View Full Version : PC dont sturt up EVERYTIME !!! PLZ HELP

Hello everybody!

i have a pc with paramtres as below,below.built it myself.

The problem is:

After i installed Windows xp sp2 restarted it and it showed the boot page os Asus Logo as here and never boot.

i have te restart the pc about 2-10 time so it can boot normally,when it boot normally it works fine and is very fast,too normal.
but
if i shut it down or restart it has the same problem,,plz anybody help,couze i dont wnat to buy another mootherbord.

Also i have made e bios reset,flashed bios,changed the battery.

This is a hardware problem. Do not flash your bios. Just remove battery for 20 seconds then put it back.

Problem might be your RAM or HDD. Try to unplug RAM, HDD, DVD then put RAM first then observe, next is HDD. Also do not plug flash disk or card reader with MMC on it.

Post your results / findings.

i replaced ram with another compatible one,but nth.

but when it boot normally sometime,it works fine and fast,i just dont understand why the ASUS BOOT SCRREN JUST FREEZE SOMETIME,TOO MANY TIMES IN FACK AND I HAVE TO RESTART OR SHUT DOWN SEVERAL TIME FOR IT TO BOOT NORMALY

On CMOS, enable quick boot and remove the ASUS splash screen display so that you can see where the CMOS hang particularly.

Hope you can find it.

quick boot is enabled,but splash screen have had difficulties 2find it,i`ll make a check,this is a sh** problem.
i work as IT and never had problem like this,very very wired

Sorry I am not capable of telling the permanent solution but as a temporary solution i can suggest that don't shut down the windows too often but use hibernate.I used to do this with my older pc.:suicide:
