Im looking for an app that will complement the calendar by allowing to record voice notes instead of text input when the calendar is open on "day" view.
when you hold down a specific time on the calendar, the voice recorder is activated and the Voice Note automatically gets recorded on the calendar date and time you are holding down, and gets added to your reminders/appointments with default settings and no more questions.
It would be a lot better obviously if it was translated to text first, but not necessary.
I was able to find "voice cal", very old and uninstallable on wm6.1 with .cf.net 3.5
and also "speerio voice organizer"... looks like a memory hog and i read it doesn't work right. Its also crowded with a million different things that are not useful.
I just want a simple interface to be able to use with one or two clicks or buttons in order to set up a calendar event while im driving or on the phone etc....

If you have tried any of the TomTom 7 releases and it has broken your sound here is the fix (it worked on my WM5 Acer C510) :

The installer has put an incompatible dll on the system. The following is much easier using ActiveSync.

In the windows directory find the file BtCoreIf.dll and delete or rename it to xxBtCoreIf.dll.

Soft reset the device and all sound is restored.

I can help you on this one, try the (fring), it is free with all chat program that u can use on your WM6.1, I am using it on my TytnII. Just google it, type in fring it will come up. Good Luck:excited:

I have TomTom 7 installed on my mio 168 working fine and now have TomTom Home 2 installed and I can now get TomTom Home to see my SD card but the only thing thatis not working is mapshare.

I know that some kind person has a location where we can download any update manually, but it would be nice if I could get mapshare to work.

Any suggestions as I guess I am not the only person with this issue

My experience - TT7 installed on phone memory - if on SD card - mapshare doesnt work. Must activate mapshare in TT settings in map management and it work... TT Home present problem but on next screen updates maps OK...

If I have the SD card in the Mio TomTom Home does not see anything.

I was fiddling with my phone the other day and was installing many applications & games. While installing one software (i think PhatPad) it prompt me a message that the software would interfere with my touch flo and asked if i would want to turn it off. Being anxious to use the software i agreed.

However when i went to Settings > System > Touch Flo, i could not find the option to enable back my touch flo. I tried the soft reset but it didnt work.
Problem: My touch cube works. BUT the finger panning etc does not work.

A touch phone with out the touch flo isnt a touch phone anymore ): Any of you guys faced such situations before? Are the any solutions to this?

chrisd .....i have alse a MIO 168 with TT7 , but the TT7 does not indicate the amount of satellites, and the GPS-staus does not show the satellites used.

Tomtom does not have map coverage in those two countries (Tomtom is very weak in Asia).

Would be usefull for me too BUT ....

I have tried both igo version and tom tom version (latest ones) and found that you cannot rely on them because Turkiye is a building country. There is too much change from month to month and maps are definetly inaccurate.

They can only be used for highway navigation between cities wich is pretty much well indicated (hours of roadtrip on endless ways)

I have been browsing a few forums, and posting here and there and noticed there's something that I can do too help everyone who has helped me with awesome applications.

Basically it's a website (to start off with), dedicated to finger friendly applications - a bit like the iPhone. So smooth finger gestures and scrolling that's nice and smooth.

Anyway I am about 60% completed, and I'm giving no more details but be ready for an awesome website for applications like the above.
I will then create subdomains dedicated for games and such, there will be tournaments - coding included and such, this is at a later date.

Anyway I wanna know what you think of this - and if you will use it?

Was hoping to engage in everyone's expertise, I have been searching and installing a dozen of applications on my notebook and PPC but have failed everytime. Im trying to have my old PPC with O/S wm2003se be used as a remote for my XP machine. that is to use it to control windows media player (VIDEOS) mainly. I have managed to install it onto my nokia phone, BluetoothRC which was a java file. But have had no success in installing/finding such an app for WM2003se.

Please help me I'm pulling all my hair out trying to figure this out.

I have an XDA Stellar (or an HTC TYTN II, if you prefer) with BlackBerry Connect installed. I am able to browse the internet using the BlackBerry connection as long as I select Internet Browser from the BlackBerry folder. Is there a way I can force other apps that need to connect (eg. Google Maps, Spb Weather) to use the BlackBerry connection rather than them connecting to the network, therefore costing me extra in data downloads on top of the £10 I already pay O2 for the BlackBerry service?

I use the pocket plus on my ETEN X600. Sometimes (i dont know when) the icons of the isntalled apps in the micro SD are get lost. There are only the shortcuts.
There is an option in the pocket plus > options >settings> today plug in> feature options>advanced tab> "Refresh icons in today plug-in when storage card is sinerted.

BUT if this option is checked it's refreshing constantly, there is always on the screen the rotating circle and the system slows down.

Any ideas?

Does anyone else with iGO8 (any build, cracked) and a TYTNII have problems switching off their device? I simply cant get into standby mode: the screen starts to flash off & on. Also minimizing the app makes it imposible to switch it off. I need to exit the app in order to switch of my phone.

This issue apears on all roms (6.0, 6.1, stock & cooked) and every version of iGO8 sofar. Can anyone confirm this? Is there a fix for this problem?

