing to do. If you don't do this and you have a non-official compatible phone, then you won't be able to install and play it. My repacks are NOT in any way signed, or just simple to say, they are UNSIGNED. I don't and won't give time to sign it, just because the tutorial already gives you the ability to install any UNSIGNED application. You yourself can find your own way to sign it.

Always make a back-up of all the files and folder in ("C:\private\20007b39"). Then place it back again, overwrite, to bring it back. this is good when updating the N-Gage application or changing phones.

This is due to that your IMEI and some informations on your phone are also embedded on your account. Back-up all the files and folder in "C:\private\20007b39". Then place it back again. I don't think this will work when changing phones, because of the IMEIs conflict. You will need to "un-hook" your phone account to your IMEI, by asking for the administrator on the official N-Gage forum.

I suggest you not to do this, because this is sometimes the culprit of having an "KERN-EXEC 3" and or "USER-EXEC 3" error. But if you really insist, I suggest you change this file before you play or open your N-Gage application FOR THE FIRST TIME. Use n73_20001079.txt for Pre-FP1 phones. But if your phone is FP-1, try using n81_20001079.txt. If it still doesn't work, use either 6110_5700XM_6120c_20001079.txt or n82_20001079.txt. Then, try to delete this file: ("C:\Private\10202be9\persists\20001079.cre").

This is sometimes due to improper 20001079.txt placed on your phone or there is nothing placed yet. If your phone is Pre-FP1, use either the 20001079.txt for 3250, E70, N73, N93 / N93i, I prefer the one for N73. If your phone is FP1, use either the one for 6290, N76, N81, N95 / N95i / N95 PR2, I prefer the one for N81. If this doesn't work, it is sometimes caused by the different hardwares and softwares of the phone. Some phones can't play all the games (non N-Series and E-Series phones). Try asking on where you downloaded the game and see if they have a fix for this.

Sometimes these are due to misnamed access points. Always check for it and access points should not have " ' " (apostrophe). Just to be sure, do not place any special characters on it.

> Why does it say "Out of memory"?
I suggest that you restart your phone before (not necessarily after) playing any N-Gage games. A fresh restart means -> fresher, cleaner memory RAM of the phone -> cleaner memory RAM, means faster phone response (loading). And N-Gage 2.0 takes a lot of RAM to start. This should also fix the error "Not enough memory". And make sure that there's no much applications eating your memory on the background.

You can set your N-Gage profile, update online, and play on N-Gage Arena. But I suggest not going to, keep in-mind that every software/application that is cracked is illegal, and some people are having problems with it.

Yes, you can.

If you've followed my tutorial, you won't have this kind of problem. Just make sure that you've followed everything CORRECTLY! And if you followed it, and this error appears, this is sometimes due to corrupted game file that you've downloaded, make sure you've downloaded it correctly, properly and is found working.

No. You just have to repeat chapter 3 when installing games for the N-Gage 2.0.

No. You only have to install this once and this will work for all BiNPDA cracked N-Gage games.

The extract to pc button does not notify you if the file is already extracted, it is extracted at the same directory where you've opened the .exe game installer.

> Can I uninstall HelloCarbide after I'm done with it?
Yes, you can if you think you won't need HelloCarbide anymore. But I suggest not to, cause we are going to need it in backing up files.

No. As far as I've known, this is only for Nokia phones.

Definitely, NO. The one important file here that let's N-Gage application run is the Symbian OS PIPS, that is only available for S60v3 phones. Saying that, it won't be able to run on S60v2 even if you repack it. Let's just hope someone could hack it. And the other thing is the RAM that N-Gage application eats, 10~20Mb RAM. As far as I know, the largest S60v2 RAM has is only 15~20MB of RAM, and that is N70. Still it won't work.

Step 1 - Backing-up your game progress, save data
Secure and copy all the files and folders in ("C:\private\20007b39"). Check Chapter 1 - Step 2 on how to get to the private parts of the phone.

Step 2 - Un-install previous N-Gage application and Games
First un-install all your N-Gage Games then your previous N-Gage application. You could try to restart your phone before going to the next step, or just go with it.

Step 3 - Install the latest N-Gage application and Games
Follow the tutorial and install the latest N-Gage application that you can find, preferably my repack. Then install the games that you previously had. Don't forget the patches.

Step 4 - Recovering your datas
Place back our backed-up files and folders in ("C:\private\20007b39"), then overwrite. Enjoy!

For further questions, read first the FAQs. If not answered there, then ask questions on the thread.

Here in my step-by-step tutorial, not only it will let you install N-Gage 2.0 on your phone, but it will let you install almost all UNSIGNED/EXPIRED-CERTIFICATE applications!!! That's right! you read it right, UNSIGNED APPLICATIONS!!! But you can also use my old tutorial found on the archive, that doesn't have the ability to install UNSIGNED applications.
(I've renamed some of the files or mostly of the files for it to be easily recognized, again)

Phone firmware must NOT be updated to the latest version!!!

