WCL it's the world map, in the first post, just unrar it and put the folder in Maps folder.
This map for Israel can be used just in hebrew, so, you have to find one in english....
hey thanks for the response, but i already have the mlm (all maps is installed as well as a folder called wcl) in my maps folder,
i geuss my question is , how do i install new maps and is there a way to have like a 'basic' world map.
as for the hebrew can i turn the menus into English?
Thanks again.

Really, i don't understand you:
WCL is basic world map (basemap)
If you are talking about a map with major roads, here it is for Europe:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
You just have to copy the respective folder to "map" folder. That's it.
For Israel map, i just gave you the response.

im not asking the right question, sorry
i understand the maps go into the "map" folder im wondering how do you use diffrent maps, like if i put the Israel map into the maps folder then put a Europe map into the maps folder will the program open both and if yes why cant i make the menus into english.
im sorry if these are dumb questions but there are no 'good' install instructions for the sygic program or for the maps...
Thanks for all your trouble

Thanks for all your trouble
Do you have other languages inside this folder?:
CardRoot\Res\Skin
For instance english.lang
And also you need other voices inside folder:
CardRoot\Res\Voices
Voices are in folder, for instance english_us_man

You can put as many maps you want, if the MLM file contain them in it, Sygic will open them all.
Sygic has many languages, you can change the menu in your preferred one, but if the map is in hebrew, you can't do anything.
And there are Sygic threads where are detailed installation guides, but old ones and when a new version is out, it supposed that all new already everything about it. Just use "search" function and you will see...

I have the same problem as you. I could load this MAP, but it's all in Hebrew. And my Nokia E71 keyboard dosen't support Hebrew... So I cannot type anything to search...
Any idea?

What I mean is that even if you change the language, you still cannot TYPE anything in Hebrew. So you cannot search for any address...

this topic changed from maps for version 7.60.731 to maps for v7.7x and it is not right...
there are countries where McGuider releases only very basic maps for sygic v7.7x, mainly East Europe.
so please come back to original topic, because this is the ONLY forum that has links for v7.60.731.
by the way... any Cyprus map for v7.60.731, please?

Could you please re-upload on another file sharing website. This one is a mess, and there is nowhere to click on to get the file (or at least, it's really not obvious!).

Hopefully thanks to your help, under this topic, I have found the correct maps (france and italy with ".mlm" extention) for my mobile phone. Could someone tell me how can I activate them? I use the "Sygic v. 7.60731"software.
I am a rookie in this topic so I will need some help in order to activate them.
thanks

Maps have pak extension. file with mlm extension is the file for Sygic to recognize the map. Use the one from the first post.

ioji and the rest of the community. I'm new at this, just got a chinese gps unit with wince4.2 and 320x240 screen
Would you please mind reposting working links for the last version of Sygic 7.x working with that kind of system, together with the link for latest Hong Kong maps.
I've looked for a while now and all links I found are dead.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

It's old thread, no point in uploading maps again, they don't work with the new Sygic. Use the new one, along with compatible maps.

My device is actually wince5.0 and resolution 640*400. So which is the latest version of Sygic that would work there?
Also would there be in your opinion a better alternative? I'm looking for a product with good GPS localisation (so no Tomtom), a nice clean interface with advanced functions like lane assist and TTS, and with maps of Hong Kong. (if it werent for that last part I would have settled for Navigon).

You should look in the appropriate thread:

But for HKG, i would use Garmin. It's a littlebit tricky, but it works on wince too.