I have HTC touch (Elf). I have been having one big problem regarding calender reminder.

I have 77 birthday reminders, and 60 appointment for a week in my calender.

When I first sync with the my outlook on my pc for first time all my appointments reminder works, but after one day all the appointment reminders are coming.

I have checked notifications in MEMMAID it shows all my birthday reminders but not appointment one. deleted all duplicate (if any) entry , rebuilded the notifications as well. But still none of my appointments are coming undernotifications.

I tried hard reset so many time still first day it works from next day it don't.

I checked may our forum as well. It suggest to use alarm today software but it still doesn't work for me. I have tried other forums as well but no much luck.

All my business is base on these appointments, I have tried so much to solve this but not much luck.

I would give all information you ask or all stats you want.

Would you please help me out for this. Is it only me or its microsofts problem.

The problem is with WM when they sychronize with PC.

I hard reset it and never again to sychronize with PC.

Backup all your data using spb backup or resco, then hard reset.

I used memmaid and delete all the reminder and later ended up with problem when reset too. So to be safe, hard reset and load up everything.

I guess that is a good idea. You need to hard reset your Elf, then windows will reinstall. Here's how to make a hard reset:
Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset.

All your saved data on your ppc internal memory will be lost (not on your storage card).

I tried installing iContact (Burts Edition) and PocketCM Contacts on my mobile with WM6.1 Classic (touchscreen and phone functionality), both dont work. If I try to launch them after installing, I get an error dialog(something about "component not found" or "certificate reliability"). The iContacts Configurator app is working, though.

At any rate I think you can find what you want by reversing your thinking, rather than multiple blacklists look for something with multiple white lists, or temporary profiles. I just use it for full screen caller ID, but photocontacts pro may do what you want with it's temporary profiles. I can't remember what program it is, maybe phone alarm (or something like it) but I'm sure there are others as well. I know with a click of my finger I can set my phone to accept calls from just members of my "family" category all others are either rejected or sent straight to voice mail, my choice. Keep looking you will find what you want.

i want to use it as a GPS unit by putting in an invalid sim card. how do i do that and what do i need to do? sorry i'm absolutely clueless and a techie noob. i'm hoping to install a mapking or garmin gps s/w in it and use it in my car or when i travel (on foot) to various cities.

You should check out magicall.

This allows for several lists, with a different action for each. Also, time based as to when the 'rule' for the list will apply.
It allows an action on reject call etc.

Hello, I have a major issue with my .htm and .html files association after uninstalling NetFront Web Browser. I have made all corrections on th registry and everything seems to be fine except the 'default browser'.
Now whenever i click from Resco Explorer on an .htm/.html file something which looks like the normal file explorer without bars appears. The weird thing is that the running application has the icon of internet explorer....
Also, when i choose 'view' from Resco Explorer, the .htm/.html files appear correctly.
Any help on how to fix this problem and make Pocket Internet Explorer once again the default web browser would be highly appreciated.

You want your dial keypad to became a joystick? I have a small program written specially for Asus P526, so I don't have any idea if it works on other PDAs.

I'm using an htc gene n the problem is... my ppc has has slowed down after i installed n removed a software, that software automatically started installing in the phone memory ( w/o asking whether storage card or phone) n after i removed it, it slowed down

Is there any way i can overcome this problem?

Another prob. is that i wanna make some space in my phone memory by un-installing some unneccessary softwares like windows upldate,live n one or 2 too...

Any suggestion for any of these problems?... Its damn urgent!!!

i have been using a MDA VARIO II [T-Mobile] from last 1 month and this is really a cuttie for me..

when i brought this phone it came with Windows 5 and let me specify that this is Herm300.

-- what i would like to know is that can i upgrade this phone to Windows 6 and by doing this will the phone funcnality slow down due to its hardware configuration which is 64 ram, cause i would in no way wish my phone slows down.. cause right now my pda is fully loaded and that makes it really amazing..

Looking 4 some good BT software that will let my ATT Tilt phone remember the mac of devices it has connected too via bluetooth so that I do not have to search for their phone every time I send a file, also would like it to give me progress of the file being dl or ul as well as I would like one that works pretty seamless such an option to take it off my Home screen as I don't need more crap on my home screen ;) Is there any app like this as I have searched and found a few such as Dr. Yar Bluetooth, BlueSoleil, as well as a few others.... but nothing with all those features especially the remembering connections option.

I know that i.e. \Windows\notes.exe -n will open notes.exe and create a new text or ink note, or that -v will create a voice memo.
Now I saw two options in Spb Mobile Shell, one is Create Text Note and the other Create Ink Note, and I was wondering how is the corresponding commandline argumetn? Except of -n and -v I didnt find anything. How does Spb Mobile Shell interact with Notes.exe, who knows about more arguments, and especially: HOW TO create text notes OR ink notes (-n option creates same type as last time, that means if before was ink note, it will create ink, if before was text note, will create text note.)

Can anyone help? Would be great appreciated!