Details:
InstallServer.exe is a file that helps you install almost ANY APPLICATION that you can get. A very important file for you and me. Secure the one that you need and extract it.

2. N-Gage 1.10 Build 1318.sisx
Details:
This is the N-Gage 2.0 Application released on August 26, 2008 officially for Nokia 5320 XpressMusic and N96, that I have repacked. You must have atleast free ~6Mb on your phone memory even if you install this on your memory card.

3. 20001079.txt
Details:
As I've found out on my own experiments, this file can be found or cannot be found on your phone (regarding which phone model you have). This file houses every (I think) screen resolutions handling your phone has, giving you the ability to play on landscape or not. In my opinion, it is not best to overwrite this file if you already have it. Put it this way, you have your own default phone settings (your phone own resolutions) then replacing it with other phones default phone settings (could be different resolutions and settings). Not a good idea isn't it?

4. N-Gage_Patch_xxxx.sis
Details:
BiNPDA patch file. This file replaces the "trial bar" to a "progress bar" on the N-Gage application, works ONLY for BiNPDA cracked games.

5. LCG X-plore
Details:
I have included this file explorer and it's keygen on the archive so you don't have to ask on what file explorer to use. Got it?

6. Hello_Carbide_by_FCA00000.sisx
Details:
An on-phone hack made by FCA00000. This gives you the ability to disable the Platinum Security of your phone, much the same as BiNPDA's Security Manager v1.0. The difference is BiNPDA's Security Manager is acquired through MetroTRK or AppTRK, which the new firmwares are not compatible with, leaving them not able to install N-Gage 2.0. BUT, HelloCarbide is a .sisx installer that can be installed through the phone, manually, giving those who has new firmwares the power to be hacked. YES!!!
NOTE!!!
As of my experience, the only way to bring back to default is by restarting the phone. This file must not be used lightly unless you know what you are doing. Use on any other purposes besides the one being said on my tutorial AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Special Tutorial for the REAL N-Gage 2.0 compatible phones
For N-Gage 2.0 compatible phones (N81, N81-8gb, N82, N95, N95-8gb, 5320 XpressMusic) (firmware must be updated to the latest version), download the latest version on the official website for your phone, then follow these steps:
1. Install the official N-Gage 2.0 Launcher on your phone.
2. Follow all steps in Chapter 1.
3. Follow Chapter 2 - Step 2 ONLY.
4. Follow all steps in Chapter 3.

*CHAPTER 1* = *Preparing for instalment*

Step 1 - "Installing HelloCarbide.sis"
Install HelloCarbide either on your phone or memory card. After it's done, you'll noticed that you have a new application called HelloCarbide (without an icon). Don't open yet.

Step 2 - "Applying the proper InstallServer.exe"
I assume that you already have installed LCG X-plore, if not, install it first. Now open lLCG X-plore (must enable "Show Hidden files and Show system files/folders"), DO NOT EXIT but switch (press and hold the menu button) to your standby mode then open HelloCarbide. You'll notice that it has no welcome screen or what-not, just press Options -> Menu1 -> Yes. If done correctly it will close itself. Now you have all the capabilities on your phone, much as BiNPDA's Security Manager. Now switch back to LCG X-plore. (You must not open any other application other than LCG X-plore). Copy the proper InstallServer.exe on ("C:/sys/bin") (if there is no "bin" folder, then make one). Exit from LCG X-plore. Do not do anything else, just restart your phone. Move on to installing N-Gage 2.0.

*CHAPTER 2* = *Installing the N-Gage launcher to your phone*

Step 1 - "Installing the N-Gage application"
Install the N-Gage application to your phone or memory card. Continue installing the application by always approving on the warnings, and the missing OS pipes.

Step 2 - "Installing the N-Gage Patch"
Just install it.

Step 3 - "Copy 20001079.txt to private parts of the phone a.k.a. HACKING the phone"
You can skip this step if your phone is either 3250, 6290, E70, N73, N76, N81, N93 / N93i, N95 / N95i / N95 PR2.. Now check the FAQ above about playing games in landscape mode. Secure the xx_20001079.txt that you are going to use and rename it to 20001079.txt. (I would suggest that use only the ones for your corresponding phone.) First open LCG X-plore (must enable "Show Hidden files and Show system files/folders"), DO NOT EXIT but switch (press and hold the menu button) to your standby mode then open HelloCarbide. Press Options -> Menu1 -> Yes. If done correctly it will close itself. Now switch back to LCG X-plore. (You must not open any other application other than LCG X-plore). Copy the 20001079.txt that you are going to use to ("C:/private/10202be9/"). Overwrite if needed. Exit from LCG X-plore. Do not do anything else, just restart your phone.

*CHAPTER 3* = *Installing the N-Gage 2.0 games*

(There are quite some difference from BiNPDA's necessary game instalment, to my way of BiNPDA games instalment. Either way, you could follow whichever you want. If you want to follow mine, read on.)

Step 1 - "BiNPDA games"
You should have downloaded or got the BiNPDA games by now. And you should come up with the game installer. If not, I think you should ask somebody about it from where to get it here and what to do about it.

Step 2 - "Game transfer" <- the difference
You must now got the game installers (xxxxx.exe files), and BINPDA told you to install it via MetroTRK connection. But I found a better, faster way (I guess, for me, because my computer doesn't have any USB 2.0 Port. And installing via MetroTRK took me 20mins+ just transferring the .n-gage files. Yeah, it's pretty outdated, I mean, REALLY outdated) So on to the procedure, don't connect your phone to your pc just yet. Open the game installer that you've found (make sure it's BINPDA cracked). Install it just as you would have connected your phone to the pc. Click the check boxes: got n-gage application, and no need to install BiNPDA SecMan application. Now you're in the MetroTRK automatic com port detection, just click next. then it will say that MetroTRK could not connect to phone, and then you'll see that there's an option saying that you could extract the file to the pc. What the hell?! So just extract it to the pc, the file will be on the directory where you've opened the game installer. Now all you need to do is transfer the .n-gage files to your memory card in "E:/n-gage/" (if there's no "n-gage" folder, then make it). Now you got games? Yes, but not yet installed. Move on.

Step 3 - "Installing the .n-gage files"
You can now install games without any hassle of activating anything. As I have told you, you can now install almost all or any UNSIGNED applications/games on your phone!! Open N-Gage launcher. It could take about 5-10secs for loading. But hey, now you've opened it, wait for the “Preparing installation” warning to finish, but you still got no games. Press right on your keypad, you should see all your "to-be playable" games but only they are a little bit blurred. No worries, just click one up and it will ask you where to install. And after it is done feel free to play on or restart your phone, either way, you can now play.

And we are done!!! First of all, congratulation! Now you have installed your N-Gage 2.0 Launcher and games. But have you noticed? You can now install almost any or all UNSIGNED applications that you can find!!! Who's your daddy huh?

-= Doing a hard format =-
1. Back up all your important data (i.e. Images, Sounds, Videos, etc.) MANUALLY. Not by PC-Suite or something.
2. Format the phone and the memory card SEPARATELY.
3. Format the phone using this: (I call this, an S60v1/v2/v3 phone's Self-Healing)
*#7370# - Input on standby mode.
OR
Turn off the phone. Then PRESS and HOLD the Green Button + Number 3 + Symbol "*" (asterisk/star) SIMULTANEOUSLY. Turn on the phone. Keep holding until the phone asked you to input which country you reside.
4. Format the Memory Card via Card Reader on the PC having the FAT disk attribute.
5. After formatting the phone, and the memory card. Put back the memory card again on the phone. Then format the Memory Card again using your phone. (Just to be safe)
6. Bring back all your files on your phone or/and memory card.
A very important information : (regardless of N-Gage 2.0)
As you have read right, I made or wanted you to format the phone and the memory card separately and back up your phone manually is because, here's the thing, IF AND ONLY IF your phone has a virus on it, making a back up via PC-Suite also backs up the virus file (I think). Saying that, when you want to return your back up from PC-Suite, it will also return the virus. AND, as I have experienced, these nasty viruses sometimes (or all the time) copies a clone of itself from the phone to the memory card. So, if you already has a virus, then format your phone, you actually don't know that the virus is also there on your memory card. After format the virus copies itself from the memory card to the phone. Making your phone format a waste. See what I mean?
Now you are worrying if the virus is in the memory card, then your PC is in danger? The answer is NO. A PC and a Mobile Phone has different Operating Systems. Saying that, a virus for the phone has no result on the PC, and vice-versa (unless someone made a single virus file for both OS. I'm not giving ideas you F***ing virus makers). The only way you could be infected is if your memory card already has a virus for the PC. Then you are DEAD (not literally). It is always and very best that you have a file explorer on your phone that can see hidden files on the phone and memory card (I use LCG X-plore) so that you can see if a PC-already-affected-virus copies something on your phone or memory card. This way you can always have the first move on protecting both your phone and your PC from a virus.

aw. hhmm.. i'm just renting on an internet connection here on the philippines. and their pc security is very strong. i can't get through unlike on other comp shops. i guess if you could wait for tomorrow i could upload it in two parts. fir now, i guess the best way is to read my step-by-step procedure so you could have some idea on what to do. thanks.

yup, and this method hacks your phone. do as you please after installing but i suggest do not uninstall secman. you need it for installing games.

ive tried installing fifa 2008 with my e61i and even played the game with no problem.now i tried the asphalt 3 game and installed it with no problem.when i tried to run it it run ok but the display is distorted.does anyone have solution for this?

Like I posted inthe other thread:

I have a e62 that has almost the same hardware of e61 and e61i. The only game that runs perfectly is System Rush. You said that Fifa 2008 is running well. On my mobile, this game starts, and I can even hear the sounds playing but not the image. If I change tasks is possible to see it running, but I cant get into the game to play It. Any hint?

I haven't got any slightest idea. but for my opinion. i think your files are all messed up or corrupted. because on my n71 and n76, i dont have any problems except for the "unable to start game" which is very normal. I am having a big problem; i followed trough all steps and when i try to finally play the game it shows a message that says "unable to play the game", WTF, i restarted the phone after the game instalation:confused:

What shall i do:suicide:

try to find out if the game you found out is in good condition, or is found working.. and what is the game that has the error? if necessary, reinstall (format the phone - follow my steps again) and be sure to follow every step that is stated ion my tutorial. and use the files that i've uploaded in the first post.

try to find out if the game you found out is in good condition, or is found working.. and what is the game that has the error? if necessary, reinstall (format the phone - follow my steps again) and be sure to follow every step that is stated ion my tutorial. and use the files that i've uploaded in the first post.

the problem bro is that you dont have 320x240 in your files.i hope someone can share it.coz e61i has 320x240 and i tried the 240x320 and it dont work.....

Step 1 - "Installing the N-Gage application"
Install N-Gage_1.01_Build_1281_(2007).sisx to your memory card. Continue installing the application by ignoring the warning that it is not compatible to your phone and some missing OS pipes.

Step 2 - "Installing the missing Symbian OS Pipes"
Noticed the missing Pipes? Now you'll install them. Install the Symbian_OS_Pipes_v1.2.sis to your memory card. It might or might not ask you to override it's previous version, if it does, click yes.

Step 3 - "Copy 20001079.txt to private parts of the phone a.k.a. HACKING the phone"
Remember the application SecMan we installed on your phone from your pc? This is the time to use it. First open SecMan, turn platinum security off, and activate the root certificate instalment. Now open your file explorer and copy 20001079.txt to "C:/private/10202be9". Overwrite if necessary. Now exit.

Step 4 - "Installing the N-Gage AutoStart"
Just install Nokia_N-Gage_AutoStart_v2.04.sis to your phone, ignore the "not compatible" warning. Move on to the next step.

Step 5 - "Installing the N-Gage Patch"
Again, just install Nokia_N-Gage_Patch.sis. And now you're done installing the N-Gage application. You now have your N-Gage launcher application. But what good will it do if there are no games??? I suggest you open SecMan, bring it back to default, then restart your phone (just to be safe). Now we're going to install the

1-4 Work But
Step 5 - "Installing the N-Gage Patch"
Don't work well it say "Cannot Install Application From untrusted supplier "

cant get the SecMan to work on my N81 8GB!

keep wanting to install it, got my TRK thnig connectd via bluetooth, PCsuite switched off, but nothing. just keeps loading and nothing happens until the system crashes.

using version 1.0 of the secman.

do not connect on bluetooth. i think it doesnt work. be sure to install which version of MetroTRK is for your phone. please read again chapter 1 - step 1. follow it in every single detail, all of it. please read again the tutorial, i've updated it clarifying the .txt thingy.

For System Rush, there's a crack for it for you to play it. Must activate root certificate installation on SecMan to install the crack. ask from where you got the game. thanks. add rep please. :excited:

make sure you have all the files needed for extraction. and you've downloaded the file successfully. always check the size that you've downloaded on the file that it says on how large it is. compare and see if it is the same.

Btw, N80 can't play them full screen as its for 240x320 res...

3. Format the phone using this: (I call this, phone's Self-Formatting)
*#7370# - Input on standby mode.
OR
Turn off the phone. Then PRESS and HOLD the Green Button + Number 3 + Symbol "*" (asterisk/star) SIMULTANEOUSLY. Turn on the phone. Keep holding until the phone asked you to input which country you reside.

4. Format the Memory Card via PC having the FAT disk attribute.

5. After formatting the phone, and the memory card. Put back the memory card again on the phone. Then format the Memory Card again using your phone. (Just to be safe)

6. Bring back all your files on your phone or/and memory card.

About the firmware, i don't think that there is no anyway of degrading (unless Nokia has a way).

I know you're already frustrated on me saying that you should read the tutorial again. But I'm just assuming that when i say reformat the phone, you didn't properly REFORMAT it, so leaving some old files behind. (i'm not suspecting or anything, i'm just assuming).

So again, here's that very annoying and frustrating words that always comes out from me:

READ AND DO THE TUTORIAL AGAIN. AND DO A VERY HARD FORMAT. (Tip above or see first post for further details)

As of now, i think that's the only way that you can ensure that you have fresh, from-installer files. And the only way that i can think of is maybe your game installers are corrupted. The only way i could think of now is uploading the games that I have, which is about ~100mb (i think). And please PAY EVERY ATTENTION that you have on the .txt file thing. If you already have one, don't overwrite (overwrite at your own risk). It could give you the ability to play in landscape but I still suggest the default files. And besides, N95 has already the ability to play in landscape, right?

phone factory setting is the same with *#7780# applied on the standby mode. Both are called "Soft Format", it just returns all the settings in its default state. Not reformatting your phone.

BTW, could you upload the original .txt of your phone? I'm just trying some of this .txt being modified by me so others can play on full screen and/or more. thanks.

read the tutorial again, I've finished updating it. i do think that this will work on your phone. as you can see on the website, the version supported is 10, then maybe, above ten. just think. they wont be updating their firmwares if it is not compatible on the phone. hence stealing the opportunity for those who have updated their firmwares the capability to play n-gage. that doesn't make any sense for the user end and the developers. i say try my tutorial. it has a special procedure on REAL N-Gage 2.0 compatible phones. and make sure that you have a non-corrupt/fully working installers of the game. and cracked by BiNPDA. give feedback.

Confirmed and Working on N95 8gb Firmware Version 20!

What i did :

1. Download and install N-gage 2.0 from N-gage website.
2. Install HelloCarbide by FCA00000, just follow instructions from this forum how to.
3. Install Games, just follow instructions from this forum how to.
4. Install N-gage patch to remove "trial" games. Thats it!

*CHAPTER 1* = *Preparing for instalment*

Step 1 - "Installing HelloCarbide.sis" -= N E W =-
Install HelloCarbide either on your phone or memory card. After it's done, you'll noticed that you have a new application called HelloCarbide (without an icon). Don't open yet.

Step 2 - "Applying the proper InstallServer.exe" -= N E W =-
I assume that you already have installed your file explorer, if not, install it first. Now open your file explorer (must enable "show hidden files and folders"), DO NOT EXIT but switch (press and hold the menu button) to your standby mode then open HelloCarbide. You'll notice that it has no welcome screen or what-not, just press Options -> Menu1 -> Yes. If done correctly it will close itself. Now you have all the capabilities on your phone, much as BiNPDA's Security Manager. Now switch back to your file explorer. (You must not open any other application other than your file explorer). Copy the proper InstallServer.exe on "C:/sys/bin" (if there is no "bin" folder, then make one). Exit from the file explorer. Do not do anything else, just restart your phone. Move on to installing N-Gage 2.0.

kamusta kabayan? wow pre, astig. ur tutorial realy works, i finaly installed 11 crackd ngage games by binpda. b4 my phone firmware is v11, all games works. i also instald binpda security manager, then i upgrd my phones firmware to v20, and re-instald ngage.2 instaler and crack games, and works perfect. and heres the thing, binpda secman works too on my phones new firmware. :) sorry 4 my english hehe

for your problem, you must check your connection settings. make sure no special characters.

Globoe subscriber (like me), i think has the default access point on N-Gage 2.0 of "My Globe Inet". Not sure about the name, I havent got my phone. give feedback.

hey i got a problem... i have an n81 and followed the instructions for the n-gage app.. i installed a few games and they worked great.. problem tho is that the next day they appeared as uninstalled.. i re-installed but all i get is "unable to start game(error 805306368)"- i read the fix bout how you should advance to a certain point so that it saves. problem is i can't start the game anymore making this quite impossible. Any advise...please help!!

Cant install on Samsung i450 (Hellocarbide.sis installed but nothing happened when menu1 selected). Also cannot install ngageinstaller.sis (cant install on other symbian machine besides nokia).
Installed correctly on my nokia 6120c but error code 'unable to start the game error 805306368' appeared on screen. I removed the game (COTD) and install it again. I even restart the phone and the error appear again. Can anyone solve this problem??

i followed all steps on my N95 (newest software) and have problem - when i run the Games (n-gage) from menu it shows "System error" and quits.

what to do? i got the same when i installed just the n-gage file from nokia site.

and one question: i copied the resolution file to private/... and i didnt chanege it name so it is 240_... is that good?

for certification expired, set back your clock on 04/04/08. it is very possible to install this on n95. follow the special tutorial for REAL N-Gage 2.0 compatible phones. follow every step and i strongly recommend to update your firmware to the latest version. if you can, try to debrand your phone. search the forum on how.

i know how to edit it. it's true that it won't start without it. i suggest looking in the tutorial for the working phones and see what to use 20001079.txt. and there are details on there on what it does.

update your phone to the latest version, if possible to, to the latest N80 Internet Edition. then follow my tutorial.

And no, some games don't run on full screen.

you've installed the phone update software, but DID you update your phone? I don't know what seems to be the problem for your phone because as stated and reported to me, it works on 6124c. You should try the old tutorial, download all the files and see where it is. I just can't remember where i put the old tutorial on the files that I've uploaded.

I could not update my phone because, as i stated, the software said the my phone is not supported .
I cant use ur old tutorial because it still involves the trk application , and every time i try to transfer something it restarts my phone .

An extra comment although, and maybe you could add it or even edit your first post concerning your point No. 6...

6. Nokia_N-Gage_Patch.sis / Details:
I think an N-Gage 2.0 Patch. Again, I honestly don't know what it does. And again, just install so there won't be any problem. I think this patch is also really needed.

I think & after reading some of BINPDA NFO files, that this concerns the following comment, as per BINPDA's own words... (LOL)

NOTE: After installing, in the n-gage app, the games are listed as trial games. If that annoys you, install the included patch.sis to remove the trial stamp from all games. You only need to do this ONCE for ALL the games!

As well, I think that you could add the following Note to your first post, in order to avoid further possible problems to some of your guide "followers" such as myself (LOL)...

NOTE: Don't start the n-gage when you have enabled the platform hack. The game will mess up your savegames or even worse!

I could not update my phone because, as i stated, the software said the my phone is not supported .
I cant use ur old tutorial because it still involves the trk application , and every time i try to transfer something it restarts my phone .

So what else can i do ?!

You must download the latest Nokia PC Suite and/or Nokia Software Updater from the official website. Just think, why would Nokia not support your phone, they made that phone. I don't know, but maybe you got a China phone copied as 6124, not a real Nokia. just assuming.

already tried and tested on both. must upgrade firmware to the latest. your choice which to buy, i suggest comparing their physical style.

I want to ask a very stupid question, at least I think it might be, but I have to ask it anyway.

Why install n-gage? I mean, on my N73 I had installed FIFA07, Asphalt, and many more of the games, I found them here on ipmart. So why install N-Gage? Is it a way to download new games, to have them all together? I'm not sure I understand the functionality apart from uploading your scores and talking to other people on the internet (according to n-gage.com).

What am I missing? If we don't want the internet functionalities, like comparing scores or playing online, why can't we install just the game like before? Does starting a game through n-gage give better graphics, or what exactly? FIFA 07 is out there on ipmart, I've played it and I can install it on my new N95 8GB phone, why do I need n-gage?

Please someone enlighten me... Also, what happens to the demo n-gage thing that came with the phone, does it get overwritten, or can we just delete it?

- EDIT: Hmm. I looked for a FIFA 2008.sisx, and couldn't find one. So I suppose the answer to my question is that the new games will come as .exe files, and we'll need n-gage to install them... It's just that my n-gage demo on my phone has FIFA 2007 as an example, and I have that as a sisx file which works without n-gage, hence my confusion.
So, thanks a lot for the tutorial! I suppose since my N95 supports n-gage I can skip the first part. yay.

I tried everything again with this new tutorial in my E50 and had the same results. Here's a screenshot so you know what i'm talking about:

After i open Tetris it starts running on the background and making noise and if i hold the menu button i can see the game but there's no way i can play it.

I'll update here as i try some more things.

Hi guys!!!!! I can confirm workin on E90!!!!!! Huray!!!! Follow all steps from this tutorial, BUT you have to delete "20001079.cre" from "C:\Private\10202be9\persists\20001079.cre" and place (it's very important - otherwise screen of game will be small) "352x416_n95_20001079" to folder "C:/private/10202be9" renamed just to "20001079"....

2.delete 20001079 and 20001079.cre
3.copy 20001079 file to destination folder.
4.turn off SecMan & Reboot.

But the games won't work even in small screen :oops2:

*CHAPTER 1* = *Preparing for instalment*

Step 1 - "Installing HelloCarbide.sis" -= N E W =-
Install HelloCarbide either on your phone or memory card. After it's done, you'll noticed that you have a new application called HelloCarbide (without an icon). Don't open yet.

