i think you cant mess up your games, just backup your original files, transfer this new in, and then go in games... you should be able to change in options->screen rotation and you should be able to shange in to landscape 90 and lanscape 280... ;)

this should work on all N series phones that have s60v3 i think...

i read the post alright and i already knew that the first file(OMAP) came from N82. and the second one (NON-OMAP) Nokia 6110 Navigator, Nokia 5700XM, Nokia 6120c. and as of now, validator said he/she used it the NON-OMAP phone on his/her N73ME. thanks anyway. I suspect that OMAP file is for FP1 phone models, and NON-OMAP file is for Pre-FP1 phone models. thanks so much.

you need to access Private folder in C Drive, bro that can only happen in hacked phones.

It was made only of Feature Pack 1 phones. SymbianOS v9.2 have both phones with OMAP Chipset (N82, N95,E90) and without that Chipset.

If Pre FP1 Phones face any problems let me know.

Tested and confirmed NOT WORKING on my N71(latest firmware). I am able to play the game but when changing the display mode, it changes but disoriented color and screen, then the application hangs, but not the phone. Too bad. Anyway, thanks man.

nope. even landscape pro. I guess my phone (N71) is the least featured phone on the S60v3 family. But I am enough thankful for N-Gage 2.0 works on it.

Landscape mode work well in my E65, but keypad configuration don't change, and so don't fit landscape mode !

...okay....! I have done every step and I`m still unable to "hack" my phone. (N82 v20.0.062). Really, I have been following the instruction BUT my phone still won`t allow me entering the "Private" folder in the "C-drive".

Any other idiots like me having the same problem.....?

you have N82... just install appTRK for FP1, you can find it here if forum... then just instal SECMAN from BiNPDA (you can also find it in the forum just use search) and when you install SECMAN, you open it in your phone and click "Turn Plat. Security OFF" and then install XPlorer and open it and you can go to private folder...

The extra menu is now enabled in most of the N-Gage games. I thought it would rotate automaticly somehow :D but, but.....! Doesn`t matter now that it`s working fine!

...I`m still a bit confused I finally got it to work by turning the platform "On" intead of "Off".... :)

On most of the phones when you try to rotate the screen the games freeze and you must reinstall them. This file fixes this.

btw earlier with me too whenever i tried to rotate the screen in COTD and ASPHALT it worked perfectly but when i exited the game (while in landscape mode) and tried to open the game next time it wont start and i had to reinstall

Space impact don't have landscape. Other games that have: Asphalt; Hooked On; System Rush; Brain Challenge; Block Breaker. You must rotate the screen in the settings of every game.

On E50 when using the 20001079.txt the games can now be opened but they always stay on the background (you can see by pressing menu key but cant control the game anyway). Maybe changing some settings in this file solves this problem? I dont want to rotate screen i just want to play ngage on my E50. Thanks

yeah mate. Its working on N73. Tested by me. COTD, All gameloft n gage 2.0 games (except Brain Challenge coz it doesnt work even in potrait on my N73), System Rush, the sims2, fifa08, world series of poker, and snake. SIKB, mile high pinball and tetris can't rotate to lanscape. Maybe those games dont have Rotate Screen option..

edit : I managed that GL Brain Challenge works on my N73ME after deleting the 20001079.cre and put the 20001079.txt from attachment on respective folder. Thanks enej. Rep+ added

Can't play ngage games in landscape mode on my N82 v 31.0.016. Removed the file, copied the .txt into that folder but nothing said there about "C:\Private\10202be9\20001079.txt and replace it with this one."
