The PBC_SMScontrol is an SMS counter and balance application for handsets operated by Symbian S60 3rd V9.1 and above. It lets the user set a balance for his messaging services. This balance (quantity not currency)) is tracked in real time mode by the handset and the user is notified when it ends. Also a bill date included.

Let me ask 1-2 other things I'm not sure of...

- Billing day = the day the operator resets the counter and starts counting the sms you have sent, right?

- Now what about the SMS settings? How exactly does the "Warning SMS", the "SMS Notification" and the "SMS to" work?
Is it supposed to send an sms to another mobile number to notify for something?

p.s. If I'm not wrong in order for the app to track the sms sending, etc it has to remain open (hidden) in the background, right?

i have problem with this software i have installed it it runs fine but doest do anything i set the balance also but when i sent any sms the counter doest go down.. i set the balance to 2000 and after that i had sent many sms but when i checked again the balance was still at 2000 and used sms were zero..

i m using nokia E61i

Do you "exit" the app?
Probably you must "hide" the app so that it runs at the background.

ya i hide it i didnt exit it but it doest do anything

Any message having more characters which deducts the charges of 2 sms, is counted at one sms............is there any solution for this??

FreiMinMon is better....can track no. of sms sent, as well as airtime used