Step 2 - "Applying the proper InstallServer.exe" -= N E W =-
I assume that you already have installed your file explorer, if not, install it first. Now open your file explorer (must enable "show hidden files and folders"), DO NOT EXIT but switch (press and hold the menu button) to your standby mode then open HelloCarbide. You'll notice that it has no welcome screen or what-not, just press Options -> Menu1 -> Yes. If done correctly it will close itself. Now you have all the capabilities on your phone, much as BiNPDA's Security Manager. Now switch back to your file explorer. (You must not open any other application other than your file explorer). Copy the proper InstallServer.exe on "C:/sys/bin" (if there is no "bin" folder, then make one). Exit from the file explorer. Do not do anything else, just restart your phone. Move on to installing N-Gage 2.0.

i cant explore to "C:/sys/bin" folder, and also cant make one
i tried to copy InstallServer.exe on "E:/sys/bin" but i cant patch --> 'unable to install from untrusted application'

Hello, I have already installed N-Gage Application (Version 1.01 (Build 1281)) on my N76. My phone is already hacked and can sign any unsigned applications and have Secman and AppTrek... I would like to know if I could just download the .sis installer for the n-gage application and upgrade my version to build 1282 without affecting my game progress or even my games. It would still be there right? I also installed the patch to remove the trail stamp and the text to have landscape mode. So, can I update my N-GAGE application?

i dont know if the n-gage application itself will allow this. because on sis installer, it is already stated there if its an update (upgrade) or an installer that has the application (full install). on this part, both the old and the new n-gage installers are full installer, it is not anyway an upgrade. so now im already saying that it's not possible.

but in other cases, some, applications are able to upgrade eventhough the installer is a full installer. so, as said at first, you could try if the n-gage application itself will let this work or will let you upgrade. try it yourself. i haven't tried it.

why? as i've known n73 has a greater ram than n71. and im using n71 which has 20mb of ram. N-gage has to have ~10mb free ram to work. so i guess there's a lot of application running on your background so this is not working on you.

as i've said before to a8c:

that's a proof that you didn't follow the steps correctly. double check on what you are doing and if it's the way to do.

on xplore, you must activate on the configuration the option to see hidden files and see system files/folders.

follow every step just to be sure. double check, no, TRIPLE check on every step that you are making if what you're doing is correct.

i have a problem bro.....
before i was able to use ngage on my phone. its working fine for all games. then one time, while using gnubox for connection i suddenly came up with an idea of going online with ngage. so i did. so i try to login give a user name and everything then suddenly it closes(ngage apps). so i try to open it again and i was not able to so restarted my phone thinking that RAM is the prob. but after the reboot it is still not opening..

i don't know what happened man. i think gnubox just trashed your n-gage app. or maybe you've configured you're gnubox properly but you didn't on the n-gage app. i actually have no idea. try asking here:

There´s still problems on the E90. The N-Gage app works fine but if I try to start Asphalt 3 it crashes with Kern Exec 3. On the inner screen it starts but can´t show normal graphics. I have tried with both the 352 x 416 20001079 file and some other files for 320 x 240 and it still crashes on the outer QVGA screen. Is there any solutions?

I´m removing the app now and wait for a working solution. The app is nice but the games must work. I think the best way is to get them going on the external QVGA display instead of trying to use the internal one.

by the time being, no. you could start your own project to translate it to your language with a little help of some programmers (like Arabpida does, must be a wrong spelling). or you could try to send it to n-gage website directly.

you could if your phone is one of the official compatible phones on the official website. then you could follow the special tutorial for it. but if not, you could stick to my repack.

regarding n-gage arena, you could connect but i don't suggest it. right now, on the other thread, we are just talking about it that maybe nokia or n-gage makers are now banning the imei's of those who have cracked/illegal games. use at your own risk.

try to restart the phone. kern-exec 3 problem sometimes is a symbian os pips related problem. try to upgrade to v1.2.

"C:\Private\10202be9\persists\20001079.cre" is created only if you've opened a game. that's what i think.

just follow these steps u wont go wrong AND make sure u DL games cracked by BiNPDA.

Special Tutorial for the REAL N-Gage 2.0 compatible phones

For N-Gage 2.0 compatible phones (N81, N81-8gb, N82, N95, N95-8gb) (firmware must be updated to the latest version), download the latest version on the official website for your phone, then follow these steps:
1. Install the official N-Gage 2.0 Launcher on your phone.
2. Follow all Chapter 1.
3. Follow Chapter 2 - Step 2 ONLY.
4. Follow all Chapter 3.

*CHAPTER 1* = *Preparing for instalment*

Step 1 - "Installing HelloCarbide.sis" -= N E W =-
Install HelloCarbide either on your phone or memory card. After it's done, you'll noticed that you have a new application called HelloCarbide (without an icon). Don't open yet.

Step 2 - "Applying the proper InstallServer.exe" -= N E W =-
I assume that you already have installed your file explorer, if not, install it first. Now open your file explorer (must enable "show hidden files and folders"), DO NOT EXIT but switch (press and hold the menu button) to your standby mode then open HelloCarbide. You'll notice that it has no welcome screen or what-not, just press Options -> Menu1 -> Yes. If done correctly it will close itself. Now you have all the capabilities on your phone, much as BiNPDA's Security Manager. Now switch back to your file explorer. (You must not open any other application other than your file explorer). Copy the proper InstallServer.exe on "C:/sys/bin" (if there is no "bin" folder, then make one). Exit from the file explorer. Do not do anything else, just restart your phone. Move on to installing N-Gage 2.0.

