Well, I am totally convinced that getting programs for the BlackBerry is like getting software for Mac as compare to PC. It's not going to happen. I am now missing my Treo that I left for the BlackBerry 8330. I had tons more apps that I was able to get such as PhotoContact that was 100% effective to block calls, Spb Imageer for photo's, e-wallet to secure your personal data, etc..............all this hype about blackberry, and I can't say I have one thing good to say about BlackBerry, the programs are either limited, unavailable or expensive. Just my opinion.

Even though this was posted almost 1 year ago, I will agree. Blackberry really lacks support when it comes to freeware programs, or even cheap programs for that matter. Of course, when you use a BB for business its different, because the built in programs are a plenty, but compared to the palm or windows OS, BB is by far the worst. Period.

if you have money for a blackberry, you have money for apps which are a fraction of the price ...

Although I support that saying often, in this case or any other cellphone case, I do not think it would apply. Same applies with PCs. You CAN pay for Microsoft Office OR you can get a free alternative, just as an example.

Plus BB are cheap, you can pick them up for like 50$ used and contracts start at about 40$, including data-talk-msn so, pretty good deal.

Idk, i reallly dont care, its a nice system to work with but lacks a lot of support, in my opinion anyway!

Peace
