My home pc has this problem. The screen resolution changes itself. Sometimes, the display gets too big when I start the computer and I would need to adjust the display manually using the buttons on the monitor. Sometimes the display could be insimentrical. What I mean here is the right side of the display appears to be smaller than the left side of the display. That means all the words at the right side become smaller while the the words appear on the left side of the screen get bigger. Any solutions?>>>:oops2:

The problem is your monitor. Unable to store the settings which you have set.

To test, try to use other monitor to check. If still same problem, then its the video card or driver.

remove and reseat your video card, this will clean the contacts,make sure the cable is secure and on "square" allow the monitor to warm up-at least 15-30 min before changing settings,make sure that you dont have any strong magnetic fields near -unshielded speakers etc,try a degauss,it wont help your field fault but it will help clear any impurity in screen colours,hope this helped a bit.