*CHAPTER 2* = *Installing the N-Gage launcher to your phone*
Step 2 - "Installing the N-Gage Patch"
Just install Nokia_N-Gage_Patch.sis.
(Im not sure if u did this part, coz u didnt metion it) XD

*CHAPTER 3* = *Installing the N-Gage 2.0 games*

(There are quite some difference from BiNPDA's necessary game instalment, to my way of BiNPDA games instalment. Either way, you could follow whichever you want. If you want to follow mine, read on.)

Step 1 - "BiNPDA games"
You should have downloaded or got the BiNPDA games by now. And you should come up with the game installer. If not, I think you should ask somebody about it from where to get it here and what to do about it.

Step 2 - "Game transfer" <- the difference
You must now got the game installers (xxxxx.exe files), and BINPDA told you to install it via MetroTRK connection. But I found a better, faster way (I guess, for me, because my computer doesn't have any USB 2.0 Port. And installing via MetroTRK took me 20mins+ just transferring the .n-gage files. Yeah, it's pretty outdated, I mean, REALLY outdated) So on to the procedure, don't connect your phone to your pc just yet. Open the game installer that you've found (make sure it's BINPDA cracked). Install it just as you would have connected your phone to the pc. Click the check boxes: got n-gage application, and no need to install BiNPDA SecMan application. Now you're in the MetroTRK automatic com port detection, just click next. then it will say that MetroTRK could not connect to phone, and then you'll see that there's an option saying that you could extract the file to the pc. What the hell?! So just extract it to the pc, the file will be on the directory where you've opened the game installer. Now all you need to do is transfer the .n-gage files to your memory card in "E:/n-gage/" (if there's no "n-gage" folder, then make it). Now you got games? Yes, but not yet installed. Move on.

Step 3 - "Installing the .n-gage files" -= N E W =-
You can now install games without any hassle of activating anything. As I have told you, you can now install almost all or any UNSIGNED applications/games on your phone!! Open N-Gage launcher. It could take about 5-10secs for loading. But hey, now you've opened it, wait for the “Preparing installation” warning to finish, but you still got no games. Press right on your keypad, you should see all your "to-be playable" games but only they are a little bit blurred. No worries, just click one up and it will ask you where to install. And after it is done feel free to play on or restart your phone, either way, you can now play. And we are done!!!

I've tried to install several times the main app but always at the end of installation process comes out with an "impossible to install" and I've no icon on menu's.. I've read I must format both phone and SD but I don't want to.. may be someone can post the entire archive of files needed by NGage so I can overwrite them all through XPlore? (I can't open ngage.sisx with unsis nor sisxplorer ..

what phone are you using?

make sure you have atleast ~5mb free space on your phone memory even if you want to install n-gage on your memory card.

reformatting is for those who are having problems installing n-gage on your phone. that's going t be including you.

there is no way to overwrite the installations of n-gage. all installers inside the n-gage are Full software installments. not an upgrade from a previous version. get it? i think you'll only just get "update error".

hi guys can any body plz help me i tried installin n i hacked my nokia 6110 navigator installed secman n trk n even installed the asphalt exe fine from pc to mobile using the binpda software but after i open the ngage software from my cell it opens n installes n wen i start the game after installation is says asphalt exited due to error n when i select more info it says kern exe c some thing like that n again if i try openin it says error code 18 i gess can any body help me i tried many games but it says the same wen i try to open it after installation.plz help me guys.plz help me.

try to reformat the phone and memory card and reinstall n-gage. reformatting tips are on the first post.

if it still doesn't work, use the N-Gage 1.00 Built 1262 released on 2007. I just don't know where you could find it. I've already deleted that on the archive and in my backups.

must be an on-phone problem or on the n-gage. i could only suggest that reinstall or try to use the previous version of n-gage, N-Gage 1.00 Build 1262 released 2007.

Skanob this is great tutorial but I would suggest to put some hints on whats changed when edditing it becouse its pretty long.Maybe just puting some keywords in "Reason for Editing:" will do it.

I can't install n-gage app. I've hacked my phone (e51) and before installing it shows "unable to install". Previous version worked very well.

must have free phone memory space of ~5mb and also some amount of free RAM. try restarting the phone before installing and confirm if you've downloaded the files and transferred it to your phone successfully. did you installed the previous version of n-gage successfully using my tutorial?

When I had older firmware i installed n-gage via metroTRK, when I updated firmware I used your tutorial (older n-gage version), now when I'm trying to to install it the installation window become transparent and when I click "accept" the error pops-up.

maybe wrong installserver that you have. reformat the phone and memory card. there is a new installserver that i've uploaded specially for e51. check the first post.

no. this is only for nokia. and as of my knowledge, n-gage is only for nokia phones.
